The reason it was so good was because it had so many feels… the majority of fans are now adults and it was very adult oriented, I had tears in a few scenes… the bit at the end where Cat Noir is trying to talk to Ladybug… the emotion in his voice had me in tears… He was faltering and trying to get the words out, and he couldn’t even tell ladybug why he’s upset because it will reveal their identity! So many feels!
I agree, the emotions were crazy in this special... there's plenty of inconsistencies with the time travel aspect & allegedly the akumatization bit (I need to do my own research to confirm that), but at the end of the day, do small plot inconsistencies really matter if the emotional weight/tension was fantastic? This special made it clear that this show has what it takes to be good, even though the season 5 finale pissed me off so bad 😭

Chloe was written to be a character who’s not going to really change for the better clear by how every single time she does something that seems good, there’s always something at the end of that action, if she really wants to change, she should change not because of the incentive she could get, as the incentives may not always be there but she should change because she really wants to for it to work, sadly she chose to only change when there’s some kind of incentive for her, which means she would never truly change for the better and will go back to being a horrible person once she has the opportunity.
i just think that she has never had a good reason to do so. i mean, all the times she tried to be a good person (ss2) was because it would benefit her in some way (getting to hold the miraculous, being friend with adrian, being trusted by ladybug, being a superhero, gaining love and respect from people....). unlike many other ex-villains who had their redemption arcs (natalie, shadybug, claw noir, maybe felix and gabriel..), she has never gone through a crucial event that would change her for good. but after what happened to her in the final eps of ss5 (losing pretty much everything) i think we can look forward to her redemption arc in ss6

This special was actually WILD, the time travel, Lila being confirmed as the main villan, super crazy! But you are right we need to see Chloe as queen bee again!!!
If they're actually going to reintroduce Chloé again, they had better figure out a way to fix her character and not give her a half-assed redemption like with Félix.
It’s because the animation engine was outdated and the old models weren’t compatible with it anymore so they had to remake the models to not have issues
Things i didn't like: The fact that Alix will have to be away from her classmates even longer; Adrien basically having no role in this chapter; Lila first time using a Miraculous and legit wins meanwhile Gabriel struggled to win once. Things i liked: More Bunnix. Time-related Akuma. I swear Season 6 better have Adrien finding out the truth.
I'd said once in another video, and I'll say it again: This is the saddest special/episode in all of Miraculous, and I dare say it surpasses the "Shadybug and Claw Noir" special (at least in terms of emotion and drama). I don't know what you think about it, but this special had several feelings of grief and melancholy: seeing mostly all of the characters sad was heartbreaking to see. Also, Lila/Cerise/Iris (whoever her name is 🙄...) is totally a clever and intimidating new villain (maybe more than Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth could have been), if they structure her character well, she may even surpass him 😈😰.
True I hate Lila with a passion but she’s a very clever person, she’s been on this mission since we first met her (I hate her because of how she’s full of lies she’s just annoying to me but this special is making me grow more on her I really do hope they write her well for season 6)
I think he’s gonna forgive her is because of main character superpowers and Thomas is willing to do anything to convince the viewers that Mari and Adrien were “made for each other”,just using mlb logic

The end scene of LadyNoir takes me back to their old times whenever they finished battles together, especially during season finales where Ladybug often times doubt they could beat Hawkmoth (S2, S3, S4). And no matter what, Chat Noir would always be there to tell her “it’s like the old times, my lady, just you and me against the world” 😭❤

I hope they break up when Adrien realizes she lied. Don’t get me wrong. Marinette’s literally just a kid and she’s been put in an impossible situation so it’s not like I blame her for her decision. But I still think it was the wrong decision. Adrien has a right to know, especially after everything he’s been through with losing his mom and the way his father treated him. He’s idolizing Gabriel rn, cause he has no idea who he really was. I PRAY that when this comes to light Adrien will get a well deserved chance to be angry. But knowing the writers for this show it probably won’t 😭
In a way, Marinette is acting like Gabriel when she refuses Adrien’s autonomy (regarding how he should feel about his father) for the sake of a false happiness
But throughout the episode, marinette keeps asking almost the people she know whether she made the right decision or not. She wasn’t sure of whether it was right or wrong. She is of course upset but whatever happens in the future, it will happen either way. She even mentioned she wanted to tell Adrien everything but it seemed impossible because of the situation that adrien still cares for his father even after everything he did

I’m with you. Season 5 destroyed all of the great tension that Season 4 and it’s Finale built. I was pretty much done with Miraculous after the travesty that was the Season 5 Finale. The Paris Special and this Special have successfully changed my mind. They’re just epic. They’re what we’ve been waiting for this whole time-the show is finally putting some effort in.

