Yeah but GER is a hax that shuts down other hax. GER is a force of fate itself that nothing can bypass. And if Giorno with GER stands against Goku, Goku is more likely to admit defeat first.
As you're just recently getting into JoJo, I can see where you're coming from. But as a long time JJBA fan myself, and also a long time and huge DB fan, I can confidently say it's not even REMOTELY close. GER's stats are in fact limited when it comes to beings stronger than itself. Such is the case in the game Eyes of Heaven (even though non-cannon it is still consistent with GER as a stand and its abilities and so is a proper reference), where The World Over Heaven easily handles GER's RtZ and attacks with effort as minimal as it gets. And this was also while dealing with the series other strongest stands in a 1v3; those being Tusk A4, Star Platinum and GER. GER would really only prevail in a fight where the opponent is less than or equal to itself. And with just how strong Goku is, GER wouldn't be able to react in time, and even if it did, Goku would simply overpower it entirely. As to defend Giorno, it would likely have to put itself in front of an attack to block it, considering that Giorno is just another human (albeit a durable one since he's the part's MC) and cannot even DREAM of trying to block or evade the attack himself. Saying the fight is overkill would be a MASSIVE understatement. But regardless of that tangent, Giorno would be another victim to Goku blatantly ignoring hax because he's simply too strong. (Also before anyone gets the idea, no. The World Over Heaven doesn't touch Goku either. I love that stand but it's massive cope to say it's even DECENTLY capable. It, a full and successful heaven ascended stand, had its hax overpowered by a PARTIALLY heavenly awoken Star Platinum. And I don't need to discuss anything more than the hax, because the hax are the only talking point whereas the other attributes of the stand blatantly fail to Goku.)

Been thinking about this for a very long time but I think his stand have a small radius. The reason why I said that is because of the event of the next part, if he could reset anyone to zero and have infinite range, the end of the next part wouldn't have happened. Even tho this isn't cannon, dio heaven was so strong that he was able to shrug off giorno's stand. Last thing but, things get very interesting when you put him up against people that truly control fate (like characters from the Fate Series). The stand is very powerful but that's mainly because we only seen it once, if we saw it used more, when can then find the flaws.
MIH only accelerated time,GER gets activated when Giorno is in danger. Also the stand arrow dropped after the requiem scene so we don't even know if he still has it.
You should make some jojo what ifs, expanding to other series would be fun. You could also go ahead and do some crossover what ifs if you really wanted to😊

(Before watching btw im just tossing out my opinion on the matter) I mean Goku does have higher dimensional A.P and D.C, heck he can be argued to TRANSCEND DIMENSIONS! He has surpassed time itself as stated in guidebooks and he surpassed Jiren who was stated to surpass time by Vados, he also has Hakai which is existence erasure and can be argued to have immeasurable speed thanks to surpassing time and being able to dodge DKP's Explosive magic light cannon attack which iirc was stated to be instantaneous. Also Dragon Ball characters bypass hax with sheer strength and power, Goku solos imo.

