Why didn't you mention about the sports mode in Tiago, the outstanding music system in the Tiago, the best in class brakes in the Tiago...
The entire review dedicates the most time praising the new comer Wagonr and praising the AMT as if it's a DSG gearbox, when the truth is the AMT supplier is same for TATA and Maruti. So you found the Wagonr suspension the most comfortable is it more comfortable than the Tiago? You have brand new Santro and Wagonr and 13,000km done Tiago for comparison very unfair. Try driving a 25000km done Ignis AMT which shares the same engine as Wagonr it's also jerky as hell with plenty of clutch judder at start up.
Tiago is the second best selling car after Wagonr, Tiago sold 8200 units in February 2019 from 650 dealers compared to 2200 dealers of Maruti, think on that.

Hi K Rao, as mentioned in the review, the same Magneti Marelli has been improved overtime to be smoother, something that is evident in newer models that have updated transmissions. As for braking performance, the Tiago comes to a halt from 100 - 0 km/h in 46.36 meters while the Santro comes to a a dead halt from 100 km/h in 42.6 meters. As for the Ignis clutch judder at 25,000km, its a subjective parameter that boils down to driving styles.
@@AbhishekChaliha I was expecting you to mention about the sports mode in the Tiago. Isn't it a unique feature in it's segment which is worth a mention? I hope you drove in that mode? It's very useful in ghat sections and for picking up speed quickly on highway overtaking.
Regarding IGNIS clutch judder I was referring to the AMT gearbox. There is little driver intervention in clutch release there. How can one justify clutch wearing out by 25000km. Please do enquire with Celerio AMT users and you will be surprised to know that they don't last more than 20000km. Who are you fooling? Wagon r and tiago are using same gearbox sourced from maniyati merialli.

Gearbox wise santro gearbox is superior.
Cause tiago is a lot heavier compared to wagon R. And it's mated with a 4cylinder engine compared to 3cylinder. Due to that the same AMT feels inferior to wagon R

Not right.. Maruti AMT comes since 2015.. They have mastered it.. In tuning.. In pick ups...nothing comes close...except car octane everyone said maruti 1.2 or 1l engine best in AMT..

WagonR is no match with Santro in terms of Build quality, After sales service, premium cabin, silent refined engine, Best AC, handling, best AMT, etc...
Looks is subjective matter. Some people like WagonR"s look and some will like Santro look. But you can't go wrong with any Hyundai Car.

@@sanatkumarbs I have tried upto 120 on Highways..... No problem up to 100, but after that engine lacks power as it's not highway car.... It's engine is tuned for city drive......

maruti and Hyundai can never give car like tiago at same price point.they are just selling brand name only. if they do so the whole balance sheet will be changed. just using tiago for a week any one can easily find it is better than swift and grand i10 so no comparison with santro, wagonr or celerio with tiago. in fact no face lift or any new car they will make like tiago because if they do so it will cut their profit margin more than half surely. this is the real truth Sir and you people should make people aware of this unlike making this type of biased review.
Tiago was value for money once, not now. We get Tiago XM and Santro Magna in similar price. Santro Magna has 4 cylinder engine, central lock, touch screen and all. Tiago XM has 4 power windows and power steering.. That's it

Tiago sells 4000 units on average? Perhaps the reviewer is on sleep mode for the past 2 years. It sells 8000 units per month on an average, even higher than the Santro!
Tiago is selling 6 to 7 k only. Last month it sold 8 k. From day 1 onwards Santro outsold Tiago.
Tata can't overtake Maruti or Hyundai because those 2 are well established in India

Santro is another tin can. i20 scored just 3 stars and its platform was rated unstable. Santro can't score more than 1-2 stars, when even i20 struggled to score 3. None of them is even closer to tiago when it comes to build
