Hi George . I've been a reseller now for nearly 20yrs and initially started out as an antique dealer before moving onto anything to flip . I in all honesty, have only ever found general auctions and antique/collectibles auctions are a sustainable source for products to re sell . FB market place a no, car boots in our county is definitely a no you would be lucky to pick up 5-10items with a profit of 100 odd quid ,looking at your car boots envious with the amount of stock you can source. As such I'd like to see you do a general/ antique auction and go out of your comfort zone as the mark ups in this area can be very high .
Great video George. Love anything with a league table 😜 how about doing a Vinted one! How much quality stuff you can source from Vinted in the space of a week or something? Katie
Hi George - I go to quite a lot of Jumble Sales as the opening times are later than car boots! As they are run by volunteers they don't really know eBay values and want to get it out of the way rather than keeping stuff afterwards so prices tend to be cheaper than car boots. I usually arrive at least an hour before opening time and often chat to the other people in the queue about other upcoming jumble sales - particularly if older females as they are seasoned jumblers! A tip I have learned also is to bundle a few things together and ask if they will take £1 for all which often works but it is a starting point for bargaining. Finally, I have gone back at the end of jumbles as they sometimes give the stuff away for free and hand out black sacks to help clear. Last year I listed some stuff that I got for free the same day and it sold for £68 the following evening.
Exaxtly what Lianne said. I go to a lot of jumble sales and I hear bout some through people who are there and regulars. Also arrive an hour early but you still get people who get there early than that
Hi George, great thing to pass the winter , how about your dunelm bargains tk max etc if you can get pick ups like all the lamps ect you grabbed last time
Could do a video of picking up a number of free things people give away online, or even trying to find things out and about that people leave lying around, see if it’s worth the time/effort
Enjoyed this video George. All I see now is people in charity shops checking items on there phone. Loads in the place I bumped into you the other day. It is hard to find items. I'm usually only after video games and movies for my boy and I.
I used to love a good jumble sale, I hope they make a come back, especially for the Autumn winter time as the boot sales drop off. It is different but each thrifting place has plus and minus's. It was funny for us watching, not so funny for you in the thick of it...😳. I so hoped we were going to see you in the ole sheepskin coat looking Del boy like...😄
I would like to know how much your items are really costing you when you factor the value of time to sell/ship/effort involved. I know you re-invest your money into stock but what formula do you use to justify your wage/salary/profit? Thanks
Nice video again mate but binge watching then lately as I slowly but surely getting into reselling I do have a question though having a business ebay account does that mean I'd have to pay a insertion fee ? Ebay fees are bad enough with an extra on top that would be a killer 😂 also also what clothing brands do you recommend buying for resell?
Hey mate appreciate it! Yeah with a eBay business account you'll get insertion fees but there's the shop subscription fees which help give you better value e.g. basic shop subscription approx £30 a month and you get 250 'free' buy it now listings and 100 'free' auction listings a month.
Love jumble sales haven't been to any for years. Only thing I find irritating and this also goes for car boot sales, people selling things that should be in the bin, past repair or electrical goods they know don't work. Don't do that, people.
Thank you George for giving a mention to social anxiety! The struggle is real
That looked chaos George! I once helped at a jumble sale never again people were even stealing from it

Ooh, love a jumble. Always good, ridiculous prices & returns, but you have to be quick, and at least an hour early lol
😱 that looked so stressful I think I would have left. X
I wish there were more jumble sales by me. Virtually non existent these days. Used to be loads, so not sure what's happened.
morning readies was a great series too 😎👍
Yes it was!
The Nevica ski suit will sell for good money hopefully, but for what you paid, which is insane lol you'll be fine on all of it :)
Anything Nevica sells really well for me - great pick up :0)
Don't tell the vicar 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would love to see the charity shop championship again!!!
boot sale are not finished in birmingham
Some great finds, but I don't know if I could cope with all those people in the way. Do you buy from Facebook marketplace?
Looked good to me. Might be worth travelling a few miles to get to them in other areas.
I think so too!
I would like to see Facebook market place pick ups
Jumble sales are scary 😂 I managed to go to one earlier in the year and got a lot of good stuff, so did my 5 year old 😏

Wow
That looked vicious mate. There might be milage in the "Jumble-Jostle" idea. It worked years ago for bum-fights 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
