- On July 9 at around 7:30 pm a person was electrocuted leading to major injuries. According to sources the cause of the incident was due to a transformer with a poor safety fence.

This chumukedima Electrical Department is very careless and negligence look how they install the transformer literally on the ground which is not safe for public specially for the kids.

Almost all Transformer's in Dimapur as far as i have seen aren't safe" They should put a fencing around it or hang the transformer's up high so that the proximal range of being pulled by the current is reduced" also yes it's also because of electric devices like phones and gadgets" wet body's" and sometimes power leak" this kind of incidents happen" which could happen to anyone" maa kasam i have seen not less than 50 cat's being dead around a transformer by now😅" we all know cat's are like Ninja yet they aren't immortal" hmm i feel and i strongly urge the power department to make sure such instances doesn't happen more than it should"