You are so right about miraculous not being "it" lately, I thought it was only me but season 5 was like the most boring season ever (since adrienette happened over night, of course), I didn't even care to watch fully animated finale after I saw leaks. When I saw that London special is coming out I wasn't even excited like I would usually be but it was a good special and gave me little of that "fangirl" feeling again.
Paternal is used for father figures, maternal is for mothers. I think Natalie’s redemption was good. I loved how she thought Gabriel was nuts and tried to help Ladybug in the last season. Plus they had to make her good to continue this storyline of the lie. Where would Adrien have gone to live if Natalie had gone to jail? He’s still a minor so he couldn’t just live at the mansion on his own. But I suppose his aunt would have got involved in that case?? Anyhoo…
I liked Natalie's arc as well, it was set up through out the last season. In the first episode of season 5 she literally goes off on Gabriel about how she thought it went too far.
I get that you like Nathalie's redemption right there, but to me, I'd say that she got redeemed a little too late. Besides, are we really going to forget her unconditional love for Gabriel in season three?
I REALLY wished Natalie had broken the news about Gabriel’s death. I feel she was the best person to do it, since she truly loves adrien more than anyone. Despite her shortcomings. Also I really wished marinette never lied, she knows what happened with chat blanc and how adrien doesn’t like to be lied to. And she still kept the secret for chat who expressed the same dislike for her lying to him. When the truth comes out it maybe a vs battle between ladybug and chat because he’s going to resent and hate her.

Guys, are we not going to talk about the other MAJOR plot hole in this special? The episode explains that Lila loses her memories when she de-akumatizes herself. That makes no sense! Gabrielle, Nathalie, Chloe, and Lila herself have all kept their memories after being de-akumatized, especially because their akumatizations weren't influenced by mind control. Heck, Ladybug and Cat Noir kept their memories when they were transformed by Betterfly in the Paris special!
The only loophole I can think of is maybe since Lila is only a teen, her powers has limits like how ladybug and chat noir had limited time and power usage. The better fly explanation I have no clue
Maybe in better fly, the reason why they retained their memories was because Gabriel was an adult. But since Lila is still a teen, she has side effects, one of them being memory loss.

Lila has been shown to be way smarter than hawkmoth, and while that isn't a huge bar, it would so mean that her strategies to get the miraculouses would be different too. Someone else said that rather than obsessing over the cat and ladybug, she's going to go after Felix's for her plans and that would completely change the trajectory of the show. I really hope Thomas can show her intellect in these high-stakes situations.

That's probably going to happen in season six but I don't think she ever will tell him he's most likely going to find out through Lila or any other indirect means, Cat Noir does know Ladybug didn't tell him the full truth she said it herself but he just understands it's a hard experience for her so he doesn't question it but he will probably find out in the end,this special never tried to say Marinette was in the right for portraying Gabriel as a hero it was just her own dilemma,so the truth will eventually get out
3:06 EXACTLY!! HER CHARACTER IMPROVEMENT WAS JUST SO INCREDIBLE, SHE BECAME SO MATURE AND NICE!! I'm so sure, she was also okay with Marrinete and Adrian's relationship. She was also becoming so nice but then the show ruined her improvement by introducing Zoe and Lila and also Monarch was responsible for it!! Chloé never really did anything to anyone, she was pushed for it always, never loved, ignored, she had just one friend, whom also she almost never got to meet everyday, a crush and it was also snatched, she had one hope, JUST ONE HOPE. Ladybug but she also ignored her and choose her stepsister. I hope she also returns in the show with a much better life and helps Marrinete this time.
I have hope for the future of the series after seeing the special episode. I feel that cerise is a very good villain and because of her abilities in the episode, I think she’s going to make it extremely difficult for ladybug and the other heroes to take her down because she is too smart and talented. Because marinette is older, she’ll be better to handle her life in a more stable way, of course still have her usual personality traits 😊 there will be good storyline which I hope so. Or I would like it if there many interesting plot twists

