The gunpowder explosion section reminded me of what happens when you explode too much TNT in Minecraft.
Wilson is a wannabe scientist, who one time literally made a robot, still does not know how to make a shovel.
Yet Wickerbottom who is a librarian knows how to do this and knows how to literally make a structure that attracts lightning with no scientific help, what kind of books was she reading?
He was busy inventing instead of learning the basics

Yea... I think Wilson should have at least science machine knowledge when spawning without needing one. Not only is he a scientist he also received forbidden knowledge from Maxwell, as we see in his cinematic.

I think it’s better that since he is the basic character of the game, he should have a basic perk. Like maybe gaining a bit of sanity when near science machines or alchemy engines, or any structure that is in the science tab.

Combined Status is one of those go-to mods that everyone has, it pretty much nulifies the need for a thermometer, and if you're rocking Global Positions too, no need for a cartographers table either, if you want a more vanilla experience go for it, but at least these two mods (plus one or another) are just too dang useful to ignore. Also beard, there's a mod out there called Lightning Rod Range Indicator, it's pretty much self-explanatory, it's a simple mod that just shows the active range of your zappy sticks about, i don't actually think you need this mod since their range is so huge anyways, but it's always good to know, and i use it regularly regardless

I have a suggestion for another guide the book tab when you play as wickerbottom play as her alot but I don't know what all the books do other than the crops book applied holiculture
End is nigh - summons lightning. Birds of the world - calls down a ton of birds. On Tentacles - Summons around 4 tentacles nearby. Sleepytime Stories - puts nearby mobs to sleep. Joy of Volcanology (Shipwrecked) - summons a load of dragoon eggs.

So i recently experienced how sucky monsoon season is in shipwreck. All this happened during 1 ingame day. It went like this
-flood
-everything stopped working
-wetness 100
-sanity 0
-health low
-nightmares spawning
-mosquitos
-hounds(conveniently)
-Tiger shark doing a super hero landing in the middle of my base and its almost night

Ah, the new crafting menu? Yeah, that's tough to get around to if you've been away a bit but that search bar should really make things super easy!
@@TheBeard777 I play on my steam deck. The annoying part about searching is it takes too much time when you have to search everything. I’m thinking I might open a new game just to familiarise myself with the new menu. Haha it’s annoying it doesn’t pause anymore when you go into the menu. That would be handy to look for things.

Hey beard, do a video about how bad the grass suite is and how much of a waste of resources, texture, 1 bit of space on your hard drive, and waste of programming to put in the game. And how much more improved the game would be if they just removed that horrible item, like come Klei. Id say dont starve is an amazing game without it, but addition of the grass suite in gunna bring that down to a good game.
