Shintaro teaches no gi judo arm throws for application in a no gi setting. quick concise judo content. Very useful in BJJ and all other grappling forms as well.
the lapel changes things and makes your grips far more "final"... I remember arguing with the point because street clothes just don't react the same way that a Gi does
Sensei, for no-gi BJJ, various turning throws (be it head&arm/kubi nage, arm throws/seoi nage or hip throws/ogoshi) are incredibly rare in competition. Do you think this is because a lack of skill, or are they just too low percentage and high risk (back gets taken) to truly rely on?
These throws are Terrible. They rely on improbable angles, and leave you on your knees in front of your opponent if you happen to miss, which is quite likely. Demonstration is fast and sloppy. SMH.
Love the no gi content, more please!
Yes!
I agree

I love no gi because it has more real world application and multi-sport applications
Such a good video. I wish there was a judo school near me. These throws are so effective!
No gi throw techniques judo masters from mma
love it, glad to see recovery is coming along well as well. thank you shintaro!
Great throws. Currently trying to learn judo to add to the bjj
For me it’s wrestling, and my friends jump and shout when I use these at meets 😆
@@Nehauon Lmao, that must be really cool. Your comment is a year old so I hope you're doing well even now.
Thanks I like how direct and to the point your video is. Good information in a short video, easier for me. No-Gi is more interesting to me
YES! More no gi PLEASE. I want to learn judo in all ways
Yup, this is fire. More please!
No GI club here!
Same!
Man, your channel is awesome!
Congrats Sensei Master Shintaro !
I’m 6’3” so I hated hip throws. So my kits coach showed me the 1st throw here but wish someone would have taught me that last one.
So good! I love these throws!
Great info on some no-gi throws. I would like to see a video on some throws/options from 2-on-1 with no-gi if possible. Thx!
Ug wish i could get in time machine 35 years, #2 is a low risk high reward for any wrestller
Glad to see you back in my feed. Love your content
This is what I NEEDED!

Just saying the second throw would most probably get me guillotined.

What is the reference of Eugene pants please ?
No gi, no problem
How can I get one of those killer rash guards????????????? All I see in the store are t shirts.
Drop on the knee in the street- ouch!
Much less painful than the opponent's faceplant.
Can you do a no handed throw? Like in the movies maybe if they run at you.
Like aikido?
One way to RNC - 200% garanteed
Very useful! Used it the other day outside. The other guy is probably in the hospital...or still laying there dead.
man you’ll stack views if you keep making no gi stuff
ippon seoi nage seems to be the most commonly used technique because of its simplicity and effectiveness

İs that judo or ji jutsu?
Yes
Judo jutsu
nowadays Judo must be about NO GI throws because it is almost impossible to do traditional kumikata
I think it should include gi and no gi techniques, just like on bjj clases you have gi and no gi sessions.
NO GI
