With that being said, I do need to take a few months hiatus from the series. At this time, I’m unsure when I’ll be starting up arc 6 on Patreon. During this time, I need to focus on real life stuff, as well as produce and finalize the ML Office AU merch line (which I plan to launch later this year). Please note, I will not be posting arc 6 parts on Patreon during this time off, but I will still continue to fulfill other benefits. When I begin working on arc 6, I will make an announcement on all of my social media, as well as in the TH-cam community tab. Other info to note if you weren’t aware: Aside from all of the voice actors and translators I work with, everything else in this series is done by one person - me. the fact that in 27:10 marinette is talking to tikki but we can't hear her voice 'cause kwamis can't be seen or heard through cameras is such a GREAT detail, i love this series
Love how Chloe is still Chloe with her narcissistic tendency yet so supportive. She knew what she was doing when she talk to Felix and was the only one that actually got through to him that Marinette was happy with him and should try to shoot is shot.
I feel like the writers wrote her as a Villaine and thought we would all hate her so thay didn't give her much thought and when the show dropped everyone just loved her
@frogs2822 My issue with that is, then why do they keep trying to make her pointless? Lyra is a better foil to Marinette and actually succeeds in half her plans. Zoe is a better queen bee, and through her, we learn more about Andre, Chloe's family, and they even made her A GODDAMN LESBIAN THAT SECRETLY HAS A CRUSH ON MARINETTE!!!! Hell, even now, when she gets Akumatised, she's such an afterthought that the class was able to take her down in the background without powers while Marinette worked through her actual problems. They have plenty of story potential with Chloe, whether that be making her a full villain or redeeming her, but they keep choosing to do neither and just make her a generic bully. And i just don't see why, after all the character development they gave her in season 2 and 3. Hell, she was the first person to completely reject Hawk Moth's influence on her own. Even Marinette couldn't do that. Why give her moments like this and do nothing with her character? Edit: To any future people that read this and are confused why I put the lesbian part in caps. A common trope in several miraculous fan creations is to turn Chloe into a lesbian. Then, have her romantically interested in Sabrina or have her in the closet with a crush on Marinette. I'm not mad they made Zoe a lesbian. I'm mad they're using ideas similar to ones fans have come up with to progress Zoe's character and make Chloe more irrelevant. Similar to how Hermione in the Harry Potter movies does all the cool shit Ron did in the books.
Because Thomas Astruc literally hates her with a burning passion and refuses to let her have anything better than being a generic second rate bully/villain. She was practically demoted to being Lila's little sidekick in evil, which is the best writing she's ever going to get in the later seasons through a sense of irony (since Chloe herself was known for having a little evil underling, she was basically placed in that role herself.)
I like that Felix fell in love with Marinette instead of Ladybug in this arc, and that Ladybug and Chat Noir's relationship has just been shown to be a strong partnership so far. There's much more to be seen of LB and CN in this arc but it's just honestly so refreshing not to have to see the complicated love square play out and overcomplicate everything, instead we get more into their civilian lives and actual character development and I just love that
I hope to see more of LB and CN's dynamic! I'd like to take a guess: Felix can let loose and have a lot more fun as chat noir, which probably clashed with Marinette in the beginning since she's been so serious about keeping everyone safe and finding Hawkmoth. I think over time they grew to understand each other and work better as a team, but still have that core difference between fun-loving and business-like.
The show is fun and cute, but I wish the writing was better and everything was less complicated too. And I wish they gave cat noir more attention and a bigger place in the show. It also wouldn’t hurt to make their designs a bit better and creative.

