The Neumann interface looks great except for the touch screen, that seems not that good.

Not a specific product but a category. I love the 500 gear, makes me want to buy a 500 rack. I’m just using an X8P at the moment. Specially from the units from BAE and Empirical Labs. The stream deck is very interesting as well.
Some cool stuff there ssl orgin.. & the flock patch very nice units.

Neumann MT48, a game changer !

Not a lot of very new things but a very high percentage of those few things are things I need.
The isoaccustics wall mounts are just incredible and something in the back of my head since thinking about setting up a Atmos setup... but, even thinking for stereo set ups in small rooms this might be the answer also and then add to the ease of space management.
Cranbourne Audio and the 500 units they are begining to bring out will be just great for some of the channels on a looptrotter console
The neumann MT-48 I've been leaning towards more and more, still it's just part of a interface bucket in my head.
Proaudio Design I would love that to be in the budget.. the Atmos setup also in the colour design I would want but loving seeing the near field options now available.
Mojave are just great for the price.
Sontronics I loved their mics and good to see them making moves again.
Soundflow hopefully is the answer to simplifying work flow to get you head out of a calculator between decisions... something that I dislike about digital work flow... analogue clearly has the issues where there a literal wall when you hit a limitation but if this can give us the hands on a lot easier then I'm a million % in.
BAE is always the real deal...
SSL bringing some very welcome old new additions...
Emperical Labs with the Punch (mini destressors) in 500 and a lot cheaper another great thing for a few of the looptrotter console channels on the dynamic sections... super excited for this one.
Kali hitting up the higher end market is a promising thing... plus then this subwoofer... will want to see more on this...
SusEx peddle might be a interesting way to add more expression control... already into a lot of other things with extra expression control and this would be a good addition.
Flock audio having the means to make patch recall a instant operation... them having 48v phantom power just makes it the best patching system there is.
Soundparticals using my favourite expressive keyboard currently and making a exciting atmos production plugin!... them also with my idea of my budget for the speaker setup... iLoud MTM monitors.
Then they bring that very keyboard into subject... just perfect!!!
SoundRadix seems to want to make something I struggle with a lot easier...
The NEVE console... brilliant idea for adding EQ and Compression and making it worth it to have it... but my word, not in my price ranger and probably never lol.
Not the most packed NAMM show, but a lot of quality in the few.
Would love to be able to attend these shows one day, just lovely to get out there seeing what every company is doing

Mega cool. Hardly any boring moments. My absolute highlights: 1) Neumann Audio Interface 2) Mojave mics and 3) Soundflow . Most of the shown products I couldn‘t afford anyway (e. g. the telephone booth, the SSL Mixer Console and many others)

Yes! That's the only one they had unfortunately! The next one they are making is especially for Stevie Wonder!
Kali audio sure are impressive, I bought the gen1 LP-6 monitors two years ago for a pretty rag-tag home setup whilst doing a music production degree (just for a second reference set) and they are absolutely awesome. The university tends to favour Adam Audio stuff (which is also great) as they have sponsorships but honestly, these kali's compete with them even though they are nowhere NEAR the price.
Everything they do seems to just be amazing!

The TaqSim iOS app is awesome , I paused the video I downloaded it and I couldn't believe the quality of the sounds, how many different scales and rhythms it has etc, even in the free version. I have a workstation synth, some good libraries in my Mac and the app has a collection of sounds, scales and rhythms for ethnic music that is better than most of them. I love gear, microphones etc but this was the best discovery for creating music I made recently. Also I love that in the scales section you have + - the amount of cents for every note that it is not in the western system, I can put those values in my synth and make custom scales for playing maqams
All those shiny stuff I'd give a leg away for, but Auto-Align 2 got me hyped.

Nice to hear from the guy from the company Neumann bought for its audio interface, when I saw it first, I was immediately put off by its muted gold finish, and thought the thing was probably a toy, but he set me straight.

I’m not sure why William. I imagine they are still tweaking things. If it’s not quite ready to launch them it’s not ready! Best to have everything lined up perfectly! We’ve seen enough missteps recently after all! Haha

We only had limited time at each booth, BUT it was super cool. Some new features I would have to play with to figure out, but everything we love about SSL VCA except on steroids
Weird that so many German companies making music gear but very few german musicians in Top of music charts😁
The Flock guys don't share the signal measurements....... Is that bad? I mean, where are the professional analog measurements????? Crosstalk? Dynamic range? Noise? Current noise? Voltage limits? Frequency response? Nothing nowhere! BTW relays aren't do crosstalk, if you know how to design it. Many superior analog console is packed with relays. So, I don't understand why they choose solid state multipoint switcher chips and how they patented an existing technology.
Nice job Guys... re: soundflow... yea... no... macros and efx selection, bouncing, bulk processing... Reaper w the Extensions... mac/protools ? Nothings' changed at all... still more expensive than it should be... and still proprietary.