Gotta explain about the change of style: They explained that the main reason that the style changed was because the old models can’t be used anymore because of outdated software So they updated it so they can hold on for “at least the next 10 years” I know that’s kinda stupid they changed it THAT much, but okay ig🤷♂️ Honestly it’s not too bad but imo the style got a little too “common” Like it looks like just another ordinary kids show, Idk if that’s just me but a lot of shows have lowkey similar model styles nowadays-

But now that it has an actual storyline and plot points that need to be understood (along with five seasons to wrap up the first villain), only preexisting fans will want to stay around and they’re all adults who I feel will inevitably get tired of the show’s potential being restricted for being a kids show and the story getting dragged out endlessly. @@ethancox9737 To be fair that is the intended outcome of the show. You’re SUPPOSED to be annoyed with Ladybug! Even Marinette herself doubts her choices and feels extreme guilt for what she did. I’m honestly pretty happy with how it happened. While at the time of the final for Season 5 it seemed pretty stupid why Cat Noir wasn’t there, the dynamic and the potential it has between Ladybug and Cat Noir has increased ten fold. We could FINALLY get an official (not time reversed or anything) akumatized Cat Noir once he finds out! It could also destroy Ladybug’s reputation and relationships when the truth comes out. So in all, I think it is a very interesting plot device to have! I just hope they don’t delay it for another five seasons…

i think they did a pretty good job explaining some things like why Gabriel is seen as a hero. at first i thought that the writers themselves literally saw him as a good person but it's just Marinette lying about to truth to not hurt Adrien. Though i do agree that she should have told him te truth because Adrien was already noticing how bad his dad actually is and now that he thinks Gabriel sacrificed himself he is just going to feel even more guilt about not being more lovable to his dad even though he was being manipulated and treated wrong. Plus aventually he is going to find out and than marinette and the others will have an even bigger problem because now he can't even trust the only people he has left. Like you kinda put yourself in a trap by lying. not only that but the Lie didn't make him feel any better than if you told him the truth so might aswell be truthful
I guess you're kind of right it did still hurt him,but in a way he atleast now has the peace of mind that his dad appearently had a "reason" for his actions,he literally lives with the current thought that his father was a hero who was coerced to do horrible things and sacrificed himself for his son's happiness it would still objectively be a better thing knowing that than knowing that his father was a supervillain and everything he did to him all the emotional abuse,the isolation and the controlling was done out of his own selfish will,and that the only good thing he ever did was give his life for a selfish desire to just reunite with his wife all the while springing all of his baggage onto his partner's shoulders,and not even mentioning the fact it was literally because of Cat Noir(himself)that Gabriel was even dying to begin with, that truth not even Marinette knew even if it weren't for the wish Gabriel would've still died because of the cataclysm, Adrien would've been the indirect cause of his own father's death that would further devastate him. He still deserves to know the truth and he probably will in the end but Marinette saying the lie was her own desperate means of giving him some comfort, it's a flawed decision at the end of the day.
This special was honestly not bad at all, I also didn’t really care about it until now, for the last time we will ever see SAMG, this was a great way to end it off! 😆

The Kwami's had to be with their holders season five ended with the whole team receiving their miraculous,the reason Ladybug said that to Cat Noir is despite everyone being there he's still the most important person to her out of the entire team she may not be able to tell him the truth at the moment but she still cares a lot about him he's still the person she trusts the most, it may sound hypocritic but she's still trying not to repeat the same mistakes in season four with the team,this time around she's assuring him they will be equals in the team they are both the leaders.

4:15 If I'm honest, (This will be long) I'd like one of three things if Adrien finds out the truth. Either he becomes a kind of Batman with trust issues and is the one in charge of everything (except purifying akumas because "Astruc rules") or he gets to kill as a hero, the second thing that is much more likely to happen is the return of Chat Blanc but it not being a "what if chapter". And the third is that he is the true final boss of the series after defeating Lila. I think Adrien has every right to become a villain, and I wouldn't mind if we saw Claw again and he gave him the talk to make him understand that he is wrong. Although let's be honest, he'll forgive her immediately because they haven't given us a character arc since the battle of the queens and I highly doubt they'll do it again.