Would you consider doing a what if where jojo characters are in dragon ball? I could see this in 2 different scenarios 1) where the main jojo characters are a part of the series and jotaro would likely be the main protag, and human with the dtand users growing to a dragon ball human level. And 2) which is more fun where jotaro is a saiyan and grows up with granola as an assassin (kind of a U7 Hit) and let's say a joseph is a distant relative to jotaro, making the early joestars saiyan hybrids and also a way to make jotaros rage even stronger with star platinum. The 2nd one is a lot more detailed and confusing. However I do think it'd work great.
Have you thought about doing Jojo What Ifs before? I think there's a lot of good potential with the storytelling there, for example an idea I always had was something similar to your "What If Universe 6 and 7 Merged" and it was "What If Both JoJo Universes Merged" where you have the events of both the main universe and SBR-verse occur. Some examples of things include making it so Dio is born with a brother named Diego, the Joestar family having two more children Johnny and Nicholas, though I feel like Nicholas would die shortly before Phantom Blood. Combining the two Moriohs would also be crazy especially with Part 8 being a "Part 4.5" due to it just taking place in Morioh again. There's a lot of potential of what you can do here, you can have two versions of a character exist simultaneously, you can combine certain characters into one like Johnny's father and Johnathan's father into one character, or just use one over the other. But sadly, I legit do not have the writing skill to make this work as well as I'd want to. Though the start of it does feel really interesting as you'd have the events of Phantom Blood shortly followed up by the events of Steel Ball Run, which then would lead into Battle Tendency.
Jojo what ifs have always seemed iffy as they could all easily be explained fast or if you were to just go for multiple part stories be boring in some ways as it’d be a retelling with slight changes cause Jojo is a lot more linear in story than Dragon Ball
The video is old, but there are some misconceptions on both Stands, JoJo logic and DBS stuff (this is debatable since it isn't completely defined). First, a lot of JoJo characters have massive faster than light feats and large mountain level of strength, like Polnareff reacting to light and Star Platinum punching weather so fast and with so much force that it's pressure explodes vertically (in a really large pipe), and in-verse, characters who have stands are far stronger and more durable than normal people because of their divided dmg with the stand (obviously not comparable to DB). Goku doesn't "overpower hax", we see him surpassing Ki-based powers, and not Hax, he could both break a Ki-based time stop and an attack created with destructive energy. He couldn't resist a proper Hakai, as Beels still threatens him with it, and no character has shown being able to resist a direct Hakai from a God of Destruction, no resistance at all. We've saw Destruction-Ki on some instances, like with Toppo, but it ain't a Hax like 'Hakai' or Zeno's power. As an example of proper Hax in DB, that it couldn't be resisted, we have Guldos Time stop, where all characters were immensely faster and more powerful than him, but Time Stop was still effective. Or stuff like Body Change and Wishes. We do see characters on DBZ break through dimensions tho, so it can be said that they can overpower 4th dimensional powers, and Hax based on it. Like Giorno's power. So, imo, Goky stills wins easily but not because he "overpower hax", but because characters on DBZ could already break through 4th reality and 'dimensions', also, JoJo characters are a whole lot stronger than people think. Also, Goku was shown being able to fight without seeing his opponent in Classic, and Gohan in DBS fought a opponent while being blind and with reduced senses, still was able to react so fast it didn't matter. So GER being invisible would just be a little nuisance.
Hits time skip ability is litteraly a hax. Goku in the manga just over powered it. Prove that hits time skip isn’t a hax. Also prove that hits rematch with Goku wasn’t a hax either

the problem With RTZ is that it scales to GER's respective reaction time, since people fall under the misconception that king crimson is actually erasing time itself which is wrong, as seen in TE events still happen within TE. if they were erased then every jojo character, including regular humans would all operate at inaccessible speeds, which would make abilities like time erasure and time stop useless since everyone was already moving without time, what king crimson actually does is erase the perception of time passing for everyone but diavolo while making him intangible. The reason im even bringing this up is the fact that this would cause GER's usage of RTZ to be linked to its reaction time, since RTZ isn't an automatic response since diavolo even saw that in his premonition he was still faster than GER, which also kind of presents a problem for GER having infinite speed because it wouldn't be that much faster than light speed if king crimson was faster than it but doesn't have any showings of infinite speed. All and all, the point im trying to make is that RTZ is tied to GER's speed which is FTL bare minimum, meaning that goku would unironically be able to stop RTZ from activating by simply killing/incapacitating giorno before GER could react to goku's attacks
Three things that are important to consider: 1. The power scaling in JoJo part 5 is far lower than the likes of Dragonball. As far as JoJo is concerned, GER can undo "anything" thrown at him by other Stand Users at that point There weren't any overwhelming Stands that could bend reality (apart from Chariot Requiem, whose power could potentially bypass GER's passive, but was already defeated by then). 2. Either GER isn't always active, or it can't counter a power that encompasses an area beyond a certain range. Otherwise, GER would've targeted Made in Heaven when the world was being sped up. 3. GER can be overwhelmed. In the story for Eyes of Heaven, Dio Over Heaven could nullify GER's attacks with a wave of his hand. It might only be semi-canon, but as an official game it's worth considering.
So there is 2reasons it didn't reverse mih ability. 1. Mih isn't attacking giorno therefore ger doesn't need to do anything because his user is under the threat of an attack. As we know giorno doesn't even know about his own requiems stand ability and ger acta upon itself 2. This is just an assumption but it would make sense for the requiem effect to be temporary but this is just a theory
Games are not canon at all, and made in heaven literally rewrote reality so ger wouldn't work. That's how broken his stand is but as we know we should consider games canon. Would you consider super dragon ball heroes or dragon ball legends canon?