I love how Marinette and Felix here are literally the epitome of “A fell first but B fell harder,” because Mari has always liked Felix since she first met him basically, to the point where she seems to have just sort of blocked her feelings out enough to have normal interactions and just normal day to day life in general. Meanwhile, Felix just… started liking Marinette out of nowhere, so suddenly that he didn’t even have time to realize the feelings himself and had to have someone point it out to him (he’s also maybe a little bit dense but we love him anyways😌). Ugh I LOVE THIS DYNAMIC SO MUCH!
While the character development is amazing for this series, you should to take into account the type of audience, genre, and kind of shows these two different series cater to. The original series is very much a monster-of-the-week, magical girl/superhero action series with romantic overtones (much like Sailor Moon was), which gives us more action scenes, filler, and is made for younger audiences. This fan animated parody series is based on The Office, which is a comedy slice-of-life mockumentary made largely for adults that emphasizes more about the day-to-day interpersonal relationships and less about them being superheroes. We don't get to see the akuma fights or Chat Noir and Ladybug's interactions, which gives this series more time to breathe and focus more on the relationships of the actual characters rather than their costumed aliases. Also, because this is largely based on the original early concepts of Miraculous Ladybug, Felix does not genuinely love Ladybug (since Felix's original goal in that concept was to woo Ladybug because a kiss from her would break his bad luck curse) and finds no issue of choosing between her and Marinette, thus eliminating the love triangle/square debacle that has created so many filler episodes. While Miraculous Ladybug's will-they-won't-they act can be frustrating, it is actually a proven fact that in romance, wanting/longing is better than having, because waiting with hope is better than pining without. If you always get what you want, then your happiness is short term and there is no rich payoff. There IS such a thing as stringing it along too much, but I've seen the show do its best to not make their relationship and concept stale, such as giving us what we want in What If AU situations and new romantic partners. I'm not saying the show is perfect and that they haven't made their fair share of mistakes (throwing Chloe under the bus kind of bombed her character development), but I would recommend to just keep an open mind. All in all, if the original show has taught me anything, it's that despite how badly we want it, Marinette and Adrien will never be truly together until Hawkmoth is defeated- because every time the relationship fails, he is behind it -so it's likely that we won't see them get together until the very end of the show. Until then, we get fun little reprieves like fanfiction, comics, and this animated series.
Felix's "I love you" when marrinette was talking about him in sweatpants gives off the same vibe as Adrien in the show saying "I'm sorry i never went to your dads funeral" after spotting some hoops lol. Great episode and completely worth the wait, loved it as usual.
When I saw Chole I was worried that this show would do a bad job at representing her. But I was surprised to see the show, not only shows Chole's strong will, but also a character arc!
I like the fact that Alya’s technically been part of the cast all along, becoming friends with the rest of the cast Also, the natural way Felix and Marinette grew feelings for each other and are starting to realize it while everyone else already figured it out is just perfect! And the fact that Chloe got a redemption arc and respects Marinette so much is amazing! Luka’s characterization and Marinette’s reason for rejecting Felix is so great too! Oh no, I just saw the ending, he just kissed her without consent, that boy’s gonna get slapped, oof

And Kim and Alix? Their relationship? That's so awesome! They are all! Emzurl, you are! And Sabrina's 'Thats rough buddy'?? Like?? Zuko?? Am I the only one to notice? And that kiss scene? IM SCREAMING ALL RIGHT

The way Felix said “I love you” CHILLS! I think I replayed him saying it like 4 or 5 times, the VA did an incredible job. Incredible kudos to you Em, and the whole cast!
can we all just appreciate the fact that emzuri animated a 29 minute episode that gave us everything, nothing was too complicated, no cliffhangers, everything was understandable AND MOST OF ALL WE GOT A CONFESSION AND KISS IN THE SAME EPISODE, 5 EPISODES IN AND, I'm usually not one to compare art/works but yes, this is definitely better than the og show. do i need to go on?
i was hella squealing throughout most of the episode, everything is so well written and progressed naturally, and animated so beautifully, BUT I FLIPPED AND FAINTED AT THE KISS SCENE, LIKE YASS FELIX BEIN BOLD
I do like how with every episode Felix's voice gets more and more expressive as time goes on. It's a really cute little detail, especially in the you-know-what scene where he really sounds a lot like his Chat Noir self.

Does anyone else notice that the more comfortable felix gets around Marinette and the others, the more he dresses down and lets his hair get naturally messy, making him look more like an older version of Adrien? He started as very similar to canon felix from the original anime version, but now hes relaxing he looks more chill :) he also looks a bit more like Chat when his hair is messy, blurring the lines a bit!

I really loved how they showed Chole as a good character than as depicted in the show. I mean in the show when she on ladybug's team she was so much better than in season 4 (I get it that she was still a brat but that how she was raised)but really think Chole is good character and deserves character development

I love this version of Chloe. She still has that snoob personality but you can see how she grew and what could have happened hidden between the lines. How her and Marinette became more closer
i love the implication that marinette (and by extension felix) can't move away or leave paris too long because of their superhero duties! that detail was really good! i think it highlights their desperation to find hawkmoth because it really interferes with their personal lives. maybe marinette more than felix, but still. also seeing all the classmates was really fun. and allegra, finishing her character development, wanting to kickstart other people's journey to self-improvement was just gold. love that the office gang feels like a proper friend group now and that they offer felix support.
10:35 I love how Claude calls himself a "professional" photographer but he's holding the camera upside down. Also, the stuff about mugs came back around! Not just the interviews at the end but in the break room scene Claude's mug is huge ("I'm more of a gallon guy myself"). I discovered this series just a few days ago and watched it all. You're doing excellent work!