Fair enough, but I honestly want two things to happen this season, 1. Adrien finds out the truth, breaks up with Marinette, and finally decides to cataclysm his father's statue in a pit of rage. 2. Ceris/Iris befriending Marinette to keep a close eye on her. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Nathalie Stan here🙌🏻 She always been there for Adrien, take a look at chat blanc. Listen to her voice, look at her eyes when she found out adrien is chat noir. She wanted him to pull movie Gabriel but it Gabriel ofc he wouldn’t care. I feel like in the early season she probably still miss Emilie just like Gabriel. Oh and I did feel like there probably something other than what I’ve said to make Nathalie work for the Agreste unconditionally.
The animation change was actually explained! It was due to animation assets not working for the old animation style, and a soft reboot of the series So-
I just hated the praise Marionette was given. Her speech about only ladybugs having the “truth” just pissed me off to no end. Lila doesn't really give me anything to go off of, she doesn't interest me at all to consider her a threat (not now at least). I hated all the secret-keeping, it was too hard to watch literally Adrien goes through this. The two of them both seem so toxic to me. Marionette having all control while Adiren literally has NO AGENCY in the major decisions if his own life. It horrible, I mean like marionette it a monster for keeping that to herself, god the rehearsed lies are awful. The new animation style downs really phase me, personally, they look better to me. I never really liked Adrien in the first style but in the new style he actually looks better on the eyes. I might be the only one in the world who like the new styled Adrien 😂
I expected more. It was just Evolution part 2. Special Londo was like 3 minutes in London. I hoped that the Villain was from the future and Ladybug should have gone from the Future in London to find out who is the villain. The part of dealing with Gabriel and Adrien is perfect and super realistic. This special was just to end the Gabriel Arc and Starting the Cerise one. But there are many things still uncovered: what happened when Cerise in the finale of re-creation saw a blue light behind there? It can't be herself traveling through time. When did she get the Butterfly Miraculous? When Ladybug and Nathalie went to the kwamis? If Bunnix still stay in the burrow why she is in the finale of re-creation?

I mean if they brushed it all aside and acted like it didn't happen that would be stupid but this special did have Marinette go through an internal dilemma constantly asking others if she made the right choice, it's her burden and the way the story plays out she is still going to have to face it, Adrien will find out that's inevitable but for good story progress certain means of conflict are necessary,you aren't meant to believe Marinette is in the right for hiding it from Adrien that's the thing her decision is inherently flawed, she chose to lie for everyone's peace of mind instead of telling the truth is it still wrong? obviously but it is still understandable why she did it. I'm still Hoping it does develop into a storyline,it could provide charecter development for everyone if that secret gets out

Im desperate to find out Lila’s wish and motives but I bet it won’t be revealed for a while (like how Gabriel’s wish and motives were revealed in the final episode of season 1). Also she’s going to be the butterfly holder for over a decade since time tagger happens 10 years later (get ready for the reveal to happen in season 25 😒).
@@ishashifar well they said they have plans for up to 12 seasons and even more, but it depends on how the show does in the future. If it starts to flop then they do up to season 8, but it’s doing good at the moment so I think they might extend it to 10+ seasons. Season 6 is a time jump too I don’t think they’d do a huge time jump in season 7-8, and I think they did say once that they had no plans to do one (this was said in 2021 however)
6:45 i feel like M/LB will eventually teach herself off-screen on how to be better on dodging attacks & finding better ways to deal with villains. Because the clip i just saw seems like she's getting the hang of dodging a little more than before

I loved this special, but not as much as the Paris special. That one is still my favorite. The absence of Cat Noir in this episode made it feel kinda dry. Chronobug’s outfit was okay but the yellow was just such a random decision that the episode never explained, probably because she was wearing a hi-vis jacket or whatever. I love the glow-in-the-dark effect tho, that was really cool but not so effective as a stealth suit which I think they were going for. Anyways this comment is getting too long. Throughout pretty much the entirety of season 5 Natalie had turned on Gabriel. She gave him a way to prevent his wife from having died, and he wasted it going after Ladybug instead. After that, the two argued constantly and she refused to help him in his nefarious schemes.
I am SUPER conflicted with season six, mainly because I have negative hope for it. I wanted to watch seasons one and two, but the more I hear about the show's getting more convoluted and melodramatic (probably too melodramatic for a kidshow), the more I want to stray away from the show altogether. I will never understand why the writers would make such decisions like Adrien never becoming his own character, or Lila becoming a full-fledged supervillain in a weird way, or even "damning" Chloé's character. Many of you are free to enjoy the show and hope for the best, but for me, I'll just be standing in the dark background, being utterly melancholic about the show's story quality.
i absolutely LOVED this special and i do agree with you that adrinette should break up like they arent it for me. also i LOVE ladynoir and i cannot deal with the fact that this is the last time i would be seeing them with his animation 😭. i dont like the new animation style so idk if i would watch s6 bc of this.
I enjoy Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir but I'm also critical of it for certain choices but this definitely was a step in the right direction taking a more mature & dark turn by finally having Marinette look inward to confront herself to face the mistakes she made while trying to deal with the weight of her guilt it definitely felt sort of like a really good Spider-Man story line.
What I really wish for is that a miraculous special for Africa was introduced It would show case some unique things in Africa in relation to the series especially the ancient gods and powers which were used in the past by Africans I think that would be a great idea As for where the special should be set probably Lagos in Nigeria