Okay now I think 2 things will happen. GER doesnt kill (idk what it says in the manga). Remember what trish said after diavolo was blown away? She could still sense him. Also GER doesnt kill it just cuts to another dimension the millsecond the person is about to die, and Giorno doesn't know the difference between GER and Golden Experience. GER tells us that. With that out of the way. 1. Goku will try to hit GER(bcz GER activates only when in danger[EVEN IF U JUST THINK IT FOR A SEC] ) but GER is like "No, Reset" over and over which leads to 2. 2. GER will try to hit Goku but Goku will keep dodging till he gets tired. GER stamina is .. none(I suppose its like unlimited- immeasurable) it cant be 0.
The real biggest issue is how few feats GER has, like he was able to react in skipped time, and reset all attacks that were thrown at him in his canon verse, with the only thing surpassing him if we count the games as canon being the world overheaven, who is a reality warper. We don't know his real limits, and all we can do is base it on what we have already seen and scale him above that, but the issue still is that stands in jojo aren't that strong destructively, no where close to being planetary, and speed wise, ftl is their rough ball park which isn't even impressive by dragon ball standards anymore. The only actual way i could see GER beating goku in a legit fight might be if GER has golden experience's abilities since one of them is the ability to send an attack back to the attacker, if the attack hits one of the animals that GE makes. Either case due to how vague GER is this is a hard match up to determine, with giorno at best stalemating. Also I don't really buy the logic of dragon ball that being stronger than your enemy would shut off hax, unless the series the character came from had the same caveate, like imagine a guy who can warp reality not being able to affect goku cause goku is more buff than he is, that is a dumb cop out, since power is a hard thing to measure cross verse.

