Completely agree about Man of Steel.
The mix is slept on.
Thank you for watching!
Slumdog Millionaire won that year’s academy award for both background score and sound effects
@@jijos797 great movie! Awards all around!
Tenet may be quite a bit over the top for many. It's probably the most aggressive DTS track I've ever heard. If you don't have a capable HT setup, you may get into trouble :)) Oblivion on blu-ray (not the 4k) has another amazing DTS track and sounds even better upmixed with Auro or Neural:X. But, unfortunately, when it comes to amazing tracks to test your HT setup, nobody talks about one of the best out there: I, Robot on blu ray. This track is simply stellar, demo material from start to finish, and it's only a basic 5.1. Upmix it and you're in for a treat. Funny thing: the blu-ray was released in 2008, at the very beginnings of this format and it still kicks serious ass, both in video and audio departments. It just puts to shame many so-called Atmos tracks released these days.
Great suggestions! Going to put Oblivion and I, Robot on my list to get! Seen them both but it’s been a long time. Thank you for your comment!
Tron: Legacy with Daft Punk score and sound has to be on the list as well.
@@tennisks13 great point!
Do yall like dts-x or almost better? I have to say I finally got DTS-X to work on my Samsung q950a soundbar. I don’t know what it is but he sounds so much better than atmos.
I prefer DTS-X.
@ right! I put on the Jurassic park world dominion or whatever the latest one in 4k blu ray. I realized I needed to plug in my lg ubk90 into the soundbar itself and wow. Like actually crazy. Surrounded by sound. Also I wish I knew place the tears directly behind me. They were too far away at 45 degrees. Anyway dtsx for the win!
I remember you saying that you may be looking to upgrade your projector. I saw promotion that Epson is running, $1200 off refurbished LS11000. The deal is on Amazon.
@@percybedford6266 that’s a pretty solid deal! I’d like to get the ls12000. I think you can find also find those for about $3999 factory refurbished with all the warranty. Thank you for sharing!
@KevisFilms yes are correct. I have the LS12000. I bought last year on sale. It is an excellent projector.
You mostly talked about bass. I get it. Often times many movies have very powerful bass, but the mids and highs were bad. They were muddy sounding.
@@kennethlui2268 which one of the movies? The experience on my end was very clear on all three. Now, Nolan plays with his audience and generally makes dialogue a little harder to understand by choice. I appreciate your feedback though.
@ I am not referring to the three movies you talked about. Some marvel movies from Disney are those I was talking about
@@kennethlui2268💯 agree!
Sorry but Tenet Atmos mix is absolute dog💩 !!!
@@Tony91177 thank you for watching! Tenet is a 5.1 mix that requires an up-mixer to take it to a new level. For a lot of people it’s a hit or miss.
Who wants to hear great sound movies that sucked all 3 of them 🤦🏻♂️
