- So, this is a video of me adding water to the HDD 12 egg incubator. You will need a good hygrometer that is accurate. The unit doesn't have it's own. That is also the alarm for the temperature. It goes off if it is too low or too high. You might want to turn down the sound. Happy hatching!

Hi. I've just received one of these incubators but I'm a little confused with the alarm settings. I have my temperature set at 37.5c which is fine but when I go to set the Alarm High & Low settings they both only let me go to 15c. I wanted to set the low to 37c and the high to 38c! My upper temperature limit is set to 39.5c and my lower limit only goes to 15c. Am I doing something wrong or is my unit faulty?

I put for hatching 4 days ago with this inqubetor, but it's difficult to regular humidity, always higher like 70-80 % using little amount of water. And instead temperature of thermometer is lower than inqubetor inqubetor, what should I do? Please help me
Remove some of the water or do a dry hatch and go by the air cells. There are pictures on the internet, of how the air cells should look like like at different stages.
How often do you need to check the humidity and fill up the water? Please help.
Depends, if it drops below 35%, thats going to be a problem. It has a fan, so I'd keep it 45% +/- 10%

1. Does this amount stay the same? As in, when u get further into the journey, do u needa add more or less water?
2. Soooo, what day do u stop putting water if u do?

First you need to get a hygrometer to measure your humidity. You can't just put water in without knowing your humidity. With this particular incubator I found filling 2 of the wells gave me 50%

Why can't you just pour the water through the holes you've lost so much heat and the humidity was lost you took to long.
you're going to get the eggs wet, if you pour it through the grate.

Its very difficult to maintain humidity in this incubator
When you set up the incubator I mark a spot on the floor that the eggs set on and I no the amount of water to add because I do everything ahead of time and I no how long the water will last..

@@biancaschafer1299 just pour in the required amount into the base. 100ml. Or used several Jar lids and pour the water into them. Then you can control the percentage of humidity