So first of I think the reverting will is shown with diavolo not acting the second time GER attack after ge revert the action but for my opinion I think technically goku won't be "acting" on his own with MUI the problem is Goku really like pacing himself so if it is a fight GER could go through at the very start of the fight
I think the main problem with the possibility of Goku outspeeding GER is that GER doesn’t operate on time, it operates on the soul directly by returning the soul’s state to zero (willpower, intent to attack, life status, etc.) so it’s not that it’s manipulating time, it’s just not restricted by time or space at all in any way. There is no time required for it to activate, so GER is incalculably fast. This fight definitely ends in a stalemate, because most likely GER is not powerful enough to even scratch one of Goku’s hairs, but it’s hax are so insanely busted that Goku would never even have the chance to attack in the first place. Nobody wins
I like to think Goku would "see" G.E.R. Not in details or anything, but i think he would be able to feel its presence well enough and see a golden sillhuette near Giorno. At the bare minimum, i believe he should feel it, since its is a mass of energy. Also, if Ki attacks could work, nothing would be stoping Goku from giving a bunch of Ki to his hands. However, Goku's sheer speed actually gives him a win condition: go to the other side the planet, blow it up and teleport away. While Goku would certainly not do as such, it is still a possibility. G.E.R's R.T.Z probably wouldn't work, since it didn't automatically work on Pucci's MiH. I assume it's because he was too far/unware of what was happening. Which is weird regardless of this debate: if G.E.R's stats "do not need to be compared to other stand's", including speed and range, and since it's theoretically automatic, it should reasonably stop MiH. Yet it didn't. And that to me is one of many proof Part 6's ending is the absolute worst written moment in JoJo. With people like Rohan and Giorno around you'd think a fast gay priest wouldn't be too hard to stop. I suppose Pucci does master his unadultered swagger of the ultimate Ohio priest. Shouldn't have expected less.
The reason why GER didn't activate with made in heaven is because made in heaven wasn't directly damaging Giorno in any way I'm pretty sure,if the stand had causes any damage to him it would of activated.
Imo its gonna be a statemate, even if Goku could be faster and is WAY stronger, Giornos Hax are the only reason he would be alive, and as long as hes alive, GER will still be activated, meaning Giorno wont die at all. Maybe Giorno could win if Goku looses all his stamina while tryna kill Giorno but most likely it would be a stalemate. Though if GER had some of his other abilities his weaker counterpart used, he could win since he would just heal Giorno if he got hit with a ki blast and create lifeforms, that if Goku tries to destroy, would kill and destroy Goku instead, but sadly GER was never shown using those moves his weaker form uses, so its gonna be a statemate unless GER can use those abilities, which then Giorno wins since... Goku is Goku and he would definitely try to kill those lifeforms GER creates that, again if you kill, you die with it. EDIT: Just remembered Giorno did heal after using the requiem arrow so he can heal and he did create lifeforms out of rocks, but those lifeforms didnt kill Diavalo after getting hit, so maybe Giorno wins if he can make those lifeforms kill Goku if they get hit with any strong attack directed towards them
simply what happens is Goku hakais Giorno and he dies. Simply put if a hakai can destroy an immortal being and a gag character who defies all logic, then it can destroy a stand that defies all logic.
Short Answer/s: -If Giorno manages to get a hit with requiem of he might be able to trap goku in a loop of death -If Goku and Giorno meet in a straight up fight, Goku, even classic db could speed blitz him easily without even giving Giorno time to react, but i could see Goku giving him a free hit which could he his downfall -depends on who writes the story in which the battle happens.

i think characters in Dragon Ball started to be faster than light in the Buu Saga: I made some maths (that are probably wrong) and the closest i got was Buu Saga's Power levels to compare to light lets imagine a normal human has a power level of 5 a normal human that ocassionally trains has a power level of 10 a human that trains everyday has a power level of 20 and the strongest human in the world has a power of 30-80 Usain Bolt would be in the 20 power level group so Usain Bolt can run at 42km/h, and the speed of light its 1,080,000,000km/h so light its around 240,000,000 times faster than Usain Bolt so, 20 x 240,000,000 = 4,800,000,000 power level needed to go at the speed of light (atleast) In the Buu Saga Goku with SSJ3 had a higher power level than 4,800,000,000, so only in that Saga he could reach speed of light, and thats only DBZ Goku in SSJB Kaiokjen x20 could move at a decently fast inside of a time stop, thats probably enough to be considered infinite speed in DBS he could probably go infinite speed in Ultra Instinct because the gap between DBZ Goku and DBS Goku its fucking stupid, probably Goku's base in DBS its stronger than Vegito from Buu Saga at max power I just wasted 30 minutes of my life doing maths about something that doesn't even exist and probably no one will see

