Thank God people video taped them and had the good sense to keep it. Now Stranger will live on, long after those of us who have had the pleasure to rock with them have gone.
Some of the VERY best memories of my life are from partying like an idiot at Stranger Shows. They will forever remain one of my ALL time favorite Rock bands. Ronnie Garvin was a hero of mine. Miss you Ronnie. These memories will live in us Stranger Fans forever.
I'm fifteen and ever since I was a little kid my mom played their music in the car. I so wish the music today was like this. Long live Ronnie and Stranger. I will learn to play this song if it kills me just to let this music live on. Love these guys to death. Keep rockin' Greg!!!!!!
Ronnie was such an awesome guitarist and Stranger has always been and will always be one of my favorite bands of all time! Man, I miss these guys. We used to go down to Orlando all the time just to catch their show. Thanks for sharing such gems with the rest of us Stranger fans!
These are the days i miss the most.your songs alwaysed stayed with me.you came to valdosta georgia packed the house and blew the doors down.and this was always one of my favorite songs. RIP: Ronnie
I regret that time of my life….. what an utter waste of time & money…. If I could only go back in time and smack the crap out of myself….. drinking, chasing hoes, smoking…..wasting money….
Loved these guys , one of the best bands ever, saw so many times in Augusta, Ga.....might be a fla band but this kid in Georgia saw um every time they came ....As LYNX too at the WHIPPING POST.....AUGUSTA
This is easily the best song on the "No Rules" album. I love this song. The guitars kick ass. I also like most of the other songs on the album as well. A lot of the newer generation don't know about this band or album, but if they heard this song, I'm sure they would love it. This song has such high fidelity and crispness to it that makes it sound even better.
Not only a great band but also they were very cool people. Whether they were at The Rock-It club, Yankee Rose, Porthole Lounge, Mr. T's/Club 19, Yellow Rose etc they always kicked a$$. We used to luv when people would yell/request cover songs and Gregg would go off!! (typically the only covers they'd do were Let There Be Rock and American Girl) RIP Ronnie G!
You can still buy Stranger albums on CD. There is a company that has reissued them all. If you search the net, you'll find them. Good luck. Stranger was the BEST!
thanks sooo much for uploading Bar,I moved to Fla in '95 saw them 3 times, porthole lounge, gasoline aley and their very last show at city winds, have all but one cd(no more dirty deals) that I bought from Greg himself,Ronnie is in my top 10 all time favorite guitarists with Randy Rhoades,Mck Mars....
I saw this band play many many times in Valdosta, Ga. They packed the house and had a hell of a show. Ronnie did his thing. You guys should have been there before you even comment. Rock on, Stranger Band.
Man does this bring back memories! These guys were the best! Got to hang out with them a little back in the day! Still see Greg & Tom now and then with GBB! Funny I know them and my friend knows the new drummer & guitarist! Small world!
It was so much fun going out back and hanging out in the tour bus after the shows in drew park Tampa Fla. Living in Georgia now Gregg wish I could see you again!
