      Had a sow grizzly and cub robbing bait. A young woof stood under a tree looking at a marten bucket set. No bobcat around. Can't trap woof till the first of January

    Fantastic. I thought I’d seen the end of the trapping videos. Congratulations on a fine catch. I have that same holder for my jet boil. I love it. I’d venture a guess but I already saw the answer on another comment. Nice big wolverine. 👍👍

    Great video. Glad to see it and your wolverine! I have eaten many MRE's in my Army Career. But never had a cold weather MRE. I retired in 05 so that menu looked pretty good to me!

    Nice. I am scouring your vids to see how to set a snare for a wolf. I have a small pack running around down here by us north of Talkeetna. I would love to get one or two. I do have a wolverine that comes by a few times in winter as well.

      In episode 1 of my 2023 trapping season videos. 1 minute and 55 seconds in you can see how I set a wolf snare, but I would hang the snare higher so the bottom of the snare is at the bottom of your kneecap. Use any kind of tie wire to secure the wolf snare to the tree. The trick with snaring wolves is just putting out allot of snares. It really helps your chances.

      Haha man now that would be an epic video! This was the heaviest one at a hair under 34lbs. 33.9 didn’t have the largest pelt but was covered in fat and old muscle. I usually get a heavy male near the end of trapping season every year. Thanks for watching ottercat👍

      Awesome video brother. I caught a rabbit this last season in a blind set. When I approached the set, it looked like a grenade had went off there. After looking closely, it appeared that three coyotes had breakfast on me!!!😂 be safe....love you country..God bless

      @@enigmaticgwichin1630 you should call your videos out for a picnic. U should get you some 330 coninbear clips. Hang traps up in limbo trees put a bucket with bait over the traps. No birds fast fur hangs off the ground. You waist alot of time building cubbies. Better start useing a safety gripper. B4 you end your career with busted arm wrists.

    Do you keep your GoPro in your jacket and then just pull it our once in a while so it doesn't get cold and shut off?

      Most years I’ve sold the head chopped from the carcass and the guy that buys them from me cleans them up and resells them. More recently I started cleaning them up a bit then giving them away. Thanks for watching

      AR-15 .223 loaded with Barnes vortex’s monolithic copper rounds. Shot a lot of caribou, black bear, and wolf with this rifle. I have had a .338 but walking into the brush after a wounded animal I’ll grab my AR almost every time. Thanks for watching

      They have had a ban on the wolverine for years for trapping. Now they have been put on the endangered species list. All for antis to get all trapping stopped

      Had a yote spring a marten box trap. Today has a big ass woof took a marten out of a marten box. Can't trap the vermin until the first of January. Had to pull all my boxes. Not sure if you can even trap woof in the area. Bastards have to many rules.

      @@KenCaudle damn that sucks. The crazies won’t be ok until all trapping is ended then they’ll go after hunting, sport shooting, then just legal gun ownership. Bait empty marten boxes and when the season opens you’ll have wolves primed to come to the bait then it’ll be easy pickings. Thanks for writing my friend.       @@enigmaticgwichin1630the lure I sent you is working brought a yote in 50 Yards off the road he was using in warm weather. Are snow has melted. The woof came to my marten box a 100 yards. Left the road. In cold weather after they haven't eaten will get them to step on broken glass to get to the lure

      @@enigmaticgwichin1630 lots of changes. Had to buy a longer trailer. So can haul Nissan and my skiddoo. I tow sled behind like a wrecker track up in air so don't drag or have to take the drive belt off. Made a 2 inch tubeing goes in receiver hitch. Little winch lifts and lowers the skiddoo in case break down 35. Miles from camp. Never even know it's back there