Giorno could just choose to make GER not intangible to block the blast, which seems to just be a mental command. I also want to mention that it’s stated by Polnareff, who’s studied the arrow, that ‘Requiem is the power over souls’. So, the big question isn’t ‘can Goku beat GER?’, it’s ‘can Goku guard an attack against his soul?’. I’d say he probably has some training from Kami that pertains to that, Kami _did_ teach a bunch of spiritual stuff so....
Honestly the ideal outcome would be that Giorno GER would revert the fate to never let them meet each other bc both of them have no way of defeating each other. MUI could kill Giorno but GER would make it never happened. GER couldn't kill MUI Goku bc MUI Goku is simply too strong even squeezing Goku heart from inside wouldn't work since MUI would automatically protect it.
@@om9959 we don't exactly knew how GER work other than altering the "truth" to protect Giorno for example, It jinx with King Crimson ability making his Time erasure didn't happen allowing Giorno to land fatal blow on him. However, due to how MUI power scaling is so massive that simply altering few truths won't allow GER to land a fatal blow that strong enough to kill Goku or get Giorno to safety during the fight. RTZ meaning the nullification of the attackers action if Giorno is in danger, death loop is when GER hits the person putting them in a loop of endless death, RTZ wouldn't even let Goku touch Giorno
I believe you forgot about base golden experience power, he can literally give another person so much life force they are stuck in a trance and that it can turn inorganic objects to living things. And if someone were to damage those objects, that damage is then reflected on the attacker. So if giorno somehow outspeeds goku, he can trick goku into hitting himself. At least i think the match woudl come to a stalemate or giorno winning.

As you're just recently getting into JoJo, I can see where you're coming from. But as a long time JJBA fan myself, and also a long time and huge DB fan, I can confidently say it's not even REMOTELY close. GER's stats are in fact limited when it comes to beings stronger than itself. Such is the case in the game Eyes of Heaven (even though non-cannon it is still consistent with GER as a stand and its abilities and so is a proper reference), where The World Over Heaven easily handles GER's RtZ and attacks with effort as minimal as it gets. And this was also while dealing with the series other strongest stands in a 1v3; those being Tusk A4, Star Platinum and GER. GER would really only prevail in a fight where the opponent is less than or equal to itself. And with just how strong Goku is, GER wouldn't be able to react in time, and even if it did, Goku would simply overpower it entirely. As to defend Giorno, it would likely have to put itself in front of an attack to block it, considering that Giorno is just another human (albeit a durable one since he's the part's MC) and cannot even DREAM of trying to block or evade the attack himself. Saying the fight is overkill would be a MASSIVE understatement.
But regardless of that tangent, Giorno would be another victim to Goku blatantly ignoring hax because he's simply too strong.
(Also before anyone gets the idea, no. The World Over Heaven doesn't touch Goku either. I love that stand but it's massive cope to say it's even DECENTLY capable. It, a full and successful heaven ascended stand, had its hax overpowered by a PARTIALLY heavenly awoken Star Platinum. And I don't need to discuss anything more than the hax, because the hax are the only talking point whereas the other attributes of the stand blatantly fail to Goku.)

Been thinking about this for a very long time but I think his stand have a small radius. The reason why I said that is because of the event of the next part, if he could reset anyone to zero and have infinite range, the end of the next part wouldn't have happened.
Even tho this isn't cannon, dio heaven was so strong that he was able to shrug off giorno's stand.
Last thing but, things get very interesting when you put him up against people that truly control fate (like characters from the Fate Series).
The stand is very powerful but that's mainly because we only seen it once, if we saw it used more, when can then find the flaws.

MIH only accelerated time,GER gets activated when Giorno is in danger. Also the stand arrow dropped after the requiem scene so we don't even know if he still has it.
Keep in mind all stands can phase through objects as well as demanifest. GER can just phase through goku and crush something, like his balls.

