THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! All that I could find was videos of dark eyes with lighter contacts. My eyes are green/blue/hazel and I have been wanting to see how they would look with brown contacts. So far, it looks like Honey is a good one to try. I cannot seem to find any safe contacts that would be a dark brown, which is what I was looking for.
Mine are are the same with a little more green then blue. So I went with the brilliant blue contacts to make my eyes bluer, they don't look really natural but I've gotten plenty of compliments on them
@@TimScottDT Same. More green than blue. I have the brilliant blue, gemstone green, and honey. The blue ones are a bit much but I should totally wear them anyway, now that you've said that! The green ones don't stand out at all. Almost looks just like my normal color. The honey ones are AWESOME! They have an erie glow to them and look so good. I posted a video of what they look like on my eye. 😁 Thanks for the reply!
Did you ever find dark brown contacts?
@@elanorfairbairn No. 😭 I seriously wanted dark brown like Bella in Twilight, not Halloween black or brown that wasn't dark. The brown from Air Optix doesn't look like it's that dark so I haven't tried it.
I’m in the same boat. The brown air optix turns out looking kinda hazelly- not chocolate brown as hoped.

This was perfect. I have green eyes but want to enhance them. Gemstone green would be perfect for this and so grateful they come with prescription too cause I HATE being stuck to glasses
So helpful! Hard to find color demos on light eyes. I would have also liked full face shots to see the effect of the color in real world view.
The coolest combo for Avery is definitely the Gemstone Green on one side and her natural blue on the other! So pretty.

This was an awesome video. What you always want to see and know, but somehow never can. Very cool. I actually just ordered the grey and the green just for fun with my fingers crossed that they will actually look good/natural on my naturally blue. eyes. Now I know they will. So cool.
If I usually wear toric lenses because I have myopia and astigmatism ; can I still wear colored contacts that only correct the myopia? For special occasion or only few hours a day. I mean, it is bad for my eye to do that?

I have a greenish blue color eye color and use the brilliant blue contacts
So ive wore air optix regular contact lenses for years and have never had issues with them and just ordered the turquoise colored contacts in air optix and have the exact prescription as my regular and i just tried them today and for some reason the first pair i put in i have blur spots around my eyes almost like it wont line up correctly so some of the inner color is partially over my pupil not all the way just very slightly how can i fix this as i ordered 4 pairs 😭 on top of it i cant notice a difference like your eyes with turquoise and i have blue/green eyes when i flipped them to see if maybe they were inside out the color showed way better but the blur spots still there

I have Keratoconus on both of my eyes I haven’t worse in my left eye is there any other way I probably won’t qualify because you keratoconus hope to hear from someone
Yesss! I used to have acuvue enhancements or something like that which was just a tint - the entire thing was just a translucent tint and they’re now discontinued , any recommend on new ones like this? I have light green eyes and i don’t want an opaque or printed contact.
There is a specialty line that you can get in almost any light tint like you described but I’d have to dig to remember what they are, we don’t order them very often!
Yep I used to wear the cibavision soft focus enhancers and they’re no longer made 🙁
@@EyeSchoolwithDrD were you able to look this up? Ciba enhancers were perfect for my light eyes. Nothing else looks natural and I have tried them all
I wanted to get prescription coloured contact lenses from Air Optix however I just wanted to know how long can I use them for since they're not daily contact lenses? Are they even reusable?

The problem is these dont look natural at all on darker eye color :/. I guess this is why soe many order from online pages as there is not really a current approded company that has colors that actually blend with dark eyes that look natural. They look very pixelated. ...
Yes that’s absolutely true! I wish they would improve the selection because these are so much healthier with a higher breathability than the online kinds.
@@EyeSchoolwithDrD I don't understand WHY people are so worried about WHAT LOOKS natural, they are just contact lenses, ( esp. women) wear false hair, boobs, butts, eyelashes, hair, etc, people care too much about what others think!, I have astigmatism, and I wear air optics color lenses, and I like them, at least I have had NO problems seeing, yes they were VERY expensive, but they were comfortable,etc, people want to pay less and yet have good quality, and in reality that is not always possible,( this is what I'm SEEING, There is a company called TTD( The Third eye) based in China, beautiful range and realistic colors, supposedly does prescription, I have thought about ordering from them awhile back, these online companies offered " affordable prices for pretty , realistic colored lenses( I've done lots of research) but these women don't realize that these companies will tell you anything to get you to buy their products, most of these women will make TH-cam videos showing how realistic and attractive these lenses are but I'm sure down the road they will have some sort of difficulty with their eyesight in the future, they are just giving these companies recognition to cause more damage later while their pockets are getting full, I'd rather pay alittle more and be able to see, so I'm staying with my air optics, even if they don't look "realistic" people care too much about what others think,.

Yes. Sorry just saw this message. What color eyes do you have? Mine are green. I have worn Acuvue 2 Caribbean Aqua for years and they are amazing! They last one month and there are 6 in a package. 3 pairs. If you have to correct vision like I do 2 packages must be purchased.

I don’t like those lenses i wish there was some lenses for light eyes which only enchance color and are comfortable...
