Classic game that i still to this day havent found all the secrets. Back in 1994 1995ish i would watch my dad play this game and he would let me play a little bit this game, Sim City, Ultima 7, Doom, Final Doom and Duke Nukem, XCOM are the classic games i remember playing back then.
I remember that I was about 15 years old ... letting my hair down, listening to Doors, Zeppelins, Floyd. Windows 95 and Pentium 133 without a sound card, Doom 2 and the world was mine ..

Thank you. I am always irritated that the companies are waiting so much time, energy and resources on graphics when their stories and gameplay are pathetic. Graphics are the absolute last thing on my list, so much so that I don't give a damn about them when considering a game. Can't we just keep it simple and just focus on making the gameplay better, please?
I hereby state i'm enjoying the brilliantly superb classic 90's The Ultimate Doom, Doom 2: Hell on Earth and Final Doom on PC, however, the game is labyrinthine as fuck. There's certain levels whereby it's too dark to see what's contained in the room or demons approaching and lauching fireballs at me, fortunately i utilize the map. If there wasn't a map in the 90's Doom series i'd therewith probably never have ever been able to complete some of the heavily immense labyrinth maze-like levels, there's plenty of them believe you me. There are a variety of video games i enjoy playing, however i'll certainly always visit the magnificent 90's era Doom series despite an unspecified proportion of levels being a pain in the ass at times. All of the satanic imagery and various demon enemies incorporated therein make Doom full of splendid incredible excellence to me.
Thanks for your comment. I must admit it was a difficult labyrinth to get it through, but in those good old days I managed to complete it with no map. Indeed, I spent a couple of months to reach the last level :)
@@Squakenet It's a pleasure. The levels in 90's era Doom series intimidate me lol, however, i therewith managed to complete The Ultimate Doom with the help and utilization of that automap, i'm now currently busy playing Doom 2:Hell On Earth. The various demonic enemies are certainly full of magnificent potent excellence, especially when they're attacking me in large groups, i enjoy it tremendously, but the labyrinthine levels themselves present me with a daunting task.
@@tomknokkel yeah, it will take a while to master it. Always try to find some place to rest and recharge, before attacking an other horde of deamons :)

I think you can change the keyboard mapping. Just execute the setup.exe or directly from main menu, look for key configuration.
Classic.
I like these graphics. I don't really like high graphics for games

@@worldrallychef9644 Picked but never used =)
jaja i used to play this game while playing the cd unit with a music cd jajajajajaja
Doom 1 & 2 are basically the same game with different maps lol
I think Doom 2 had some slight graphics improvement, and definitely a more tough gameplay.
Should I buy this game or not
Absolutely... and in this very moment is on offer on Steam... follow the link in the game description!
What's setting requirements to run the game ?
Dosbox, with default settings should be enough.
