@dre27321 agreed. Anyone can run the games and see how it plays out, but its always nice to have some familiar faces. I think JJ and the dunker spot would provide some analytical commentary and some comedy if they sat down and watched it. I know the dunker spot did something like this with the allstar players for fun.

Well it should be an 8 team draft. Instead of these teams jj made. Everyone would want Curry on their team.
AFTER theres like 4 or 8 of these made, JJ should host a playoff bracket with them, and have fans vote on which teams win in head to head mstchups

These days nobody has a post game. So they don't think post players will dominate. In-shape Shaq would get 60+. Simply because in 10 minutes, one center will be out with 6 fouls. The next 10 minutes, the next. And then there really is nobody to stop him, BBQ every minute.
People salivating over Curry shooting off the screens of big body shaq... Buddy, you're forgetting big body Shaq manhandling players like Curry on the block, because there is nobody left to guard him.

JJ dropped the ball in not mentioning one thing with Shaq and Curry. Shaq setting offball screens for curry to get open would be absolutely devastating. Convincing shaq to do that also might be devasting to a coach.
Shaq was also a very underrated passer. Shaq hitting Curry woth darts coming off screens while hes getting doubled would be a sight to behold.
Nah. Shaq in the post. It's BBQ chicken the first 10 minutes against most centers... Maybe Embiid can hold up without fouling? Even that I doubt. Jokic doesn't have the footwork. Lopez or Sabonis looks like a best (but half) measure. Then the hamburgers get added. And the sauce. Because by then, it's Klay having to guard Shaq in the post -- the rest are already out with 6 fouls. Or wondering why they're lying in the second ring.
He did mention this, that's what a "pin-down" screen is. Shaq is the pin, and Curry's defender will be downed

If this series continues to grow and do well you should put these teams in NBA 2K and see what happens when you simulate the season. Appreciate you making this series and the thought you put into other than just grab the best player at every position and that you're limiting the times you can pick a player.
I would love to see this excercise done with the old greats like Bill Russel and Jerry West

Love this team. Absolutely love it.
My starters were Steph, Bobby Portis, Herb Jones, and Keegan Murray. I like the Markkanen choice better than my Portis pick; I was trying to save money for bench depth, but apparently it can work with Lauri. With Steph in the backcourt I wanted some defense, size, length, and complementary shooting.
As an aside, Tyus Jones doesn't get enough press; remember when Ja Morant was hurt last year and the Grizzlies had pretty much the same record with and without him? Tyus Jones was his backup. Then Jones signed with Washington, and now when Ja is hurt the Grizzlies are trash. They still have good players - JJJ and Bane are still there - but now the team doesn't function properly. Jones has been good but not amazing with Washington, pretty much like he was with Memphis; I think he probably needs talented teammates around him, but does a great job of maximizing them without needing to get his own stats. Curry and Shaq qualify as talented. Jones is literally the perfect backup PG for this group.

I love the starting five plus Gaff and Jones... Although I think Trey Murphy is solid, I feel like there could have been a better guy for that slot (Maybe more experience / a veteran). And I guess Williams is decent value for his contract, but give me Peyton Watson in that role. He is nimble, tall, dunks hard, has an attitude, and he's quick. Those things are perfect to pair with Gaff and to complement Shaq, especially when he's on the bench
This segment is particularly great because JJ is pragmatic about these lineups, as if he were a GM.

This segment is so much fun, but you gotta do something about the graphics.
- JJ doesn’t need to cover 80% of the screen
- have players placed on a half court with bench and include salary and total.

That starting 5 is one of the most dynamic and solid teams I could possibly imagine. Everything is matchup nightmare. This team only loses if someone designs a team to beat it. Actually insane how good this list is.

Would love to see a playmaking wing/ forward on this team to get Steph some better looks. Plus turnovers would likely be an issue. Scottie Barnes (high end), Bruce Brown (Moderate) and Dante Exum (Low end) could all be considered

This is great team but in my opinion it needs at least one in between guy off the bench who can shoot the middy. Someone like Malik Monk for example.

JJ should make a bracket with the NBA teams he’s building. And then have fans vote on it to see who wins. Maybe make it a season by season thing. Where he resets and builds ore teams and the champ from the last bracket has to go through the bracket again

I was hoping we’d get another one of these soon! I like this team a lot JJ I must say. My only contention is I’d maybe swap Tyus Jones for Mike Conley. Get a bit better at PG and let Steph run wild off the ball and not have to orchestrate everything. Not that he needs to run around much, Shaq would be getting quadruple teamed so Steph would have 30 feet of space to shoot lol. And with Shaq’s passing/ court vision( An incredibly underrated part of his game imho) GOOD LUCK.
