I am a student from Jahangirnagar University. Recently, police entered the university campus and unleashed brutal violence, firing bullets and tear gas at protesting students. Many of our fellow students were severely injured. Unfortunately, all media coverage has been biased in favor of the government, disseminating false and baseless news while supporting the government's violent actions. Shockingly, more than 160 students were brutally killed, and those who dared to speak out against the government's brutality have been abducted by local terror groups allegedly supported by the authorities. The internet has been completely shut down to hide all the murders and violence beside leaving us unable to communicate or check on the well-being of our friends and fellow students. Here on campus, students no longer feel safe. We are united in our call for a free nation and demand the resignation of the dictatorial regime.

2. Internet was not stopped by gov first, it was shut down as a result of international prob.hope u know abt the microsoft problem. Then during protest some people (not the real student) burned the main server of BTRC, and 5 more places where sub cable comes out from ground.
3. Attacking the national TV, BTC-bangladesh road transport system, attack in health DG office, Burning down two metro station, attack on a district jail and looting the arms realising 875 people,110 of them has come back willingly as there sentence will finish soon, burning the Setu Bhaban (reguletory board of padma bridge and other big bridges) 55 cars, burning the city corporation 55 garbage collecting vehicle.... And the list goes on. R these the work of student protestor or some one else.

আসল ঘটনাটা হল, আমাদের সরকার এমন একটা নিয়ম চালু করতে যাচ্ছিল যেখানে সরকারি চাকরির ৫৭ শতাংশ একটি নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যক জনগণের জন্য বরাদ্দ থাকবে, সে তারা মেধাবী হোক বা না হোক। এটা নিয়ে আমরা আন্দোলন করছিলাম। আমাদের হাতে কোন অস্ত্র ছিল না। আমরা শুধু আমাদের অধিকার চেয়েছিলাম। আমাদের সরকার এটা নিয়ে আমাদের সাথে আলোচনা করতে পারতো আমাদেরকে বুঝিয়ে বলতে পারতো কিন্তু তারা সেটা না করে আমাদের উপর গুলি করল। তখন আমাদের আন্দোলন আরো তীব্র হলো। তারা আমাদেরকে মারতেই থাকলো আর আমরাও আন্দোলন করতে থাকলাম। আমাদের সরকার নিউজ চ্যানেলে বলছে যে তারা নাকি আমাদেরকে নিরাপত্তা দেওয়ার জন্য আইন কর্মকর্তাদের লাগিয়েছে কিন্তু পুলিশ রাই আমাদের উপর গুলি করছে। আমরা যাতে এই খবরগুলো বাইরের দেশের কাছে না দিতে পারি সেই জন্য এক সপ্তাহ ইন্টারনেট বন্ধ রেখেছে। এর ভিতরেও কতজনকে মেরেছে তার কোন ঠিক নেই। আমাদের সরকার কোন ভুল করলে আমরা যদি ভুল ধরিয়ে দিই তাহলে আমাদেরকে দেশদ্রোহী বলে। আমরা যদি সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে এই নিয়ে লেখালেখি করি তাহলে আমাদেরকে গ্রেফতার করে। হাসপাতালগুলোকে সরকার নির্দেশ দিয়েছে কতজন মরছে তার হিসাব যেন বাইরে না যায়। হ্যাঁ এভাবেই আমাদের কে নির্যাতন করা হয়েছে এবং হচ্ছে। দেশের বাইরে থেকে বিভিন্ন চাপ আসার কারণে সরকার মুখে বলছে তারা আমাদের দাবি মেনে নিয়েছে, কিন্তু এটা তারা যেকোনো সময় পরিবর্তন করে দিতে পারে। এত কিছুর পর আমার দেশের সরকারকে একটি ডাইনি ছাড়া আর কিছুই মনে হচ্ছে না।

I am a BRAC university student mentioned in the video. This university is among the top 3 ones in Bangladesh. One student from another college died in our campus from the attacks. We saw helicopters surrounding us, landing on our rooftop even though there's no helipad but a field-like grass patch/green-lawn. As it's a private university, many students here doesn't wish or need for a govt. job. Yet they are showing immense bravery to save this country, its people. They are fighting for their brothers and sisters. Nonetheless, our university authorities along with other institutions' students tried to protect us and helped the injured ones during these attacks. This is what love for a country/patriotism is, not what the govt is doing then calling us anti-national. But:
1. Our students should take initiatives intellectually at this moment being very careful and not emotionally as they are doing crooked politics. This govt should be taken down.
2. Even if this govt is defeated, another corrupted one will take over. Where's the end?
3. We should work individually on ourselves, physically, spiritually, intellectually, philosophically. And when we will reach a place to influence people, we can influence for the good.
4. We need to value, support, appreciate deserving and good leaders. The honest ones should be cherished and taken care of.
5. There's only room for actions. Well-planned actions. If we are to bring justice and give people a corruption free land, we have to be mindful and commence to work on it, on ourselves, our minds, our souls.
Afterwards, connect & build communities with like-minded people.
Even though we need to teach ourselves, study certain things on our own and unlearn some as well, there's no limit to learning.