I love everything about this! The ending, the reunion with the middle school class. How are they all so mature. How they want to help the main couple! The ball all the clothes looked so cool! The redesigns were amazing, especially Chloe's hair in marinette's crown. Can we take a moment to appreciate their hair and the crown. Lila SUCKS, PLEASE TELL ME THAT WAS KAGAMI! I wonder who she was talking to, did she tell her parents or was it master fu? Can we all praise the development with all the characters? Allegra, Chloe, Sabrina, and ALIX look the best imo- I loved this arc so much! It was amazing! :D I hope we get to see alia and Felix work together in the future! I'm glad there onto something. I appreciate the writing here to! Normally I hate it when everyone's pushing someone to get together, but here it's just so wonderful! Everything was absolutely wonderful. Before it zooms out you can see Marinette has her purse open so she's talking to Tikki but since kwamis can't be captured on camera it looks like she's talking to herself, that's why she lied about talking to her mom as soon as Felix showed up. It's such a tiny detail but I love that you included that since Marinette goes to Tikki whenever she need help

"You want to ask us about our favorite mugs????" "Claude, I swear to god if you ask them one more question about mugs!" That ending is very on brand for this series. Also Felix and Mari's relationship and how everything had developed this episode. I'm REALLY curious how you develop that going forward. As frustrating as it is that it's been 4 seasons and Mari still hasn't told Adrien how she feels or that the two have shared a kiss without it being an alternate reality bad ending or amnesia, its definitely a writing hurdle that the writers will eventually need to overcome and it's nice to see how fan content tackles it. I can't wait to see the next arc! Please keep up the great work!
It has also dawned on me that Luka's ride is Kagami! I had to go through frame by frame, but the helmet has her little dragon horns from her superhero costume and you actually see her face right before they go off frame.
I've watched this an embarrassingly amount of times... I'M OBSESSED. I love the character development and how you manage to make the scenes align similarly with the original Office show. I literally gasped at the ending and I just love the endless amounts of details put into it. Can't wait to watch until the end :)
I literally screamed when I realized this arc was 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes. This was so incredible! I already want to rewatch it. I love the expressive art and all of the hyping up Felix content in this arc. The ball concept is compelling and so fun in execution. I love the love in this episode. The class shenanigans, Felinette making moves, everything is so perfect! Honestly I feel like the arc of Jim and Pam's love story works even better in the context of miraculous ladybug. This entire AU is so beautifully done. I really appreciate the voice actors' work. I cannot say enough how much I love your art! The facial expressions are so complex and read so clearly as a viewer. Honestly, I'm no longer a miraculous fan. I'm a Miraculous Office AU fan. This was well worth the wait! The collide of the miraculous characters I know and the Agreste Office Characters I have grown to love was so enjoyable. The end bit with Claude and the mugs was priceless. I absolutely died laughing when Allegra called Luka "Blues Clues". Also, may I just say, CLAUDE STARTED THE FIRE!

i love this series’ versions of everyone in this. especially chloe and marinette. in the original show, their character arcs severely underwhelmed me, but this… the development, the relationships, the healthy and interesting portrayals of them both, how they actually act like real interesting characters with personalities. this is so cool!!!

This arc is beyond exceptional, after the mess of the season 4 finale, I'm so glad that we were finale able to see this wonderful masterpiece. Many people have said it before and I will also say it, this is truly magnificent and this is better than the actual show. I was really surprised by the events that took place in this arc, and it will forever be etched into my memories! This story is so good! The art is great and voice acting makes it such a nice experience, but I'm most impressed with the writing. It is so good. I love how the characters grew up but still have some of their original traits. I don't even have words for how well you handled Chloes development. This is a masterpiece.

✨ Now for the important announcement: WE’VE REACHED THE HALFWAY POINT OF THE SERIES!!! 🎉 I have 10 arcs planned overall and arc 5 marks the halfway climax. I started this series back in May 2020 and it’s been quite the ride. I didn’t realize then how big this was going to get, but I’m so thankful! With that being said, I do need to take a few months hiatus from the series. At this time, I’m unsure when I’ll be starting up arc 6 on Patreon.
During this time, I need to focus on real life stuff, as well as produce and finalize the ML Office AU merch line (which I plan to launch later this year). Please note, I will not be posting arc 6 parts on Patreon during this time off, but I will still continue to fulfill other benefits. When I begin working on arc 6, I will make an announcement on all of my social media, as well as in the TH-cam community tab.
Other info to note if you weren’t aware: Aside from all of the voice actors and translators I work with, everything else in this series is done by one person - me. This is why it takes so long to make. Since I work almost full time on this, I use Patreon to support myself financially as well as pay voice actors and translators. This series is NOT made for free, it would be impossible to do that. Hence why I need to fund it through Patreon. I have always planned for this entire series to be released for free, and it will be. But for those who do not subscribe to my Patreon, you’ll have to wait until a full arc is completed before you get it for free. I unfortunately don’t have time to respond to everyone’s comments, so I greatly appreciate those who have taken the time to explain things to others who have asked about this!

