Hey Warren! I did not get to NAMM this year so I am living vicariously through you LOL. It was so good to see you caught up with Freddy from HEDD audio. I'll be jealous if you get to visit the factory. I still love my original Type 20 monitors, they truely are awesome! On my wishlist - upgrade to the new HEDD Type 20 MKII Oh, and the sub of course since it would be perfectly matched. The MKII series has the Linerariser DSP built into each monitor.

I'm pretty curious about the Antelope Monitor. It is not really clear if it comes with a mic + calibration system or if we just have an app to dial it ourselves. Both option is ok though. I also saw that Antelope release their plugin as a native version like UAD which is a great thing.

I have one microphone Soyuz 1973, this is the most versatile microphone, it is well suited for recording heavy guitars, extreme vocals, pure vocals, bass drums, rooms, strings and other things. He has a very smooth frequency response.

Sadly, Warren, part of the problem of the marketing is the whole attitude of it's not vintage it's not good. And unfortunately, some of the TH-camrs and musicians play into that. It also give me the impression that the company isn't confident in their own products.

People too mean to small business, if it ain't amazing shiny new with leds all over it people scoff. You know what that message sends to people who might build you the product of your dreams? Why even try? Them start ups are the backbone of tradeshows and product innovation, capitalism at it's finest. People bust there butts to get a product to an event, you all need to show some respect to the small guys. Not everything there is for you.
