And the price of the 2021 Entegra Oydssey is $122,874. How many buying RV's like the 2021 Entegra Odyssey even do the math on alternative costs of owning a 2nd "vacation" home for comparision to RV purchase? I bought a Florida condo for $72,000 in 2019. It's now worth $100,00. Was the condo the better investment? I have had costs of $7,200 in association fees, and $3,000 in taxes and insurance or $10,200 per year. I have also spent $11,000 in renovating my condo, and another $4,000 on furniture. Total additional costs ( excluding variable costs such as mortgage interest, and utilities) in two years on the condo are $35,400. Looks like the sum total "invested" in the Florida condo is $135,400. Looks like my true costs for two years of condo ownership were $7,400. ($100,000-$72,000-$35,400) What would my resale value on a 2019 RV bought at $122,874 be today? Would my 2019 RV have depreciated 20% or $24,574? Should I assume that I would have spent $10,200 per year in "additional" costs like gas, insurance, taxes and space rental while camping in the 2019 RV for the last two years, or a total of $20,400? If so looks like my true costs for two years of RV ownership would have been $44, 974 ($98,300-$122,874-$20,400). It seems like the condo was the better investment if you can call being down only $7,400 a better investment. I like camping but RV's like the 2021 Entegra Oydssey are unfortunately for me way too expensive.
Thanks for sharing! Do you like the storage behind the TV or is it hard to access? Do you need to supplement with the Igloo cooler because the fridge is too small or is it just something you had?
So so, you just have to make sure to latch the tv right after… and we barely use it. I added a cooler for easy access to drinks.. bed is kinda high for me.. so i also added a foldable ottoman storage ..
