Chino has the best voice for raspy, heavy and melodic. No one can do it quite like him. Deftones have stood the test of time and I still love them in 2020. RIP Chi Cheng.

Glad I can say I’ve seen these guys in concert multiple times on every album. Especially in the small hole in the wall venues back in the Adrenaline and Around the fur days.
This is by far the best performance I’ve seen of Digital Bath. It beats the ones from 2000 if for nothing else because of Abe going full God Mode with the drums here.

Abr Cunningham from deftones is one of the best examples of lies being more. I grew up on metal, and mathcore, and used to think that showing off and being overly technical was a sign of how good you are, until i heard this song. His little nuances on the snare, with those little rolls and skip beats that bounce between the high hat and snare. I love how on white pony they used a different snare drum for every song