@frogs2822 My issue with that is, then why do they keep trying to make her pointless? Lyra is a better foil to Marinette and actually succeeds in half her plans. Zoe is a better queen bee, and through her, we learn more about Andre, Chloe's family, and they even made her A GODDAMN LESBIAN THAT SECRETLY HAS A CRUSH ON MARINETTE!!!! Hell, even now, when she gets Akumatised, she's such an afterthought that the class was able to take her down in the background without powers while Marinette worked through her actual problems. They have plenty of story potential with Chloe, whether that be making her a full villain or redeeming her, but they keep choosing to do neither and just make her a generic bully. And i just don't see why, after all the character development they gave her in season 2 and 3. Hell, she was the first person to completely reject Hawk Moth's influence on her own. Even Marinette couldn't do that. Why give her moments like this and do nothing with her character?
Edit: To any future people that read this and are confused why I put the lesbian part in caps. A common trope in several miraculous fan creations is to turn Chloe into a lesbian. Then, have her romantically interested in Sabrina or have her in the closet with a crush on Marinette. I'm not mad they made Zoe a lesbian. I'm mad they're using ideas similar to ones fans have come up with to progress Zoe's character and make Chloe more irrelevant. Similar to how Hermione in the Harry Potter movies does all the cool shit Ron did in the books.
Because Thomas Astruc literally hates her with a burning passion and refuses to let her have anything better than being a generic second rate bully/villain. She was practically demoted to being Lila's little sidekick in evil, which is the best writing she's ever going to get in the later seasons through a sense of irony (since Chloe herself was known for having a little evil underling, she was basically placed in that role herself.)

I like that Felix fell in love with Marinette instead of Ladybug in this arc, and that Ladybug and Chat Noir's relationship has just been shown to be a strong partnership so far. There's much more to be seen of LB and CN in this arc but it's just honestly so refreshing not to have to see the complicated love square play out and overcomplicate everything, instead we get more into their civilian lives and actual character development and I just love that
I hope to see more of LB and CN's dynamic! I'd like to take a guess: Felix can let loose and have a lot more fun as chat noir, which probably clashed with Marinette in the beginning since she's been so serious about keeping everyone safe and finding Hawkmoth. I think over time they grew to understand each other and work better as a team, but still have that core difference between fun-loving and business-like.

The show is fun and cute, but I wish the writing was better and everything was less complicated too. And I wish they gave cat noir more attention and a bigger place in the show. It also wouldn’t hurt to make their designs a bit better and creative.

I love how Marinette and Felix here are literally the epitome of “A fell first but B fell harder,” because Mari has always liked Felix since she first met him basically, to the point where she seems to have just sort of blocked her feelings out enough to have normal interactions and just normal day to day life in general. Meanwhile, Felix just… started liking Marinette out of nowhere, so suddenly that he didn’t even have time to realize the feelings himself and had to have someone point it out to him (he’s also maybe a little bit dense but we love him anyways😌). Ugh I LOVE THIS DYNAMIC SO MUCH!
Take notes original creators of MLB. They need to do something with their character development because this was 100% better than the original.

While the character development is amazing for this series, you should to take into account the type of audience, genre, and kind of shows these two different series cater to. The original series is very much a monster-of-the-week, magical girl/superhero action series with romantic overtones (much like Sailor Moon was), which gives us more action scenes, filler, and is made for younger audiences. This fan animated parody series is based on The Office, which is a comedy slice-of-life mockumentary made largely for adults that emphasizes more about the day-to-day interpersonal relationships and less about them being superheroes.
We don't get to see the akuma fights or Chat Noir and Ladybug's interactions, which gives this series more time to breathe and focus more on the relationships of the actual characters rather than their costumed aliases. Also, because this is largely based on the original early concepts of Miraculous Ladybug, Felix does not genuinely love Ladybug (since Felix's original goal in that concept was to woo Ladybug because a kiss from her would break his bad luck curse) and finds no issue of choosing between her and Marinette, thus eliminating the love triangle/square debacle that has created so many filler episodes.
While Miraculous Ladybug's will-they-won't-they act can be frustrating, it is actually a proven fact that in romance, wanting/longing is better than having, because waiting with hope is better than pining without. If you always get what you want, then your happiness is short term and there is no rich payoff. There IS such a thing as stringing it along too much, but I've seen the show do its best to not make their relationship and concept stale, such as giving us what we want in What If AU situations and new romantic partners. I'm not saying the show is perfect and that they haven't made their fair share of mistakes (throwing Chloe under the bus kind of bombed her character development), but I would recommend to just keep an open mind.
All in all, if the original show has taught me anything, it's that despite how badly we want it, Marinette and Adrien will never be truly together until Hawkmoth is defeated- because every time the relationship fails, he is behind it -so it's likely that we won't see them get together until the very end of the show. Until then, we get fun little reprieves like fanfiction, comics, and this animated series.
The series practically became a dumpsterfire ever since Zack got the director(?) position. I am still salty about how they treated Chloe.
Felix's "I love you" when marrinette was talking about him in sweatpants gives off the same vibe as Adrien in the show saying "I'm sorry i never went to your dads funeral" after spotting some hoops lol.
Great episode and completely worth the wait, loved it as usual.

