The new mats look really sharp and it seems they will be nice and comfy on the feet. You were really enjoying seeing Dad stuck in the mud lol. But it is nice to know who else is in the family operation. Having watched all of the videos from oldest to newest, it almost became sort of spooky that there were no other people in your vids. Watched the first vid cuz it popped up, so decided to give it a try. I’m getting a little attached . Absolutely love the blue mats...so pretty. And I hope that people realize standing/walking on concrete for any length of time or consistently, will eventually affect your feet all the way up to your neck. As a neuro/ortho nurse, I’ve seen this so much.

Hi Jan great videos, its nice to be able to see how things are done overseas. Especially how you manage with the cold as I'm from South Africa and it barely freezes in winter. Happy milking
Boumatic mats are just children's play mats, same as dairy master aswell. They are very comfy but cannot be power washed and don't take impacts well. Teemore engineering makes a rubber alternative that is just as comfy, is power washable and lasts much longer. We've had the same Teemore mats in for the last 6 years and they are still as good as new.

Years ago I attached metal plate pieces to each tractor roof with that double sided foam tape. The GPS is up there as well as a satellite radio antenna. It’s lasted for years and years. I also like my old International that actually has a metal roof - no plate needed on that one.

Guys. I am a retired interior designer. About your mats - they are fabulous, I'm sure, but roughly 2/5 are put top down or downside up. If it doesn't matter in terms of which side is better (prolongs the life of the mat) to be up, forget it. If it does matter, it's an easy fix. It shows on my monitor, don't know if you can even tell in real life. Cameras and monitors see things a little differently than our eyes - look at the area first, if you can't see it, look at the video. Start at about 4:46.
Be careful as those break in they will expand and will start to bubble and buckle at the joints because of the nice tight job you did. I have them in my wood shop and have to replace them every couple years but I use harbor freight specials so can't expect to much. But worth every penny.

Judging from the difference in you and your dads tan, he does more outdoor work than you. Nice seeing him and hopefully he’ll get less camera shy. Wonder how long the two different colors of blue tiles are going to be random until someone arranges them in a pattern? And getting stuck in the field - or on the way to and from - is a rite of passage on the prairies. Good times!
i’m sure there are reasons why it hasn’t been done but why haven’t i seen parlours floors with stainless steel plate maybe crowned in the middle that would drain to either edge.
Please flip the lite colored blue mats to see if they are the darker blue on the bottom. Is that OCD ish? You get your moneys worth out of your tow straps. Did I miss the drone footage of the new mats?😁😁

Wondering why you won’t have mold under those mats. Are you pulling them up evertime you power wash the parlor so it dries underneath?

Anti fatigue mats makes a world of difference. I have them at work and when they wear out you know quick.

That's what I kind of thought but they are twice as thick as the HF ones I have and look like a more dense foam to last a little longer.

The floor mats are a big feet saver ! I work in boots on concrete floors 8 hours a day ... have to keep walking to save the feet ....
