Damn this tune is already almost 10 years old, it just seemed like yesterday I was in High school listening to them, and boom time flies, I guess that's what happends when the world is on drugs, it should take a little break every once in a while.
And pretty soon it will be a quarter of a century! This is interesting and kinda rad that a comment I wrote years ago still gets some activity to this day!
They don't need them, but it fits the lifestyle. Drugs help you get to a place mentally where you can see music in a totally different way, which helps with originality in writing (to be inspired by something other than other music or to hear things most people don't). It's also a good way to pass time while on tour. And obviously b/c it feels good.
get more money than you can give away and achieve every goal that you aimed for, after that the times has come that you get bored and fall into a depression , most people then need drugs.
