@@TechforToastmasters I did not have a good experience with Zoom whiteboards... I tried setting up some pages in advance for our exec meeting (with images and text)... there was a long lag in pages getting saved and the images didn't show up for the other person. Thankfully, we did a test run ahead of meeting. We switched to Miro. Looks like Zoom needs to put in a fair amount of work to make the whiteboard work seamlessly.

it would be worth mentioning that the Whiteboard button does not appear unless you are using the Zoom app. You cannot share a whiteboard using the browser based Zoom
It would also be worth mentioning that the Chromebook distro also lacks this feature, as well as Polls, and I'm sure a lot more stuff I'm not aware of

Excellent video showing Zoom's Whiteboard capabilities. I wonder how it compares to Pencil Spaces?
Well, there are lots of Whiteboard tools. Many will be superior to ZOOM. However, what makes ZOOM whiteboard special is its direct integration with the meeting.

However, it is unavailable to Zoom Pro users as I don't see whiteboards as a tab on the bottom.
Can I load a whiteboard we have prepared ahead of time, or is that only for the Enterprise version?

@@TechforToastmasters I am a trainer and I'm noticing that when using a Mac, I see the new Whiteboard. On a PC, I do not see it. I want to be able to train my folks on it, but it's not consistent across the platforms, at least on the computers I've tested. Do you see this, too? Are you on a PC or a Mac?
Okay, now I have it on my PC. I'm wondering if it is a version issue on other PCs.
@@miahoyt9516 It will take few weeks before everyone updates their zoom client.
If this is something you want to do in your training, I suggest you send a note to all participants to ensure they log in with latest version of zoom.
Cajetan Excellent videos and content. When I was looking for how to make a Zoom Quiz, I came across your video. You're doing a great job and explaining everything clearly. However, I'm not sure how to even pronounce your name. You can help yourself by saying your name and the name of your channel in each video. That will be highly beneficial to you and your channel's growth. I'm now a subscriber.
Hi Zahid. Thanks for subscribing. I usually like to get straight to the point of the video without wasting time on introductions etc. Everyone finds my name difficult to pronounce, so they just call me 'Cajie'. Pronounced (Kajee).
Another informative video. THANKS. The problem I seem to be having while practicing is: How do you close the white board and continue the meeting? (I know this is a simple question, please humor me.)
On the top of the window, a message in bright red shows "Close Whiteboard"
Why can you only insert images when not in a meeting?
