Porthcawl on a fine ☀️ Sunshine day.
Porthcawl is on the South Wales Coast in the historic Welsh County of Glamorgan. It is in the current Welsh County Borough of Bridgend.
Porthcawl is located on the Bristol Channel which has the Second Highest Tidal Range after the Bay of Fundy in Newfoundland, Canada. Across the Bristol Channel is Exmoor in the English County of Devon.
Porthcawl has a Royal National Lifeboat Station (RNLI). The National Coastwatch also patrol the sea.
