- I’m standing for election in Glasgow on May 6th to repeal the SNP's Hate Crime Bill. We don’t need this draconian bill. Scotland is a friendly and tolerant country. The only intolerance I see is from Scottish Nationalists towards the English.
If you want to make a stand for freedom and against the SNP's authoritarianism and politically correct intolerance, vote for me on May 6th in Glasgow. I’m running in the Glasgow Pollok constituency and on the Glasgow List - so anyone in Glasgow can vote for me.

Just to let you know, we English have been shocked by the obvious hate that the snp spew towards Westminster. Which is in fact a mix of UK politicians. I find it so hard to believe what has become of Scotland since I left almost 25 years ago. Sturgeon is the worst thing that has ever happened. It’s time for her to be booted out. When Watt Nicol wrote his song celebrating the election of Winnie Ewing’s victory as the first SNP representative at Westminster I doubt he foresaw what the SNP would become in the 21st century.

As an Englishman in Scotland i always vote against the SNP. They appear to me as a hate ridden party. I'm not saying other parties are any better but it's clear to me SNP are not for Scotland or the UK.

'State-sanctioned comedy', great line! It isn't hate that's the problem, it's the demonisation of hate as a natural human feeling that's the problem, as then it becomes suppressed and part of our shadow. There are people out there that we all hate due to mistreatment, and so it has to be processed like any other feeling. Emotional suppression is reason everyone has some form of mental illness.

I like you and what youre saying. I am an SNP voter. I am also a hardcore stand up comedy fan. The hate crime bill makes me just as anxious as it makes you. There are others like me. Try not to get caught up in the hatred for the snp and its voters. Hate based politics is not compatible with the kind of democracy we are supposed to idolize. I understand many think that if you vote snp it must be at the expense of, or due to the hatred of, their political opponents. It is just about securing the country so it can live as long as possible and not be dependant on another. As a true democrat i want to be able to vote every step of the way so a vote for indy doesnt necessarily mean a vote for eu membership. I want to finish what we started in 2014 because we will only get one more chance. Another no vote will surely bring about legislation from the uk gov in time to limit such expressions of democracy. A country should be dependant upon itself first and foremost. It isnt hate based, it is concern based and im sure everyone on all sides who values democracy is in the same boat. If you politics are based on hate youve lost the game and may as well put on a green or blue shirt and make matchdays your meaning in life. Scottish electorate can rarely influence uk parliament when population is 5.4 million vs Englands 54million. N ireland and wales even less populations. If a country wants to be a ciuntry it needs to move out of a GE system they dont actually influence via a vote unless theres a rare situation of a tight race from Englands electorate. Very few times has votes outside England affected a UK GE outcome.
