Steps to fix your device.
1. Start with the right side
2. Heat up the panel
3. Pry up on the panel carefully
4.Unhook the antenna
5. Break the old rivets holding the board down by heating them up
6. Remove the board and unplug it from its place
7. Remove the antenna under the board
8. Remove the LED plastic
9. Go to the left side
10. Heat up the side panel
11. Pry the panel up (BE CAREFUL THE BATTERY IS ON THIS SIDE)
12. Remove the tape off the clip
13. Remove the clip
14. Get your new neckband bit.ly/37hLpIy
15. Plugin the boards on both sides
16. Test the sound
17. Glue the unit back together
15. Get back to jamming out 🎵

But hey, I'm just writing this down so that it says something down here, because that's more professional right?) and if you're still reading along at this point you might as well sit down and grab some popcorn because this is about to trail on about how we are this premiere repair service located in Washington State North of Seattle in basically the "Armpit of the US" near Mt Baker (Mt Baker has the world record for most snowfall at 1,140 inches in a season).
All this to basically say that we are all addicted to coffee and stay in the warehouse for ridiculously long hours in order to keep up with the demands of the youth for these two-sided head audio devices and speakers that float when you throw them in the ocean or in your bathtub to test if they actually float. On top of that, we do like it when less stuff ends up in landfills so we hoard everything on shelves with wheels so that we pollute less, it just sits in our warehouse losing molecules slowly over time degrading to become smaller and smaller.
If you are still reading at this point you deserve an award, or a high five, or something because you must either be the most patient person on the planet, or you read blogs frequently. And if the latter is the case, then this whole thing must seem pretty short so let's keep going.

I'm not sure what is the issue with your piece, but I had an issue with the ribbon cable disconnected from the right mainboard which caused the issue. I had to open the protective cover on the right to find it out. Once I connect the ribbon cable back to the board, it was all good. :)

Do you have a video to repair the power/pair button? It has lost it's click. Is the purpose of heating to break the glue?
We do not. And yes, heating the glue will make taking apart the unit way easier

Great video and very clear ! On my QC30, the right earphone (the one with the controler) have been ripped off. I want to re-solder the 15 wires on the PCB but don't find any information about which color goes where. Is there a schema or a close-up picture somewhere ? Thanks in advance !!!

Hi The pcb have three lines of soldering points and first line is comes with 7 points middle line is 6 connection points last line comes with two pionts the top line (7 connection points line) left to right pin 1 naked red and copper colour twisted together wire . 2, black pvc insulated (from mic) 3,yellow 4, orange 5, white ( these tree are with pvc insulated) 6, pure copper colour twisted 7,gray( pvc ) 8, green copper twisted 9 pink copper twisted 10, green and copper colour twisted from white wire 11, green of the white wire 12, purple twised copper wire 13, brown twisted copper wire 14, green pvc insulated wire 15, blue pvc insulated wire I hope all this information is helpful to you if you looking for more pls reply ........

This unit appears to be the same footprint as the Bose HearPhones. No longer made, I would like to repair two sets I have, the batteries likely dead. Can I find replacement batteries for the HearPhones at your shop? TIA

Hi, does the new replacement band for the qc30 you are selling come with a new power button? Mine is busted.

The power button is integrated in to the neck band. I bought a genuine neck band. The USB cover and side flaps however are not, so you have to reuse those.

Do you do repairs on the qc30 hear phones? A friend has 3 pairs that have stopped charging. He says they're the best hearing aids he's ever used and if you can fix them, you'd make someone very happy.

hello. 9:12.....that piece wasn't on the old head band. what is it/where'd you get it?
i found it, but decided against using it because it seemed to be too much pressure on the on/off button at rest. now on to important part...shipping the rubber charger port cover with it already inserted into the band requires us to remove it so we can properly seat the board back into the band. Removing the rubber cap wasn't possible without tearing it. I recommendation not shipping the cap with it already inserted into the band.

@@Joesge Hi there. will this video be coming soon? There are many issues reported with QC30's not charging or turning on. Solid red light when charged. Do you know if this is likely a battery/battery connection issue?
@@aaronquigley3343 I found that the issue with mine was due to the ribbon cable disconnected from the mainboard, resulting in the solid red light when trying to charge.
I bought the product but the flag not work why because it not charging and turn on any more I thought could be my fault but I try it with the original neck band and work ok so the problems in my case was the product I already wrote you please help me

Hi there is to mic on the right side i am not sure which one you are looking for any way red and copper colour twisted together( with out pvc insulation) is pin number one on pcb and black colour pvc insulated wire is point number two of pcb (right to left 7 connections in one line on the pcb ,middle line is 6 connection ,last line is two connection, other mic wire is point number 10 ,11 on pcb that wire is white and there is two wire on white colour green with copper colour twisted goes to point number 10 on the pcb green copper wire from the white pvc goes to point number 11. and i hope now you got all the information if it is not enough pls reply ...

Hai In most cases the ribbon cable come out from the pcb socket on the remote side, open the socket lock and insert ribbon properly then try to turn on with power button. If it is not ok, may be the flat ribbon cable damage itself. so you have replace the outer neck band cover. This is available on amazon in lowest price..

I got the red light problem too when try to charge, n i found that the flex cable next to the power button loosen when i open it up using the method from this video. Connecting them solve the red light and it can be turn on again

The constantly looping music on this video is annoying. I had to quit watching.
Never buy this product as this has a design flaw. After some months you may notice noise coming out from the left earphone. The reason might be because this earphone has control panel on right side and left side is connected through the neck band. After some use of neck band itself you might notice getting disturb noise on your left earphone. I visited their store to repair it after one year and they can’t do anything unless you do trade with them to buy same new product where you get 20% off. Still you will get the same new design flaw earphone which might damage in couple of months. Worst product. Mic is also very bad. Only the good part I noticed is ANC. Personally I never recommend this design flaw product. Thanks.
We have not had to many issues with these ourselves.
i am absolutely agree with Amith. I got the f*** problem. Come to bose authorised service and they said the same tone with 20% off. Never recommend this design. It not deserve with 300$ at all

The other design flaw is the power button cover (the rubber bit) will fail and degrade, even with light use. I don't know if they improved this but as of a pair of Sept 2018 manufactured ones it has not been fixed.
yup this is why I am here, left ear piece suddenly failed and static along with white noise is just blasting out of it. thought it was an ear bud issue, idk if replacing this pit is worth it so I might just dump them from something else
