    Take early morning sunshine every day for essential vitamin D. Consume veggies of all colours. Using paraben-free and fragrance free shampoo and gently massaging two times per week with hair oil from litttleextra's cooconion. From someone who has been experiencing hair loss since 25, and now age 31. I'm also not a fan when I see videos like this, when you aren't being totally transparent with your audience. Especially when it comes to something which is life changing like losing your hair. I have had a hair transplant, and have been doing alot of research on this since I started losing hair. There are only two FDA approved treatments on the market for hair loss. These are Minoxidil, and Finasteride.
    Minoxidil increases the blood flow to the scalp, therefore stimulating your hair follicles, and sending your hair from a resting state to the growth state. Scalp massages will not help.
    Finasteride will stop the DHT from attacking your follicles however there is a chance you will experience side effects as you are essentially messing with your hormones. You won't know until you take the drug whether this will happen.
    Both of these treatments while started will last a lifetime.
    My TH-cam channel has documented my hair transplant journey. Please do your research properly before taking any action.

    • @StebanHern
      @StebanHern 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Thank you. This guy on the video just sounds like yet another TH-camr trying to speak bias.
      1. DHT blocker
      2. Some form of minoxidil
      3. Little thing with small needles in it which is also a Roller. I forgot the name.
      For supplements: Hydrolyzed Collagen and Biotin can help a bit.

      Do you have any experience with Dermaroller?

    • @internationalhairlossjourney
      @internationalhairlossjourney 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@veen88 I don't personally mate. Maybe Steban does. I haven't felt the need to add DHT blockers/ Dermarollers to my routine. I would argue you need to do your research properly before adding DHT blockers, and most guys who are vulnerable do not understand how it works. Most men take this without the information, and then deal with the issues after. I also have a feeling most men are embarrassed to discuss that they are having issues such as lack of libido, or erection issues, or even Gynecomastia, so it doesn't become totally transparent on this side either. I refuse to take DHT blockers personally. Remember when you take this, you are messing with your hormones. There seems to be a hit, and miss aspect with things such as Finasteride.
      I have been following the same routine since 2019. I use Minoxidil, Saw palmetto, healthy diet, and vitamin D supplement. I have also used Laser Therapy. This works fine for me as you can see by my videos. I have ended up even regrowing hair that was previously thinning.

    • @jeffbro1021

      Reason why he’s not reinforcing these treatments is because they come with possible long term sides….Reducing systemic dht is not got idea at all. I’d say it’s reckless and plain dumb. With coping medications but at the same time you have no other choice unfortunately. As long as you are aware of the long term possible sides. Personally/anecdotally fins poison to my body and mind. Minoxidil just gave me dark eye circles but in time (nearly 3 years) I’ve recovered and it turns out my hair loss was stress induced and lack of calories.

    • @jeremiahcomer
      @jeremiahcomer 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As silly as it sounds, I would not be so quick to dismiss massages or reducing stress and inflammation. DHT concentration is a symptom. It’s found all over the body, even where there is plenty of hair. There are new studies showing inflammation (shrinks follicles) and subsequent scar tissue (permanent) causes hair loss. Tension around the scalp is one suspected culprit. So there may be new treatments in the future around this new discovery.

    I approach hair loss with a holistic philosophy. One - it's a sign that ageing has kicked in and to slow down. This means training and exercise too. And I start taking better care like not smoking or drinking as much, not sleeping too late as much - although I still do. Two - hair care is a holistic science and everything you said in the vid agrees with my view - scalp massages, applying topical creams or lotions. And also not shampooing too much, knowing how to listen to your scalp, resolve all secondary or tertiary scalp issues like dandruff, itching, over-production of oil, etc.
    However, don't be quick to overuse the term "balding". Treat it as "hair loss". Ultimately it is "balding", but now you are roughly at the same stage as me. What we both have would be more like "mature hairlines". Any hair care we practise won't reverse our "mature hairlines". Hair care only thickens the existing crown - like in your vid, your crown looks thick but like you said, your "mature hairline" showed no difference. Understanding this is to rein in expectations of what we can do and what we can't do - so we can focus our efforts where we know it can work and not get disappointed. After the "mature hairline" stage, we then have "receding hairline" or receded hairline - this starts from the time the forehead looks high or when the temples have begun creeping higher up and back. It's kind of subjective when "mature hairline" ends and where "receding hairline" begins, but when the back of the head has started thinning or a bald patch seems to be growing, that's when "receding hairline" has definitely begun and runs in tandem with "balding".
    As we both use topical hair products and practise hair care, we slow down or even reverse slightly these processes. Currently my crown is thinning - well relatively speaking, because I have thicker hair so while it appears that my crown still has enough hair that bald spots cannot be seen, my hair has gotten a lot thinner than what it used to be. I have undergone an extreme hair care program but I wouldn't recommend it over minoxidil. Basically at one point, I think stress made my hair look thin, so the program blasted my scalp with a topical solution created from plant stem cells. Now this is confusing because it's not the same as a stem cell treatment. It's a topical solution formed from plant stem cells - that being the difference. It salvaged my condition, and reverse the thinning, but that was also thanks to better hair care and lifestyle habits. I now use minoxidil daily with hair tonics that I switch about differently each day to so-call maintain the gains my extreme hair care program had wrought.

Next step could include a) trying to save those DHT sensitive hairs in the back with medication - which probably is not the healthiest option in the long run, or b) You could transplant hair in crown area also, however there is a huge IF. There are only few of those people who have big enough donor area with lots of grafts to extract from and to cover WHOLE top of their heads with it. Usually you can only cover it to some extent but not fully, or you can disperse those grafts all around your head, but then the density would be insuficient and you would end with hair that you could see your scalp through, somewhat like in difuse thining. Let me share you my secret here, trust me your hair will grow back if you do as i say, i have been diagnosed with alopecia at 23 I’m now 25 my scalp was very visible that I always use caps and hats, ok let’s go straight to the point.
    1. Never use hot water on your scalp even in winter try a lukewarm wash ,finish with cold water.
    2. Use ginger shampoo 🧴 , gently wash your hair, never use bar soaps or shower gels, i will recommend ginger shampoos or olive shampoos.
    3.use a hair dryer to blow your hair after shower on a normal temperature, don’t use it on a hot temperature.
    4. Apply minoxidil 5% for men, 2% for women, immediately after you dry your hair in the receding areas leave till absorbed five-ten minutes.
    5. Get a beard oil, almond or castor oil apply on your scalp massage it till it feel touchy on your scalp , women should apply castor or almond oil.
    6. Skip a day washing your hair at least wash 3 times a week , keep applying minoxidil even if your hair isn’t washed.
    7. Increase vitamin and protein intake especially boiled eggs.
    8.Trust the process.
    I remember those days i come to visit TH-cam for hours trying to figure out my situation and i see some people telling their secrets of how they did it ,!i tried bunch alotta of things and some never worked but with all these tips above i hope you will come one day to bless me.
