Yes I agree on that there this game could use a switch port. This game is such an underappreciated gem that sadly not many people take notice to or speak of these days and is a real shame this was probably one of the greatest gba games there was and it really pushed the system to its limits too.
Yes Golden Sun will always be the stuff and one of the greatest GBA games of all time this game was just perfect and really showed what the game boy could be capable of when used to its fullest capacity need more games like Golden Sun on the system.
I didn't even know there was a hard mode for this game and I played this game over more times than I could count wow heh. And that sounds painful Cruel Ruin is already annoying and gets spammed a lot as is I can't imagine that getting worse. I gotta admit though visually it is probably the coolest attack in the game to the point I played around with cheat codes on another file before in the past and gave that move to my characters lol
@@Naglfar94 Not sure if you have to beat the game once or beat every boss and do 100% completion. But once you do and you make a new game on a different save file it will ask if you'd like to play on hard mode. The monsters hit harder and have more health.
_Oh and I forgot in every game when soldiers in combat is having some trouble of course there's going to be some backup I killed like about I think five zombies in 7 days to die with a sledgehammer and it was so easy I didn't know where they're coming from basically they spawn in the dark or they just came out of the Shadows without me knowing I think like they're lying around in the dark to make it look like that they came up from the ground and attacked me use nothing but my sledgehammer no gun but I had my guns put away man these bosses you fought are so amazing yeesh there's so many bosses the game altogether must have took like about two or three weeks to finish??? I'm going to be watching this for like 1 whole hour._
I mentioned in the video itself I believe that I had skipped Agatio and Karst (human forms) due to the way their battle is their fight is plot based and you have no control over if you win or lose it and even when you ''win'' you still lose so I didn't include it basically I only included all the normal boss battles ones that you can actually really win or lose.
Yeah Star Magician can be pretty tough! I remember when I first fought him couldn't win. He becomes kinda easy with the setup I used in the video though boosting resistance helps a ton and Ivan and Sheba both have resist boost it helped bring down a lot of that damage and of course have either Mia or Jenna for heal all on standby just in case then just pound on him until he dies with summons and group attacks to keep the crystal balls dead.

It's atypical to have a RPG where there's multiple boss enemies, due to how those battles are normally paced.

Yeah the first boss theme in this game is pretty intense more so than Golden Sun 1 boss theme but I like it.

In hard mode, Doom Dragon spams cruel ruin almost every turn its insane.
