It is great to see the Birmingham video, I live about an hour away from B’ham. I have been watching trains since the late ‘90’s. I have watched trains there quite a bit over the years. Keep up the great work!!
I grew up on the CSX Lineville Sub, I now live on the NS East End District. I have been living here just over a year. I enjoy hanging out at the track.
@@ea_rail_productions I grew up in Roanoke and am now in Anniston. My brother in law works the Fitzgerald Sub. We, my wife and I have been here just over a year. We enjoy it here.
This makes me miss home. I'm a W. AL boy by birth, now located out of state. I was raised watching long hood foward SOU locomotives/road switchers. With both the SOU and GM&O flags gone/swallowed up, it's mostly NS and KCS/CP and CSX now, with foreign power being fairly common (seems like). While I'm not a BHM boy, I do appreciate your efforts at mixing shooting locations. There are still familiar landmarks I recognize and remember. Great video and thanks.
I don’t normally watch a long video like this all @ once, this was the exception since this was ‘local’ (I live in Tuscaloosa down the road a piece. Anyone note the train wheels @ 5:41? Good catch on the ex- RI hopper @ 26:41. @38:20, those Wisconsin Central hoppers could be headed to Progressive Rail in Albertville, AL for scrapping (handing off to ATN @ Attalia, AL) , noticed a placard on the sides.
Great video, lots of action on a very unique track setup, most notable for me are two Southern Railway gondolas I believe Blt. by GSC in 1975 11:23 &1:02:26 and best one is unmarked faded Southern PS-2CD 4750 cuft. design Blt. in 10-80! Great work, Thanks
That crossing at 3:40 is quite dangerous. I get the lights didn’t activate because those are NS tracks that the lights are connected to, but wouldn’t you think the 2 railroads would come together there and build a signal setup that works for both of their lines? They do that in Wyandotte, MI on that big track setup they have in the south Detroit suburbs, so why can’t they do that here?
I totally agree with you. Until something happens, I don’t think they gonna put anything there. That crossing been like since the early CSX days when they ran on it
Very cool and good vantage point especially on that 2nd shot; but those signals REALLY should activate for that curved spur that comes out from the left, then parallels the road.
Qx: does any RR ever clean up its track-sides? RRs may be some of the sloppiest industries in existence! They frequently have sh$t laying about just about everywhere! How much recycling $ could they pocket just picking up their junk laying about? 😅😂

Man you grew during the good times of the railroads! I would have loved to witness those days! And thank ya for enjoying the video! I appreciate it!
Are we gonna ignore that the warning lights didn't activate? Kinda dangerous @3:41
It's because that crossing don't cover that track
@ea_rail_productions Yeah but people can still run across that intersection and crash. Already have blindness on the road
@@FunGamerFever oh I know but the main crossing is NS. That crossing been like that since the CSX days (before ATN was created)
One of the coolest tracks setups I've seem very cool
Yeah it’s pretty interesting
Scary for the unwary
They should put a safety fence between the sidewalk and the train tracks.

Apologies the Southern hopper is st time stamp 14:23!
Yeah it’s a unique track setup! Glad you enjoyed the video!
That view at 0:12 is incredible! Awesome spot to film, thanks. Greetings from New York, you have earned a sub! 😃
I appreciate it! Thanks for the sub!
First Avenue North viaduct near Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama in case you want to look it up.

Awesome! I love the longer format videos!
Thank ya dude! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice catches! If only NS 1123 was leading on 384 because last time I checked, it still has a K3LA
Oh sweet!
Great videos thank you for sharing and Happy Memorial Day everybody
Thank ya! Hope ya'll have a good one!
This is a great video, thank you for sharing this with me.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank ya! Oh I totally agree with you on that
Where in Birmingham is the crossing at 3:34 and how often are the tracks used?
It’s the 32nd street south crossing and it’s used quite a lot. Every train in this video went past that crossing except for the CSX trains
Cool! Thanks!
Great loco lash/up in min 46…a B, two SD40-2s n a 44CW…nice!😊
What steam locomotive was that? I was unaware that there's one preserved in Birmingham.
Frisco 4018
Is this over by sloss?
There will be brand new rail oil tankers cars in the nearest future
Awesome! I remember all those old spots for trains💯💯👊🏽👊🏽
Thank ya!
❤ I love watching trains will this train is Trane signals not working m o w needs to fix that to prevent an accident
Thanks for watching!
Carbon black hoppers, I need to get some of those for my N-Scale train set.
Nice to see them WC 2 Bay Hoppers on a train. Up here, we don't get them anymore for 3M.
Yeah it is. I’ve been seeing a lot of them lately down here with the WC boxcars as well
@@ea_rail_productions nice to see WC stuff down that way. Thanks for sharing this and keep up the good work!!!

Longest industry waste gondolas parade I ever saw!😅😂

Wow, that New Orleans manifest in min 38:00 sure picked up speed but fast! Gone, baby…
One min it’s barely moving n then bam!…it was flying down the rails! 😅😂
Same w/train right after it during min 42:00…just picking up speed ea sec…
Some of those large squarish gondola covers look like military RR cars fr WWII! I half expect to see ack-ack barrels peering out fr their skins! 😅😂
3:23 I don't get the reason why the motion detectors aren't sensing the approaching train from beneath the curve.
That crossing is protecting the 4 NS tracks not with the one with ATN going down
I thoroughly enjoy watching train videos except auto carriers! Such a boring hunk of metal! 😅😂🎉❤
Woman walking is like - "Why are you honking at ME, no you didn't"
WHy does the train that is come down the side have no lights or anything for the active line
Where does the line from Sheffield enter north Birmingham?
Technically starts at 27th street where I was recording
Whoa, NS! Fix your in-town tracks…some mean RR car wobbling due to warped track!😂😅
11-29-76 to 3-29-16
AMAZING
Thanks!
With every vehicle manufacturer hurting from pathetic sales figures, I suspect we’ll be seeing fewer RR auto carriers!
I have never seen a train go on that track. That’s why i always prefer recording on the other side of the road.
Yeah ATN don’t run on a certain schedule so it’s always a hit and miss
what type of goofy ahh roblox lashup is that?
The real America
Roadrunner!!!
I wish NS would include more lighter colors in their corp paint scheme! That all black most of the time is dull, baby! Dull!😂😅
May as well shut your motors off, vehicle operators! This may take awhile…😂😅

Lotta trains but slow

I dont like you changeing spots because i can,t cout the whole train rhat,s another reason i dont join the wide world of trains,
