It will allow me to print all year as the leaves and flowers disappear in the northeast!

This is a great technique. I tried it with scrapbooking paper and it worked well.

Interesting idea and nice video. I was just wondering if this is really a sublimation process and or if the dyes in the origami papers are disperse dyes. If so, it seems natural that silk polyester would work much better than regular paper. I do dye sublimation using digital techniques but it only works optimally onto high percentage polyester materials.
    Thanks for sharing your ideas.👍

Hi Jane. What are the stencils made of? Are all bought stencils normally heat proof?

stencils are usually made from plastic and some are heat resistant more than others. I'm not sure there is anyway to tell the difference except to try one. (Or a small piece of edge that you have cut off of one.) I recently fried one and that was a first for me. It was very thin, so that may have had something to do with it. I know StencilGirl stencils are heat resistant as I have used them a lot.
