Few tips to help get better runs. 1. Bloadsoaked shirt is way stronger than the other chest pieces you have. It heals more than the defense of those saves, and it gives up to a 100% damage bonus in 30 minutes, depending on how much you high roll. Also get the potions. 2. There is one for rerolling abilities and one for rerolling the gear in chests. Along with memorization and doubling potions being extremely strong. That along with picking the next ability when your first is level three so you can upgrade the current one if you do not like the other two. If you do not know, memorization potion can be used to pick multiple choices of the same tier, so on cleric you can for example pick both the damage and attack speed. This can synergize extremely well if you pick a mark with traits that help that character. Traits between mark and character is not separate, that why the potion is so good. 3. You are also missing some blessings that are new to the patch. Need to do a 20k hit with shield maidens shield attack and there is another for crit chance, can't remember what you are supposed to do thou. 4. As a baseline I would say banish vitality, defense, parry, pickup, and bulwark. Using levels on those if you do not scale on them makes the run harder to survive instead of easier. 5. Sorcery proficiency stance of 20% crit chance only works on lightning attacks, so you need to the ring that makes your main attack lightning or playing her for it to work on main attack.
@@gamingwithjeff if you like that you're gunna LOVE the artifact you get for clearing the vault. You can send up the green glowing versions of items to equip out the gate. As for the greedy well merchant... I don't want to spoil it for you so you should just finish the vault
So on the cleric run, they increase magic dmg overall, so picking the astronomer orbs didn't make a lot of sense because they are physical dmg, while arcane splinters is magical based dmg and does scale with the cleric upgrades. That's something to consider when pairing abilities with heroes. I commented on your last vid about leaving scrolls on the ground until your abilities are lvl 3 because if you pick up a regular scroll and don't get the new ability you want, at least you can grab the upgrade for your current ability. Just a bit of insider knowledge.
I've been giving you a few 'wink wink nudge nudges' to push you in the right direction. 😅 I want to see you lose your mind the first time you break the game. Also, be mindful of your doubling potions. Use them on the big hero upgrades that will dramatically buff all your abilities rather than doubling upgrades for specific abilities. 😉 Unless you are focusing on taking one ability to it's absolute most broken state. There's that option too.
Verily, the movement patterns on the Floor Guys, Handsy Crabs, and tall cloaked guys (who spawn in the wave after crabs) are probably the hardest things to deal with when mixed with the normal guys who walk straight toward you. The worst time to head into those tunnels always seems to be when the crabs are out, because they'll awkwardly sidestep into whatever spot there appeared to be an opening.
Started running the vault myself last night, and yeah it's tough. First two runs I just got stomped. Then built with more of a focus on defense/health/regen with the norseman and was able to beat it. Was also running with like 4 or 5 modifiers seems 50/50 if they're good or bad, maybe slightly more weighted toward bad. Pickup range is also pretty useful, since as you noticed leveling is slow because often times you're constantly backing away and not picking up the xp drops. If you can survive long enough to get to level 20-25 you're probably good. The boss wasn't incredibly hard, but is super tanky.
I just finished my 1st attempt at it using Warlock as a summoner class. Its not hard, you just push into the spider boss room which has way more space to move . . . level up until 60-100 levels depending on your build and then kill the spider. It's only hard if you scale it by paying into successive mutators before going in.
Seems like as long as you don't give them extra max hp, it's not so bad. And yeah I agree, fighting in the big center room is about 1000x easier than in the tunnels.
Thanks for doing the exterminator Jeff!!! I did the same run last night after I left a comment. I died horribly fast in the vault.. WAY faster than you in this one. I even tried to get some different gear and switch some things up for a second run, but nope. He does not do well in the vault..
You have to lock and double things early in the vault to get through, Nothing wrong with exterminator if you set it up correctly because if you notice you have corridors to make up for his weakness of being surrounded.
47:02 yes you should do the math. If that still does over 50 damage, the % damage increase is always better. At 100 damage, the % increase is raid as good. That's one thing I don't care for about this game. It should give either a base increase or a % increase and when you hover over it, if it says 20% it should tell you exactly what that number is and if it shows a base number it should show how much % that actually is. This way just makes things more complicated, especially with the way it does crit chance. You kept choosing % crit chance increase and when you opened your stats menu, it showed over 50% crit chance, but then a skill came up that said .15 base crit chance which is nothing. Idk what the base crit chance is, but if it's only like 1 then you should never choose the base.
Bro i don't know crap, don't reference me. But, if you only have one weapon that can upgrade at a time, you get your choice of what modifier you get for "evolution" or whatever. Oh man, my buddy is gonna be hammered. Two rivers near him are already up like 6 feet last i heard. Crazy crap. Stay safe
@@gamingwithjeff it took 2 tries, i focused alot more on defense, HP, regen, block and a ton of move speed then i usually do and started the boss early. The later into the run the more punishing the mobs get. GL you def got the skills to clear it.
I did it for the first time with Exerminator as well. Forcused on burning,spark and movespeed,regen.Used Dragon Breath,Kugelblitz,Lightning stike and Aura. It took me 20 min i think.
bro any similar game to death must die where u actually dorp equip and u have a sort of progression PRE run? i like this dont get me wrong...but daium why they never add a sort of real deep character progression rpg be like in a roguelite like death must die?

Shield Maiden with everything on block and defense and the amulet that gives life over time was a walk in the park
Don't think I have that amulet :( And the vault stole my merchant so I have to clear it lol
