The title of this video was about painting night so I expected it to be about light in various ways. I was very disappointed that all the demo portion was just about perspective!! Perspective is important but nothing was shown about painting night. I am not inclined to get this video based on that. I would be concerned that it would take forever to get to the night portion. Unfortunately, the interview at the end, again, gave no info about painting night. He is obviously a very talented man with much information but this video did nothing to match the title. Very disappointing!!!

Hi Linda - Thanks for your feedback. Since the title of the video is called Painting the Night, we titled the free segment the same way. But, we'll work on getting more specific with our titles of free segments. This video is 7 Hours 45 Minutes and is a full painting demo of Gavin instructing on how to paint a nocturne scene. This was just a snippet of what you'll see in the full video.

@@artschoollive Thank you for your response. I did see the length of the video and saw the further promo bits that do show adding colour and I understand the reasoning of titling this video the same. The snippet chosen was the disappointment. I think you had talked with a different artist about colour at night. I was hoping to see instruction on that in this video to see if this is something I would like to try. My choice of medium is pastel. I like how occasionally you name some of your videos with "pastel" in them so I can zoom in to those ones!