I mean in the show when she on ladybug's team she was so much better than in season 4 (I get it that she was still a brat but that how she was raised)but really think Chole is good character and deserves character development

i love the implication that marinette (and by extension felix) can't move away or leave paris too long because of their superhero duties! that detail was really good! i think it highlights their desperation to find hawkmoth because it really interferes with their personal lives. maybe marinette more than felix, but still.
also seeing all the classmates was really fun. and allegra, finishing her character development, wanting to kickstart other people's journey to self-improvement was just gold. love that the office gang feels like a proper friend group now and that they offer felix support.

The ending, the reunion with the middle school class. How are they all so mature. How they want to help the main couple! The ball all the clothes looked so cool! The redesigns were amazing, especially Chloe's hair in marinette's crown. Can we take a moment to appreciate their hair and the crown. Lila SUCKS, PLEASE TELL ME THAT WAS KAGAMI! I wonder who she was talking to, did she tell her parents or was it master fu? Can we all praise the development with all the characters? Allegra, Chloe, Sabrina, and ALIX look the best imo-
I loved this arc so much! It was amazing! :D I hope we get to see alia and Felix work together in the future! I'm glad there onto something. I appreciate the writing here to! Normally I hate it when everyone's pushing someone to get together, but here it's just so wonderful! Everything was absolutely wonderful. And the animation was absolutely 100% perfection in the last scene!

Before it zooms out you can see Marinette has her purse open so she's talking to Tikki but since kwamis can't be captured on camera it looks like she's talking to herself, that's why she lied about talking to her mom as soon as Felix showed up. It's such a tiny detail but I love that you included that since Marinette goes to Tikki whenever she need help

Also Felix and Mari's relationship and how everything had developed this episode. I'm REALLY curious how you develop that going forward. As frustrating as it is that it's been 4 seasons and Mari still hasn't told Adrien how she feels or that the two have shared a kiss without it being an alternate reality bad ending or amnesia, its definitely a writing hurdle that the writers will eventually need to overcome and it's nice to see how fan content tackles it. I can't wait to see the next arc! Please keep up the great work!
It has also dawned on me that Luka's ride is Kagami! I had to go through frame by frame, but the helmet has her little dragon horns from her superhero costume and you actually see her face right before they go off frame.

I've watched this an embarrassingly amount of times... I'M OBSESSED. I love the character development and how you manage to make the scenes align similarly with the original Office show. I literally gasped at the ending and I just love the endless amounts of details put into it. Can't wait to watch until the end :)

I literally screamed when I realized this arc was 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes. This was so incredible! I already want to rewatch it. I love the expressive art and all of the hyping up Felix content in this arc. The ball concept is compelling and so fun in execution. I love the love in this episode. The class shenanigans, Felinette making moves, everything is so perfect! Honestly I feel like the arc of Jim and Pam's love story works even better in the context of miraculous ladybug. This entire AU is so beautifully done. I really appreciate the voice actors' work. I cannot say enough how much I love your art! The facial expressions are so complex and read so clearly as a viewer. Honestly, I'm no longer a miraculous fan. I'm a Miraculous Office AU fan. This was well worth the wait! The collide of the miraculous characters I know and the Agreste Office Characters I have grown to love was so enjoyable. The end bit with Claude and the mugs was priceless. I absolutely died laughing when Allegra called Luka "Blues Clues". Also, may I just say, CLAUDE STARTED THE FIRE!

This story is so good! The art is great and voice acting makes it such a nice experience, but I'm most impressed with the writing. It is so good. I love how the characters grew up but still have some of their original traits. I don't even have words for how well you handled Chloes development. This is a masterpiece.
