I am inspired when I see a true artist at work, creating something beautiful. I recognize a true artist in you, and 3.) I fell down the ‘Regal’ rabbit hole which has been highly enjoyable… as an x hairdresser I have to say how impressed I am not only with your unmistakable talent but also your intelligent demeanor with your clients. The way you handle people going through hair loss and the straight but empathetic way you talk to them is totally admirable. Shame you’re not in Germany.
I absolutely love this style on a guy. So neat and clean with a cool beard. This is my favorite haircut. It’s perfect whether the hair is thin or thick, receding or not. Loved that he didn’t want to stop at a 6 and went straight to a 4. He was so ready for this. Very nice, Dan.
Dan, this cut really suits this guy! He doesn't look like he thinned some. This guy really looks great with this cut! I also use minoxidil and finasteride thanks to you talking about it. It's been 8 months now and my hair totally stopped falling out and there is noticeable regrowth in the places I hoped would grow back in some. The combo of both minoxidil and finasteride works for me! Thank you for your channel and advice! Now all I would need to do is to get a great cut from the master!! Thanks Dan!

Smart choice but personally I would have saved a litte more on the top, faded the beard and maybe even shorter at the start to build little less round shape.
Great videos! I've suffered with alopecia for the last few years but only on my facial hair....l was left with not much beard or moustache left, recently most of it has grown back apart from the outer edges of the moustache (it looks like Charlie Chaplin's...although most people have said it looks like another historical figure which lets be fair a very bad look) I found the whole thing a loss of my identity and I do get a lot of 'funny' looks. I ended up using my wife's mascara to help make my adolfs tash look a little less obvious...any tips or help would be greatly appreciated! what you do with these gents has been amazing, so supportive and kind!

The hir cut looks gear but now the beard needs work. Perhaps shaving under the chin and neck will strengthen the jaw line. It needs more definition to go with the well defined haircut.
There’s some hair you look at and just now would be absolutely revitalised with medication. Stick on the fin and 6 months of 5mg min and those curtains will be very very different you can just see it

Shaving the head bald is good once in awhile (maybe every 2-3 years) because it takes stress off the hairpart and allows deep exfoliation of scalp tissue. It also resets cowlicks to some extent. You might even absorb more vitamin d from the sun during the summer but don’t quote me on that.
I had long straight hair when I was a teenager, then shaved it off and kept it shaved for a couple years. Then I decided to grow it back out and now it’s got so much curl in it! Completely different texture
Right! So my boyfriend tried to get these meds. We are in the USA. They wouldn't give to him because of this. So they recommended a company within the US. Anyways, he got it. Then noticed, the side effects include ED and it may also raise your risk of orthostatic hypotension, which is when your blood pressure drops after you sit up or stand after lying down. This side effect can make you feel dizzy or even pass out in some cases. It's not good for ppl with heart conditions.
It’s always seems to be the case with these transformations. Bushy beards always seem to spoil them. This guy would look better with a length of beard like dans.
I had this exact same haircut the last time I visited the barbers except I had a 0.5 on the back and sides. I can completely relate to all the conversations you've had in this video aswell, for someone like me who is attached to their hair it's a big thing to go down to a buzz cut and you have to be ready to do it which it has taken me a few years to do it even though I had a number 1 all over for charity for 5 years ago. I love the low maintenance aspect of it and was very happy with the end result but I'm not bored as I can't do alot with it and can't wait for it to grow back 😂 my barber also recommended I started longer so he gave me a 6 to begin with but then still decided on the 4
wish i had a barber like you man.. youre the best love the connection between your clients, i feel like if i come to you i can even sleep while you cut my hair, thats how i would trust you with it :) and trust me im very PICKY with a barber

I knew it would be shave before I even clicked on it the video lol. This isn’t the first time someone with hair loss has come out with way less hair than they went in with! Luckily he suits it quite well although that could just be the cut he had before and the way he styled it back which is not exactly what you need when you’re losing your hair.
Another great vid! I'm in a similar state, a year on the fin/a couple of months on min after seeing some crown thinning and seeing some results. Difference for me is that I'm long and curly, so my ends are looking a total mess from the shedding 😅 But worth it for the thicker base coming in. Half thinking about buzzing it for a reset of the split ends, except I know how long the ringlets will take to grow back in.
Didn't get to see the before photos he mentioned. I clicked on this video because I have a very similar hair style and hairline with an interest in going short. Also, I'm totally stealing Dan's beard. I'd like to know what length it is under the jawline.
Dan, can you talk a little bit about the challenges of this type of hair cut? Straight out of the chair, it's great. Easy maintenance, clean look etc. But the downside is that it takes less than a week for it to grow out and look unkempt, would you agree? The shorter you cut, the quicker it feels unkempt is my opinion.
I'm about to be 24 in a month and my hairline and density is exactly the same as when I was 16. If I notice even the slightest recession or hair loss I'm going to hop on the magic pills, I like looking good and I take pride in my appearance. Nothing wrong with being bald and there shouldn't be a stigma around it however if I can prevent this from even happening from this first place then I will.
A French crop would have been perfect for him......I have now given myself a buzz cut so many times and you would think low maintenance but its the opposite, in a matter of weeks it will not look good anymore and growing it back to a longer length is a horrible proces.....
some of these clients have good donor areas for Hair transplants could you not suggest that for them, because they are not fully bald but only receeding
