Thumbs up for giving the neighbor farmer potato bags simply in exchange for bags back when they get some in. No competition, no trying to profit off your neighbor. So many people these days can learn from the old school ideal of helping your neighbor out.

Hi guys n gals. We have been upping our chicken population as we are getting so many customers asking for more eggs. The egg prices here in Germany have become really high. we have raised our prices a bit as animal feed and upkeep isn't getting any cheaper. I have a 'pet' breeding bull he is a huge Angus roughly 1000kg. His mother died at birth and I hand raised my little Hercules. He is head honcho in our herd lol. We have a Holstein bull too as we breed our cows on our farm. That calf you showed is a keeper. A beauty that mix is quite rare..

I saw a local farmer post a facebook add offering fresh eggs. They had about 12 dozen sitting on a wooden table. The sign said to pay for them and put the money in the box. The honor system. I messaged them out of curiosity and they said they do not believe anyone has just pulled up and took a couple of dozen and left without paying. In fact, many times the box has more money in it then the stuff that was on the table to sell. The honor system. It amazes me that people respect the local farmer that much.
