I've been listening to this cover for years, especially while i'm working on big projects for school and stuff like that. This song was one of my mom's favorites from this game way back in the day. This cover is so beautiful and astounding, it brings me such immense feelings of nostalgia and happy memories of a long time passed. She has passed away sadly; I come back to this video time and time again when I'm feeling down and have her on my mind. You made such an amazing representation of this song, I find such beauty in creative expression. I agree that it's a great song in it's own right (maybe even my favorite from Brawl), but it fails to capture the tone and feeling of the original. This is where PPF stands head and shoulders above the rest. He captures all if it in a meticulous, high quality cover. Both are great, but in their own ways.

This is historic, but "Forest Interlude" is tied with this in my opinion. I have tears in my eyes each time I play that stage. The sounds in that stage is timeless and makes me feel like a kid each time I play that stage. This game in itself is timeless by the way too. 30+ years later and I'm still not over this game. So blessed to grow up in the 90s to be apart of this iconic era of video game masterpiece creation when it has a goal and passion behind it🎮

Nostalgia profunda. Ganhei o DKC2 de aniversário em 2013 quando completei 11 anos. Na época essa música me fazia pensar no futuro, em como eu, meus irmãos e amigos seríamos quando adultos, o que faríamos da vida quando a infância e a adolescência passassem. Hoje em dia ela me traz nostalgia e lembranças, das brincadeiras e momentos difíceis - meus pais separaram-se pouco depois - daquela época que jamais voltará mas sempre estará guardada aqui dentro. I listened to this song cover so much during freshman year of high school during quarentine. Though it was quite difficult then with all the odd-end pandemic regulations, there was a certain peace and quiet the world had then that just isn't quite around right now, as everything's busied back up again. Sometimes, when I'm feeling anxious or when I'm by myself, I listen to this song to bring a little bit of that calmness back.

Finding your cover of Stickerbush Symphony on Spotify was my introduction to this song as I don't think I ever made it to this level in Donkey Kong Country 2 before lending it to a friend only for it to not to return. I don't think Aquatic Ambience could be beat but your cover is absolutely beautiful and is one of my absolute favourite tracks in my Nintendo & Chill playlist.

0nirayju Source? They mostly have coders, a character designer and composers from the old Rareware. Their main designer is from the XBox era, and many of them are brand new to the industry. In contrast, Rare still has its head designer who came up with stuff like Banjo-Kazooie levels etc. working for them.
It's been a year since my last comment here, I'm getting older, soon I'll start evading taxes haha.... There are good and nostalgic memories that come to me when I hear this beautiful melody. This is historic, but "Forest Interlude" is tied with this in my opinion. I have tears in my eyes each time I play that stage.
The sounds in that stage is timeless and makes me feel like a kid each time I play that stage. This game in itself is timeless by the way too. 30+ years later and I'm still not over this game. So blessed to grow up in the 90s to be apart of this iconic era of video game masterpiece creation when it has a goal and passion behind it🎮

Honestly, can one find a better example of a musical remaster? It's the same but enhanced. Higher quality and every note honours the spirit of the original artist's composition. A skilled instrumentalist with zero need for self-aggrandizement just comes along and does something like this for the love of it? Phenomenal.

Na época essa música me fazia pensar no futuro, em como eu, meus irmãos e amigos seríamos quando adultos, o que faríamos da vida quando a infância e a adolescência passassem. Hoje em dia ela me traz nostalgia e lembranças, das brincadeiras e momentos difíceis - meus pais separaram-se pouco depois - daquela época que jamais voltará mas sempre estará guardada aqui dentro. É a música mais bonita que já ouvi, agradeço a David Wise por compor essa bela música que nos faz refletir sobre nossa existência efêmera na terra.

I used to play all three Donkey Kong Country games with my siblings, cousins, and even my grandmother at my grandparents house. Sadly, they’ve both passed on, but the soundtracks always bring me back to those wonderfully simple days. Thanks for creating this! 🥰
Isnt that so crazy how music from old games transport you right back to times past. Video game music has always done that with me. Especially the DKC soundtracks. Mostly the 1st and 2nd ones. I was 12 in 1994 when it came out. Got it for Xmas. Best Xmas ever🤗. Now I am old.

I grew up playing DKC2 with my brother and this song is such a great reminder of the times we played together. Loved this level and song in particular. You're cover is absolutely incredible, you've knocked it totally out of the park, 11/10!
I listened to this song cover so much during freshman year of high school during quarentine. Though it was quite difficult then with all the odd-end pandemic regulations, there was a certain peace and quiet the world had then that just isn't quite around right now, as everything's busied back up again. Sometimes, when I'm feeling anxious or when I'm by myself, I listen to this song to bring a little bit of that calmness back.

Tengo 35 y prefiero mejor Pc o Playstation.

Finding your cover of Stickerbush Symphony on Spotify was my introduction to this song as I don't think I ever made it to this level in Donkey Kong Country 2 before lending it to a friend only for it to not to return. I don't think Aquatic Ambience could be beat but your cover is absolutely beautiful and is one of my absolute favourite tracks in my Nintendo & Chill playlist.

In contrast, Rare still has its head designer who came up with stuff like Banjo-Kazooie levels etc. working for them.

I'm a nostalgic person and sensitive to music, I don't deny that listening to it brought back a lot of memories in my head. memories of my late uncle taking me to play video games outside the house, memories of disputes with my friends to see who finished the game the fastest, memories of rainy afternoons playing and especially: Memory of accessing the game's music menu to listen that. I just loved it and it was impossible sitting here at my job not to cry listening to it. Definitely a beautiful job! Congratulations!