The reason it was so good was because it had so many feels… the majority of fans are now adults and it was very adult oriented, I had tears in a few scenes… the bit at the end where Cat Noir is trying to talk to Ladybug… the emotion in his voice had me in tears… He was faltering and trying to get the words out, and he couldn’t even tell ladybug why he’s upset because it will reveal their identity! So many feels!
I agree, the emotions were crazy in this special... there's plenty of inconsistencies with the time travel aspect & allegedly the akumatization bit (I need to do my own research to confirm that), but at the end of the day, do small plot inconsistencies really matter if the emotional weight/tension was fantastic? This special made it clear that this show has what it takes to be good, even though the season 5 finale pissed me off so bad 😭

i just think that she has never had a good reason to do so. i mean, all the times she tried to be a good person (ss2) was because it would benefit her in some way (getting to hold the miraculous, being friend with adrian, being trusted by ladybug, being a superhero, gaining love and respect from people....). unlike many other ex-villains who had their redemption arcs (natalie, shadybug, claw noir, maybe felix and gabriel..), she has never gone through a crucial event that would change her for good. but after what happened to her in the final eps of ss5 (losing pretty much everything) i think we can look forward to her redemption arc in ss6

This is the saddest special/episode in all of Miraculous, and I dare say it surpasses the "Shadybug and Claw Noir" special (at least in terms of emotion and drama).
I don't know what you think about it, but this special had several feelings of grief and melancholy: seeing mostly all of the characters sad was heartbreaking to see.
Also, Lila/Cerise/Iris (whoever her name is 🙄...) is totally a clever and intimidating new villain (maybe more than Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth could have been), if they structure her character well, she may even surpass him 😈😰.

The end scene of LadyNoir takes me back to their old times whenever they finished battles together, especially during season finales where Ladybug often times doubt they could beat Hawkmoth (S2, S3, S4). And no matter what, Chat Noir would always be there to tell her “it’s like the old times, my lady, just you and me against the world” 😭❤
The animation in all the specials is PEAK. I wish they made it that good for season 6 instead of changing it completely.

I hope they break up when Adrien realizes she lied. Don’t get me wrong. Marinette’s literally just a kid and she’s been put in an impossible situation so it’s not like I blame her for her decision. In a way, Marinette is acting like Gabriel when she refuses Adrien’s autonomy (regarding how he should feel about his father) for the sake of a false happiness
But throughout the episode, marinette keeps asking almost the people she know whether she made the right decision or not. She wasn’t sure of whether it was right or wrong. She is of course upset but whatever happens in the future, it will happen either way. She even mentioned she wanted to tell Adrien everything but it seemed impossible because of the situation that adrien still cares for his father even after everything he did

You are so right about miraculous not being "it" lately, I thought it was only me but season 5 was like the most boring season ever (since adrienette happened over night, of course), I didn't even care to watch fully animated finale after I saw leaks. When I saw that London special is coming out I wasn't even excited like I would usually be but it was a good special and gave me little of that "fangirl" feeling again.
Paternal is used for father figures, maternal is for mothers. I think Natalie’s redemption was good. I loved how she thought Gabriel was nuts and tried to help Ladybug in the last season. Plus they had to make her good to continue this storyline of the lie. Where would Adrien have gone to live if Natalie had gone to jail? He’s still a minor so he couldn’t just live at the mansion on his own. But I suppose his aunt would have got involved in that case?? Anyhoo…
I liked Natalie's arc as well, it was set up through out the last season. In the first episode of season 5 she literally goes off on Gabriel about how she thought it went too far.

