I personally didn't really like the battle mode in Mario kart ds. Balloon battle is pretty much just a red shell fest and it's pretty unfair when you lose. And I don't even remember the last time I lost in shine runners.
Ikr Wii’s mission mode is mediocre especially considering the fact that they took away the “last man standing” aspect... it’s not bad but I find mk ds mission mode superior
It’s crazy how much replay value a simple game like Mario Kart Wii has... Been watching Troy for over a year now, and I don’t usually stay subscribed to someone for over a year
They shouldn't have scrapped it for Mario Kart Wii. It's literally the only thing that was missing from the game (besides maybe Petey Piranha as a playable character or something, but that's besides the point). I'd be fine with waiting an extra couple of months for release of the game if it meant we got a mission mode.
@@markymark443 I think they scrapped it because they replaced it with Tournament mode, which was like a similar thing but as special online events. Very big brain of Nintendo however to not realize that online-based stuff is never permanent, so putting Mission Mode on online instead of offline was sooooooooo high IQ of them, sooo high IQ >:(

4:50 I was watching the map and they were absolutely rubber banding during that race. I guess it was the only way the mission could be deemed hard for the 2 minute timer.
I recently subbed to the channel because of your amazing and in depth Mario Kart Wii videos. I want mission mode back. Seeing these missions even with the variety of mods that people make even to this day is fascinating. It really makes me want to try and fix my Wii so I can play MKWii again.
