Hello my name is Ali and when i watch yall sparring video man it looks like i am watching a episode on TV how to make me at the gym look like the way yall do it. Do i need a device to record or a camara thanks
Remember reading reddit comments about Ammari going too hard & bullying his partners. You can easily see him varying intensities here versus different opponents and going pretty light when warranted. Great fighter, & looks like a great training partner that knows when & when not to turn it on, imho. Happy Holidays Siam Boxing, thanks for the great content!!! 🤙👊🤝
I love ist to watch your sparring videos. Great fighter with good skills and respectfully sparrings with a high technical niveau. 👍👍👍 Greets from germany.
Wicked video as always. Something I wonder about with Spar Wars is why do the guys seem to take turns so much? Is it so that each partner can have a go at going hard while staying relatively safe? I imagine it creates super tough fighters who are conditioned to take a knock and not lose composure... but I wonder if they don't get a lot of practice countering and really looking for openings (rather than aiming shots for their partner's guard)... What's the method?
I was literally just watching and scrolling down these comments thinking the exact same thing. Not that that's bad or doesn't build a fighter, and not that they aren't good, but that's not a real fight simulation. Unless they're fighting a crazy Dutch guy, hahaha.
@@Jonglohn very true but it's a great way to make sure you and your partner can get alot of reps in and it's also a great way to make sure your practicing your defense as much as your offense. I'm sure leading up to a fight they would spar differently
This style is a more conditioning type of sparring. They take turns throwing a hard combo while the other covers up , they don't/ can't take risks to try new techniques. This still certainly has its place but shouldn't take the place of lighter technical sparring .
@@SandaBoxing 16/12 ounce gloves (giant pillows) x full force (mass x accleration) applied to a floating piece of cognition that is your brain = CBT (cognative brain trauma); even with guards, the gloves will go through impact wise. Maybe you should read statistics in boxing and martial arts in general (or American football), it doesn't get better for the people who get older and get accelerated alzeimers or dementia. Unless your training for an actual match, you shouldn't be sparring hard (even then, that should be once in a while to keep the thai boxers sharp but it shouldnt be the norm. The Dutch method has it's flaws).
@@BorninPurple If this scares you, then don't watch it or don't spar hard. How do you know that they're sparring like this as "the norm"? And did you just discovered that head trauma is bad for you? Haha, so you want the NFL to switch to touch football now too?
@@SandaBoxing I don't believe anything about fear was mentioned, just that I can feel the brain damage. Hey man, they're your fighters not mine. Better take care of them.
Hi I want to buy a headgear for MMA, and I am wondering which one to choose: Fairtex HG13, fairtex HG10 or top King empower? I have a big nose so I would like to have maximum nose protection
Is it on purpose that no one is interuppting the combinations of his partner ?🤔🤔🤔 Very strong and technically good guys but i am not seeing any fight iq. Is it on purpose to drill combinations and harden the body?🧐🧐
I never see anyone with headgear on. Is it feasible to wear the face saver headgear when kicks are involved? I mean the ones with the bar over the nose and across the face leaving a wide hole for your eyes to see through.
Due to it increasing concussion rate due to swelling of the head increasing pressure in them it also partially blocks peripheral vision making less strikes be visible sooner
Who’s bothered about a little bit of bruising when you’re a fighter? Other than mild bruising and stopping cuts, they don’t do anything, the trauma to the head is the same if not worsened from wearing them
Yall really should stop calling this hard sparring. This is a fight. 100% power to the head, these guys swinging for the fences. Bad technique AND dangerous.
Noob, most of the shots to the head are pulled. If you can't see it, then you're def. a noob. And "hard sparring" has different meanings, depending on the gym; can mean up to 100% power.

Great stuff. really cool to see the progression of skill level among all the fighters, especially the younger ones.
Couldn't agree more!
Great sparring sessions. First 2 guys very evenly matched, good control of power and technique.

What are the height and weight of the fighters featured here?
During sparring, do you guys really want to catch your opponent with a powerful headkick or you dont set it up so they usually block it?
Both. Non telegraphed I just send with care and stop before I hit. Set up I use a little more strength when I know that they are going to block it
I can feel the brain damage already
you a mcdojoista?
