Altus is Unparalleled creativity, full of rich textures and layers of headtravelin' awesomeness !!! 🙏!!! Thank you once again for a prime offering man !!!🙏!!!
This is one of your very best. Listened to this during meditation and received many downloads of information that was needed. Thank you for this beautiful work.
I've only skimmed this for a minute as I don't have much time, but holy hell this sounds different than your other work I've heard. Chimes is so good! Very cinematic too, ready to listen and just build a movie in my head

Ma-a-a-aybe? 😉 Haha! It wasn't my intention to reference or copy it. The title came naturally as I was scribbling ideas, but I certainly noted the similarity.
When I started listening to this piece, I was going to say I can hear the resemblance, but as it went on, I definitely felt this was more emotional and less abstract than Mystic Chords & Sacred Spaces. Keep up the beautiful work 💚
I have to listen to it more, but for now it reminds me of "Strength of Fate". The sounds are less soft than in, for example, "Sleep Theory" (although there is no need to compare them). Let's say it's somewhere in between. Although with that strength of sound, I don't know if I would sleep ;)
I don't know if it will be answered, but what equipment do you use for ambient production? I'm new to the craft and have fairly poor hardware, currently. My DAW setup is fine....just not the input tools. I'm wanting to branch off into some different styles than my current collection of pieces. They were mostly about "getting my feet wet" and experimentation.
Please check out this playlist that has a few 'behind the scenes' videos: th-cam.com/video/54iR9eNaEGo/w-d-xo.html That said, my setup is completely software-based, so I don't know how useful they'll be for you.
@@altusmusic_ca Thank you very much for the reply. I will take a look at this video. And I have considered going completely software based at some point as well. Again, much thanks. Love your music! 🙂
The cover art was created in Photoshop using two photos I took, along with a free-to-use smoke element. The doorway's edge was drawn. Inside the door is a macro photo of a very rusty railroad spike I came across. One of those rare times where an idea came to fruition nicely. 😄 Using that doorway as a template, I copy/pasted it into other photos I took. The empty rooms were created with Stable Diffusion.

Excellent as always. I'm actually listening to this on Bandcamp right now but came over here to give you some props!
Listening to this gem for the very first time while reading the Tibetan book of the dead. perfect combo.
Music tells a story.
Another absolute fantastic album to get lost in. Thank you for your music!

Very cinematic! Awesome work!! Thank you!
This is a real gift to fans of the genre. Filigree work with sequences and harmony. You're just smart, Mike !!
Come on..be honest. You must come from another planet, or space and time. How else could you create this healing masterpiece?
😅 Thanks!
Listened to this for the second time. This is tremendous work!
Nice work as always!! :)
Beautiful work, as always, every album has a special vibe to it. Love the one this album has, it feels mysterious, yet welcoming. Great job👏
I love this whole album. These releases never disappoint.

Can't escape the feeling the title is a Steve Roach reference! In which case, great!

How did you make the artwork?