He has surpassed time itself as stated in guidebooks and he surpassed Jiren who was stated to surpass time by Vados, he also has Hakai which is existence erasure and can be argued to have immeasurable speed thanks to surpassing time and being able to dodge DKP's Explosive magic light cannon attack which iirc was stated to be instantaneous. Would you consider doing a what if where jojo characters are in dragon ball? I could see this in 2 different scenarios 1) where the main jojo characters are a part of the series and jotaro would likely be the main protag, and human with the dtand users growing to a dragon ball human level. And 2) which is more fun where jotaro is a saiyan and grows up with granola as an assassin (kind of a U7 Hit) and let's say a joseph is a distant relative to jotaro, making the early joestars saiyan hybrids and also a way to make jotaros rage even stronger with star platinum. The 2nd one is a lot more detailed and confusing. However I do think it'd work great.
Have you thought about doing Jojo What Ifs before? I think there's a lot of good potential with the storytelling there, for example an idea I always had was something similar to your "What If Universe 6 and 7 Merged" and it was "What If Both JoJo Universes Merged" where you have the events of both the main universe and SBR-verse occur.
Some examples of things include making it so Dio is born with a brother named Diego, the Joestar family having two more children Johnny and Nicholas, though I feel like Nicholas would die shortly before Phantom Blood.
Combining the two Moriohs would also be crazy especially with Part 8 being a "Part 4.5" due to it just taking place in Morioh again.
There's a lot of potential of what you can do here, you can have two versions of a character exist simultaneously, you can combine certain characters into one like Johnny's father and Johnathan's father into one character, or just use one over the other. But sadly, I legit do not have the writing skill to make this work as well as I'd want to.
Though the start of it does feel really interesting as you'd have the events of Phantom Blood shortly followed up by the events of Steel Ball Run, which then would lead into Battle Tendency.
Jojo what ifs have always seemed iffy as they could all easily be explained fast or if you were to just go for multiple part stories be boring in some ways as it’d be a retelling with slight changes cause Jojo is a lot more linear in story than Dragon Ball

I have a feeling this dude is trying to cook up a scenario where what if dragon ball characters had stands or something along those sorts
The video is old, but there are some misconceptions on both Stands, JoJo logic and DBS stuff (this is debatable since it isn't completely defined).
First, a lot of JoJo characters have massive faster than light feats and large mountain level of strength, like Polnareff reacting to light and Star Platinum punching weather so fast and with so much force that it's pressure explodes vertically (in a really large pipe), and in-verse, characters who have stands are far stronger and more durable than normal people because of their divided dmg with the stand (obviously not comparable to DB).
Goku doesn't "overpower hax", we see him surpassing Ki-based powers, and not Hax, he could both break a Ki-based time stop and an attack created with destructive energy.
He couldn't resist a proper Hakai, as Beels still threatens him with it, and no character has shown being able to resist a direct Hakai from a God of Destruction, no resistance at all. We've saw Destruction-Ki on some instances, like with Toppo, but it ain't a Hax like 'Hakai' or Zeno's power.
As an example of proper Hax in DB, that it couldn't be resisted, we have Guldos Time stop, where all characters were immensely faster and more powerful than him, but Time Stop was still effective. Or stuff like Body Change and Wishes.
We do see characters on DBZ break through dimensions tho, so it can be said that they can overpower 4th dimensional powers, and Hax based on it. Like Giorno's power.
So, imo, Goky stills wins easily but not because he "overpower hax", but because characters on DBZ could already break through 4th reality and 'dimensions', also, JoJo characters are a whole lot stronger than people think.
Also, Goku was shown being able to fight without seeing his opponent in Classic, and Gohan in DBS fought a opponent while being blind and with reduced senses, still was able to react so fast it didn't matter. So GER being invisible would just be a little nuisance.

the problem With RTZ is that it scales to GER's respective reaction time, since people fall under the misconception that king crimson is actually erasing time itself which is wrong, as seen in TE events still happen within TE. if they were erased then every jojo character, including regular humans would all operate at inaccessible speeds, which would make abilities like time erasure and time stop useless since everyone was already moving without time, what king crimson actually does is erase the perception of time passing for everyone but diavolo while making him intangible.
The reason im even bringing this up is the fact that this would cause GER's usage of RTZ to be linked to its reaction time, since RTZ isn't an automatic response since diavolo even saw that in his premonition he was still faster than GER, which also kind of presents a problem for GER having infinite speed because it wouldn't be that much faster than light speed if king crimson was faster than it but doesn't have any showings of infinite speed.
All and all, the point im trying to make is that RTZ is tied to GER's speed which is FTL bare minimum, meaning that goku would unironically be able to stop RTZ from activating by simply killing/incapacitating giorno before GER could react to goku's attacks

