Really liked the head movement from the guy all in black with white gloves. He seems relaxed and waiting for his chance to fire off :) Also great work from Ammari and Dean (as always) and the other guys, although there was some distraction in the background at 2:40 :D
Great content as always! Do you know how many times a week these guys spar and how their sparring sessions differ in intensity, e.g. going harder in sparring leading up to a fight vs. going lighter many weeks out? Thanks in advance!
These guys spar like this every week. Usually you would start reducing the intensity a few weeks before fighting and taking extra precaution to not get injured 1 week out you will just do very light work if any.
@kkj jkk thanks mate, I fight at 63.5 kilos, but with this style of fighting (with me being Thai) them spinning kicks and unorthodox punching (particularly the tall geezer) at that weight would probably cause me some damage. Luckily these lads are skilled enough to block/evade Edit: but yeah I get what your saying I’d be teeping that front leg and moving in at angles to spoil them, something I would never have to do with anyone same weight as me
yeh hes super cool, has a background in boxing but also loves to train lots of styles really his style is very unusual and is really working for him, super talented fighter.
thank you, some people believe they do not help and actually can be more dangerous than wearing one. also in muay thai or kickboxing there are less head shots in comparison to boxing only. it is worth doing research.
are they just used speed or with mor power? i think with partner just make touch, its oke if you used power but not full. give me explain because its used to in my camp so i need to know the true rules in sparing with partner.
generally you spar light to the head and hard to the body. but not 100% power. work speed, footwork and your movement, sparring is good to open the eyes and get the sharp eyes for it. but dont go so hard some pros will but this is because they need to at times.
