  • UPDATE: This camper has been sold. But, I am leaving this video up to teach people about the Trailmanor camper.
    This is a 48 minute video that showcases our Trailmanor. Yep…LOTS of details. This is a great video if you are looking to buy or just want to learn a lot about how a Trailmanor works.
    We have moved to a larger camper and we must sell our beloved Trailmanor. In the past 24 months we have towed it over 32,000 miles and spent 127 nights in it. It has been totally amazing and has performed flawlessly.
    The Trailmanor is a folding camper (Do NOT think pop-up) that is about 6’ tall for towing and only 20’ in length. There is no canvas or soft sides. When set up you are inside a solid camper with an aluminum skin inside and outside. Dry weight is about 2,780 lbs. When opened up it is 27’ long with tub/shower, cassette toilet, lavatory, full kitchen and living area with a fold down sofa that can sleep two adults as well as a queen bed in the rear. It is an amazing package that pulls great behind most 6 cylinder vehicles. This model camper is still in production today (very few changes) and the 2020 model of the 2720 sells for close to $40,000!
    We have completed many upgrades and modifications to provide better system control, monitoring, safety and usability. Since we do camp a lot, we always want something that is simple, straightforward and works! Even though we have move to a larger fifth wheel camper, it will never be as versatile as the Trailmanor. We can truthfully say that we will miss it. I remain amazed how something that tows this small and light, opens up into a large fully functional camper that is self-contained.
    Wear and tear… Yep…there is the usual outside wall scuff marks caused by the bag-seals as they slide up and down when raising/lowering the top shells. There are a few small dings and such…but nothing major at all!
    I can also provide a PDF copy of my maintenance log that shows all the maintenance, modifications, adjustments and parts for the camper. Included in the sale is the Husky Weight Distribution Hitch (I would be happy to help you set that up for your vehicle). Vehicle will be sold as is/where is.
    We have a clear Alabama Title and will provide it and a Bill of Sale. Cash sale only.
    $8,300.00

    This is an amazing camper. FlyboyTR and his wife have included me on some of their trips. It is a magic box that is easy to set up. It only takes minutes and with no sweat. Tows great. Very comfy. You'll love it!

    Why does everyone mention this tiny little switch for the water heater but never show it?

    • @Flyboytr
      @Flyboytr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are many videos and pictures that show the switch. It is located sort of behind/below and to the left of the gas valve assembly. It is black in color and is at the bottom left hand side (looking in from the outside). Good luck!

    Travis, I loved seeing all your modifications.
    I'm one of those who love the recirculating toilet though. With the recirculating toilet, you can hook up directly to a sewer connection at campsite so when you have to empty it, all you do is pull a valve like any camper with a blackwater holding tank. With the cassette toilet, you have to remove the tank and empty it. With a recirculating toilet you don't need to add any extra water for flushing so it doesn't need emptying as often. With a family of 4 we can go 1-3 days without emptying the tank, depending on everyone's "needs". Travis has a great mod for the recirculating toilet that eliminates offending smells, the most common complaint of the recirculating toilet. However, I understand why others would prefer the cassette toilet, and Travis has one of the best demos of this toilet I've seen. Also, my compliments for such a neat installation.

      Larry,
      Thanks for the input and kind words. Sincerely appreciated. I sure hated to see the TM roll away to the new owner. I hope she enjoys it as much as we did.

    I bought this
    trailmanor from Lady in Scott La.

      Excellent. I really don't know if she ever used it much. I hope you enjoy it! Since then, we have bought another TM, a 3023. It has a bed on each end. That said...I still miss the one you have purchased. I Wish you the best!

    Good video! I'd buy it tomorrow if it had 2 queen beds. Good luck selling it! Someone is going to get a great camper!

    • @Flyboytr
      @Flyboytr  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I saw some pictures a while back where someone converted the living area into a queen bed. Didn't look that difficult to do...but would require building a bed deck in the slide out, two bench seats and changing the table arrangement. Doable...but yet one more project! :) I sure wish it would have fit your needs. We would have loved for you to have it.

    Hey Travis, I have a TM 2619 that I bought used and it does not have those hinged metal beams just aft of the weight distribution hitchbar points that I see on your trailer. I do have the swing away front hinge. May I ask what purpose your beams serve? Are they factory installed?

    Can I ask how much you were able to fetch for your TM? I buying a 2008 model and was interested in comparing the market. Great video

    Just curious as to where you hooked into the electrical system with your AC power monitor. I thought about putting it near the circuit breaker panel for ease of hookup, but the unit would be too low to read it. I like the place you put it, but I'm unsure of the best way of where to hook up all the wires if not using the circuit breaker panel to do so.

    • @Flyboytr
      @Flyboytr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wade,
      I had installed an inside switch to turn the electric element in the water heater on and off. I tied into that power feed on the hot and neutral. It was the best place for me. Remember...there are also 110 VAC lines that go to the top of the fridge...which is another connection possibility. Good luck.

      @@Flyboytr Thanks for the info. Those are good options. I recently purchased a used 2009 2720SD and really like it. Now I'm just trying to make little improvements.

    Does the license plate have a light since you relocated it and if it does, where are you running the wires from? GLWS

    My furnace quit working when I charged the battery with jumper cables

    • @Flyboytr
      @Flyboytr  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check and see if you blew the battery fuse. Although, even if it were blown the furnace should still work when plugged into shorepower.
