I had no idea your wife was unwell 😢. Sending her my best wishes and a speedy recovery from Iowa. I'll mention her in my prayers too. Thank you for making your videos, I enjoy them tremendously. That green pencil really pops!
Hey man. You probably won’t read this. Or see it. But I came across this video and got emotional because I used to watch your videos 10 years ago almost. They brought me through so many lonely nights. I felt like you were almost a family member, showing and teaching me things. Today I am okay, but I am so thankful to you and how you pulled me through those dark lonely times. You’ve been there for all of us for a decade now. It’s remarkable.
Wishing you and your wife good health. Even though you are soft spoken and calming in your thoughtful videos, your devotion to your wife has always come through loud and clear. There is no doubt she is in the best of hands with you by her side. Thank you for these videos, you are a gift! That green pencil really pops!
I think a lot of people take for granted what silence/pauses can do in ASMR. You wield the pauses well sir. Thanks for the great videos over the years 🙌🏻
As soon as I saw the boxes on the shelf I knew we were in for a classic video. As everyone else says in the comments this is the best ASMR channel on youtube by far and anyone who disagrees has not watched the vast amount of videos that always provide variety and interesting subjects other artists never have touched. The way I found this channel was you creating the video of my two favorite subjects, baseball cards and ASMR. Since watching I must have watched all of your videos in the last ten years at least 3 times and maybe even more on some. I hope you know you are very appreciated and cherished by the ASMR community. I could have had so many restless and sleepless nights but it is quite the opposite thanks to you. I hope you never get discouraged or stop being you. I am sure I speak for the majority of people here when I say I love you and your videos. Take care -Christopher
I love how hes talking really soft and calm and rain in the background, this is another great channel for ASMR!! This really makes me want to draw traditional art listening to some rain with a cup of coffee and just hearing the silence. 🌧️ ☕ Subscribed!! ❤
That green pencil really pops! I dozed off several times, but forced myself awake again, because I didn't want to miss anything. Your videos about writing utensils are my favorite :D
I have no artistic use for mechanical pencils (my drawing ability didnt evolve past early school!) but i find them a pleasure to write with, and they seem to improve the elegance of my handwriting. I have always been envious of your fantastic stationary collectoon, O Godfather.
Same for me. I don't draw, I only write, and used to draft long in the past, and I love these pencils. No matter the lead size, a quality pacer is always a pleasure to use.
Wow I used to watch your videos 9-10 years ago, I'm not sure why I'm not subscribed anymore however finding this video in my recommended gave my a massive (positive) blast from the past. Happy to see that you're still making videos, and this time I am definitely subscribed haha!
Thank you for all the yeas of these videos. They have helped me through very tough times. You are a gem and blessing to me and thousands of others. I pray for you and your wife. Hang in there and may you be blessed and encouraged.
Short answer: Yes! Long answer: For the five-plus years I've been subbed to this wonderful channel, EVERY video that's been uploaded has made me sleepy. Thank you, Mr RASMR, and much love.
Your voice reminds me deeply of someone I used to play Xbox with. My friend's grandfather bought an xbox 360 to play with him when he visited and ended up playing a lot of call of duty with us. Fond memories are brought back because of listening to you through the years.
Long time watcher of your videos. Starting with the old lawn mower video. I've had my dad's Cross pencil and pen from the 60s on my desk since I recovered them from his office a couple years back. He'd have appreciated your channel.
every time i watch a video from you, it reminds me my grandfather and the stories that he used to tell me about his life by the fireplace in his house. I'm a Big fan of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing:) I must say that I like your handwriting with the mechanical pencils. I like to draw with pencils. the sound of it and specially creating shadows sliding my fingertips over the charcoal. Maybe could be a cool video. pencil drawing. just a thought. :) once again, Thank you so much for sharing.
That green pen really pops. And thank you for bringing back my memory of pencil wars from my primary school. It was also a thing in the UK in the 80’s. 😊
this makes me so nostalgic for my childhood. i know we grew up in different times, 5th grade for me was 2005, but it just reminds me of sitting at my grandparents kitchen counter doing homework after school. mom will get off at 5, and maybe we’ll all have whatever grandma cooked. watch some reruns of sitcoms and then go home to play with my legos and do it all again tomorrow
That was almost 20 years ago, to be fair. More than enough time to get nostalgic over. 5th grade for me was in 2002. I hated doing homework at home, so I did all of it in school still.
While I'm a fountain pen enthusiast and enjoyed seeing the vintage pencils that accompanied them, the one that really got me in the nostalgia was the Pentel eraser near the end, because I bought that exact same one in my college bookstore many years ago. Funny what trivial little items can take us back to a moment.
I used to have a pack of black Ticonderoga pencils that i switched to white eraser heads bc those pink erasers smudged on my pages. Best setup for HS note-taking.
I've been following you since your second video you ever posted on YT, and have always enjoyed watching. I've always had a hunch you were from Janesville, based on some of the content within your videos. I'm just outside of Madison, so I'm aware of the area. :) Best wishes to you and your wife.
I remember when my sister first started middle school i got her 2 pentel sharp p205 or p207 ever since then she use pentel sharp p2 series all the way to college
Is this a repost im almost possitive ive watched this video last year at some point kinda freaking me out haha or either that have you used somw of these in other videos ?

I need a Pen, I can only find a pencil. I need a pencil, I can only find a pen. I need a Phillips head screwdriver, I can only find a flat head. I need a flat head, I can only find a Phillips head. Why is this? It never fails to happen. Oh, and that green pen really pops! Nite Nite, and always, THANK YOU.

Also I'm glad you're doing better now!
Indeed rottenapple. I try:)
Hey Daniel. Glad you found your way back to channel and really glad things are better for you:)

Thank you for taking time out of your days to make these videos for us. Your channel is a hidden treasure on this website.
One of your finest videos! Pens, rain sounds, magnifying glass, life’s observations! No one can do what you do, sir. ✨
I am in awe of how well organized you are, everything in labelled boxes, I hope to be like that one day
Since I made a conscious effort and started to organise things this way, I never want to stop. It's satisfying and handy.
I think a lot of people take for granted what silence/pauses can do in ASMR. You wield the pauses well sir. Thanks for the great videos over the years 🙌🏻

Mechanical pencils: a subject both engineers and artists will probably appreciate!
Artistic mechanical engineering graduate here, can confirm.
Engineers, artists AND writers.
I love the thunderstorm in the background, great video.
It’s one of the reasons I come here often 🌧️ ❤
Thank you for all the yeas of these videos. They have helped me through very tough times. You are a gem and blessing to me and thousands of others. I pray for you and your wife. Hang in there and may you be blessed and encouraged.
Those pencil toppers are awesome, so glad you kept up with those for so long to show us :)

The arrow clips are my favorite part of these pens. I can imagine they looked sharp peeking out of a crisp shirt. A little jewel.

Thanks for the video, that green pencil really pops ✏️
Mechanical pencils are vastly superior to traditional ones in my opinion. Great video, extremely relaxing. That green pencil really pops!
We did pencil fighting in elementary school in the late 80s early 90s. Pentech pencils were unbeatable.

I have ask, are the storm sounds a background effect or are these just filmed in a very stormy place?
