Nice. I am scouring your vids to see how to set a snare for a wolf. I have a small pack running around down here by us north of Talkeetna. I would love to get one or two. I do have a wolverine that comes by a few times in winter as well.
In episode 1 of my 2023 trapping season videos. 1 minute and 55 seconds in you can see how I set a wolf snare, but I would hang the snare higher so the bottom of the snare is at the bottom of your kneecap. Use any kind of tie wire to secure the wolf snare to the tree. The trick with snaring wolves is just putting out allot of snares. It really helps your chances. Hope this helps. Haha man now that would be an epic video! This was the heaviest one at a hair under 34lbs. 33.9 didn’t have the largest pelt but was covered in fat and old muscle. I usually get a heavy male near the end of trapping season every year. Thanks for watching ottercat👍

Had a yote spring a marten box trap. Today has a big ass woof took a marten out of a marten box. Can't trap the vermin until the first of January. Had to pull all my boxes. Not sure if you can even trap woof in the area. Bastards have to many rules.

I tow sled behind like a wrecker track up in air so don't drag or have to take the drive belt off. Made a 2 inch tubeing goes in receiver hitch. This older male weighed in at 33.9 lbs. I went years without weighing my catches. I’m pretty sure I had a few pushing 40lbs. But I’ll be sure to weigh every catch from here on out. God bless

@@enigmaticgwichin1630 you should take the time and make some picknick tables on your line. You do more picnicking than trapping. Just as wells to make some cots so as you can take naps