Three things that are important to consider:
1. The power scaling in JoJo part 5 is far lower than the likes of Dragonball. As far as JoJo is concerned, GER can undo "anything" thrown at him by other Stand Users at that point There weren't any overwhelming Stands that could bend reality (apart from Chariot Requiem, whose power could potentially bypass GER's passive, but was already defeated by then).
2. Either GER isn't always active, or it can't counter a power that encompasses an area beyond a certain range. Otherwise, GER would've targeted Made in Heaven when the world was being sped up.
3. GER can be overwhelmed. In the story for Eyes of Heaven, Dio Over Heaven could nullify GER's attacks with a wave of his hand. It might only be semi-canon, but as an official game it's worth considering.
So there is 2reasons it didn't reverse mih ability.
1. Mih isn't attacking giorno therefore ger doesn't need to do anything because his user is under the threat of an attack. As we know giorno doesn't even know about his own requiems stand ability and ger acta upon itself
2. This is just an assumption but it would make sense for the requiem effect to be temporary but this is just a theory
Games are not canon at all, and made in heaven literally rewrote reality so ger wouldn't work. That's how broken his stand is but as we know we should consider games canon. Would you consider super dragon ball heroes or dragon ball legends canon?

Okay now I think 2 things will happen. GER doesnt kill (idk what it says in the manga). Remember what trish said after diavolo was blown away? She could still sense him. Also GER doesnt kill it just cuts to another dimension the millsecond the person is about to die, and Giorno doesn't know the difference between GER and Golden Experience. GER tells us that.
With that out of the way.
1. Goku will try to hit GER(bcz GER activates only when in danger[EVEN IF U JUST THINK IT FOR A SEC] ) but GER is like "No, Reset" over and over which leads to 2.
2. GER will try to hit Goku but Goku will keep dodging till he gets tired. GER stamina is .. none(I suppose its like unlimited- immeasurable) it cant be 0.
The real biggest issue is how few feats GER has, like he was able to react in skipped time, and reset all attacks that were thrown at him in his canon verse, with the only thing surpassing him if we count the games as canon being the world overheaven, who is a reality warper. We don't know his real limits, and all we can do is base it on what we have already seen and scale him above that, but the issue still is that stands in jojo aren't that strong destructively, no where close to being planetary, and speed wise, ftl is their rough ball park which isn't even impressive by dragon ball standards anymore. The only actual way i could see GER beating goku in a legit fight might be if GER has golden experience's abilities since one of them is the ability to send an attack back to the attacker, if the attack hits one of the animals that GE makes. Either case due to how vague GER is this is a hard match up to determine, with giorno at best stalemating. Also I don't really buy the logic of dragon ball that being stronger than your enemy would shut off hax, unless the series the character came from had the same caveate, like imagine a guy who can warp reality not being able to affect goku cause goku is more buff than he is, that is a dumb cop out, since power is a hard thing to measure cross verse.
The 'hax don't work on characters stronger than the character using the hax' is a VERY common anime trope.

I think the main problem with the possibility of Goku outspeeding GER is that GER doesn’t operate on time, it operates on the soul directly by returning the soul’s state to zero (willpower, intent to attack, life status, etc.) so it’s not that it’s manipulating time, it’s just not restricted by time or space at all in any way. There is no time required for it to activate, so GER is incalculably fast. This fight definitely ends in a stalemate, because most likely GER is not powerful enough to even scratch one of Goku’s hairs, but it’s hax are so insanely busted that Goku would never even have the chance to attack in the first place. Nobody wins
I like to think Goku would "see" G.E.R. Not in details or anything, but i think he would be able to feel its presence well enough and see a golden sillhuette near Giorno. At the bare minimum, i believe he should feel it, since its is a mass of energy. Also, if Ki attacks could work, nothing would be stoping Goku from giving a bunch of Ki to his hands. However, Goku's sheer speed actually gives him a win condition: go to the other side the planet, blow it up and teleport away. While Goku would certainly not do as such, it is still a possibility. G.E.R's R.T.Z probably wouldn't work, since it didn't automatically work on Pucci's MiH. I assume it's because he was too far/unware of what was happening. Which is weird regardless of this debate: if G.E.R's stats "do not need to be compared to other stand's", including speed and range, and since it's theoretically automatic, it should reasonably stop MiH. Yet it didn't. And that to me is one of many proof Part 6's ending is the absolute worst written moment in JoJo. With people like Rohan and Giorno around you'd think a fast gay priest wouldn't be too hard to stop. I suppose Pucci does master his unadultered swagger of the ultimate Ohio priest. The reason why GER didn't activate with made in heaven is because made in heaven wasn't directly damaging Giorno in any way I'm pretty sure,if the stand had causes any damage to him it would of activated.

