After "investigating" this Church for ~ 30 years, it was this talk that convinced me to get off the fence, and I was baptized one month later. "There are many paths to the top of Mount Fuji" and this path just works the best for me, and I will be forever thankful for Elder Holland's talk.....

I cried so much during this talk. It has renewed my testimony and added a deeper love for our church members and more importantly a greater trust and love for our Savior Jesus Christ.

Totally, I am giving a talk on it, because it moved me soooooo much. I hope that I can share it in the same spirit.

I'm So Blessed to be a Member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints! I believe that Jospeh Smith is and was the Chosen Prophet of our Heavenly Father.

I feel pretty good I have been doing this ever since I have been a member. I never understood why there was a lesson already prepared by someone that had never met the people I meet with. When I got the names I saw the people as my new friends and just spent time with them. But in order to be obedient and so my partners felt comfortable I would do it also the way we where told. My whole LDS Life I havr been home taught once, and that was when I was in a singles ward and I went to his house with my roommates to be home taught. I think that will not change sadly. That Honk and you have been home taught things seems like a very true statement.

Our local leaders have the same inspiration and insights. Give them a long chance, if you can find the time. I know local leaders have helped me. I've also felt the same thing you do about Elder Holland about Richard G Scott, but that's when my father-in law taught me about local leaders having the same inspiration.

If I honk, you've been home-taught. That is indeed a sorry statement.
