    My husband and I use both smartphones (Moto x4 and Pixel 4a) along with a Canon EoS for macro shots of jewelry products. Over the years, we started off with lamps and clamp studio lights covered with parchment paper and 60-100w daylight equivalent bulbs for our photos. Then upgraded to 1800 lumen photography bulbs and light bouncers to help with illumination.
    I completely agree that light is SO critical for good photos but we've still not been able to grok how to get it just right for video.
    Also, my husband is of the 'white background only!' rule and I'm from the 'simple patterns that do not compete with the product' mindset. Your tips were both familiar to me but also new and useful so thank you both for making this video!

    Thanks so much for this! Love creating my products but photography has been a struggle. Amazon Handmade is actually requiring a white background for our main pictures now. All products have to be transitioned to white background by the end of the year so we're all scrambling to achieve that new requirement. Thanks again 💕

    Amy and Mei, Thank you so much for this video. I was struggling to find the best shots for my products. My product photos on a plain white background were just "meh" and not exciting I needed something to make them pop and grab my customer's attention. Your information was just what I needed! I am so excited to incorporate a prop or two and experiment with more neutral/color background options. Thank you again for your great ideas!!

    The word photograph deríves from the Greek photos (ϕοτοσ), light, and graphos (γραοσ), writing, delineation, or painting. Not Latín.

    • @CreativeHiveCo
      @CreativeHiveCo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that's right. It's the word camera that's derived from Latin.
