I’m stuck in a gluttony cycle that I can’t seem to stop. Along with horrendous procrastination. Always telling myself I’ll start tomorrow. Well I’m now over 500lbs at 38 years old. No job. Full of debt. Living with my parents. All because of GLUTTONY. I’m no different than a drug addict or alcoholic who lost it all because of their addiction. I believe to overcome such an addictive stronghold will take practice and some form of intensive behavioral therapy. I need the anecdote.
I think we all fall for some sort of addiction. The only problem is that eating is an acceptable addiction like the video says. Its not easy but youll make it through. I weighed myself this morning and I weigh 323 lbs. I started a Keto diet two months ago when I realized I weighed 365. It was nearly impossible the first week but I stuck with it and the results are worth that struggle. If you ask God for strength through your process He will provide for you. Best of luck on your journey.
Best of wishes to both of you. The journey can begin with a healthy understand of our relationship to food as provision from God. Hopefully this channel can give you some basic resources for getting started 🙏🏽
Don't give up take one day at a time Intermitting fasting is the way to go and when you do eat let it only be fruit and vegetables for a few days then for a short time eat brown bread and cereals You must be disaplined, obedient and persistent induring every thing until each day you master it a little bit more... You will reach your goal IF you continue to keep your eyes on what Jesus did for you on the cross Study the gospel until you get a deep revelation of what the cross cost Jesus HE DIED SO YOU CAN GO TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE keep that in mind every time you feel like over eating because it is a sin to be a gluten Be blessed with knowledge and wisdom to know our God and Jesus Christ who He sent
Excellent talk .... the congregations are not talking about this ... big mistake. I have been attending Sugar and Carb Addicts Anonymous phone meetings just to have fellowship with others who are seeking not to over eat or eat the things that defile our bodies .... although others at the meeting to not call it "defiling the body".... I want to conquer the demon of gluttony and live in victory. We are commanded to not give into this .... its a beast of a problem. Thank you for such a great talk on this.
I think two meals a day is sufficient and then snack on black olives, dark chocolate in between. In those tow meals makes sure you are getting your meat, veg and wholegrains keeps you full for longer.

Thank you.
Gluttony is far more than overeating. It is the mother of covetousness. The entire american culture and economy is gluttonous.
Gluttony, is over eating or selfishly gorging food. Not eating McDonald’s we should eat better.😊