Imo its gonna be a statemate, even if Goku could be faster and is WAY stronger, Giornos Hax are the only reason he would be alive, and as long as hes alive, GER will still be activated, meaning Giorno wont die at all. Maybe Giorno could win if Goku looses all his stamina while tryna kill Giorno but most likely it would be a stalemate. Though if GER had some of his other abilities his weaker counterpart used, he could win since he would just heal Giorno if he got hit with a ki blast and create lifeforms, that if Goku tries to destroy, would kill and destroy Goku instead, but sadly GER was never shown using those moves his weaker form uses, so its gonna be a statemate unless GER can use those abilities, which then Giorno wins since... Goku is Goku and he would definitely try to kill those lifeforms GER creates that, again if you kill, you die with it.
EDIT: Just remembered Giorno did heal after using the requiem arrow so he can heal and he did create lifeforms out of rocks, but those lifeforms didnt kill Diavalo after getting hit, so maybe Giorno wins if he can make those lifeforms kill Goku if they get hit with any strong attack directed towards them

-If Goku and Giorno meet in a straight up fight, Goku, even classic db could speed blitz him easily without even giving Giorno time to react, but i could see Goku giving him a free hit which could he his downfall
-depends on who writes the story in which the battle happens.

I made some maths (that are probably wrong) and the closest i got was Buu Saga's Power levels to compare to light
lets imagine a normal human has a power level of 5
a normal human that ocassionally trains has a power level of 10
a human that trains everyday has a power level of 20
and the strongest human in the world has a power of 30-80
Usain Bolt would be in the 20 power level group so Usain Bolt can run at 42km/h, and the speed of light its 1,080,000,000km/h so light its around 240,000,000 times faster than Usain Bolt
so, 20 x 240,000,000 = 4,800,000,000 power level needed to go at the speed of light (atleast)
In the Buu Saga Goku with SSJ3 had a higher power level than 4,800,000,000, so only in that Saga he could reach speed of light, and thats only DBZ
Goku in SSJB Kaiokjen x20 could move at a decently fast inside of a time stop, thats probably enough to be considered infinite speed

I also want to mention that it’s stated by Polnareff, who’s studied the arrow, that ‘Requiem is the power over souls’. So, the big question isn’t ‘can Goku beat GER?’, it’s ‘can Goku guard an attack against his soul?’.

@@om9959 we don't exactly knew how GER work other than altering the "truth" to protect Giorno for example, It jinx with King Crimson ability making his Time erasure didn't happen allowing Giorno to land fatal blow on him. However, due to how MUI power scaling is so massive that simply altering few truths won't allow GER to land a fatal blow that strong enough to kill Goku or get Giorno to safety during the fight. I feel like GER just straight up says "no" and forcefully makes both of them never cross paths with each other.

I believe you forgot about base golden experience power, he can literally give another person so much life force they are stuck in a trance and that it can turn inorganic objects to living things. And if someone were to damage those objects, that damage is then reflected on the attacker. So if giorno somehow outspeeds goku, he can trick goku into hitting himself. At least i think the match woudl come to a stalemate or giorno winning.