I REALLY wished Natalie had broken the news about Gabriel’s death. I feel she was the best person to do it, since she truly loves adrien more than anyone. Despite her shortcomings. Also I really wished marinette never lied, she knows what happened with chat blanc and how adrien doesn’t like to be lied to. And she still kept the secret for chat who expressed the same dislike for her lying to him. When the truth comes out it maybe a vs battle between ladybug and chat because he’s going to resent and hate her.

Guys, are we not going to talk about the other MAJOR plot hole in this special? The episode explains that Lila loses her memories when she de-akumatizes herself. That makes no sense! Gabrielle, Nathalie, Chloe, and Lila herself have all kept their memories after being de-akumatized, especially because their akumatizations weren't influenced by mind control. Heck, Ladybug and Cat Noir kept their memories when they were transformed by Betterfly in the Paris special!
The only loophole I can think of is maybe since Lila is only a teen, her powers has limits like how ladybug and chat noir had limited time and power usage. The better fly explanation I have no clue
Maybe in better fly, the reason why they retained their memories was because Gabriel was an adult. But since Lila is still a teen, she has side effects, one of them being memory loss.

Lila has been shown to be way smarter than hawkmoth, and while that isn't a huge bar, it would so mean that her strategies to get the miraculouses would be different too. Someone else said that rather than obsessing over the cat and ladybug, she's going to go after Felix's for her plans and that would completely change the trajectory of the show. I really hope Thomas can show her intellect in these high-stakes situations.

They explained that the main reason that the style changed was because the old models can’t be used anymore because of outdated software
So they updated it so they can hold on for “at least the next 10 years”

But now that it has an actual storyline and plot points that need to be understood (along with five seasons to wrap up the first villain), only preexisting fans will want to stay around and they’re all adults who I feel will inevitably get tired of the show’s potential being restricted for being a kids show and the story getting dragged out endlessly. The new kids that would want to watch wouldn’t easily be able to catch up (they still could due to streaming services, but still). So now I’m just confused at who they’re catering to

@@ethancox9737 To be fair that is the intended outcome of the show. You’re SUPPOSED to be annoyed with Ladybug! Even Marinette herself doubts her choices and feels extreme guilt for what she did. I’m honestly pretty happy with how it happened. While at the time of the final for Season 5 it seemed pretty stupid why Cat Noir wasn’t there, the dynamic and the potential it has between Ladybug and Cat Noir has increased ten fold. We could FINALLY get an official (not time reversed or anything) akumatized Cat Noir once he finds out! It could also destroy Ladybug’s reputation and relationships when the truth comes out. So in all, I think it is a very interesting plot device to have! I just hope they don’t delay it for another five seasons…

i think they did a pretty good job explaining some things like why Gabriel is seen as a hero. at first i thought that the writers themselves literally saw him as a good person but it's just Marinette lying about to truth to not hurt Adrien. Though i do agree that she should have told him te truth because Adrien was already noticing how bad his dad actually is and now that he thinks Gabriel sacrificed himself he is just going to feel even more guilt about not being more lovable to his dad even though he was being manipulated and treated wrong.
Plus aventually he is going to find out and than marinette and the others will have an even bigger problem because now he can't even trust the only people he has left. Like you kinda put yourself in a trap by lying. not only that but the Lie didn't make him feel any better than if you told him the truth so might aswell be truthful
I guess you're kind of right it did still hurt him,but in a way he atleast now has the peace of mind that his dad appearently had a "reason" for his actions,he literally lives with the current thought that his father was a hero who was coerced to do horrible things and sacrificed himself for his son's happiness it would still objectively be a better thing knowing that than knowing that his father was a supervillain and everything he did to him all the emotional abuse,the isolation and the controlling was done out of his own selfish will,and that the only good thing he ever did was give his life for a selfish desire to just reunite with his wife all the while springing all of his baggage onto his partner's shoulders,and not even mentioning the fact it was literally because of Cat Noir(himself)that Gabriel was even dying to begin with, that truth not even Marinette knew even if it weren't for the wish Gabriel would've still died because of the cataclysm, Adrien would've been the indirect cause of his own father's death that would further devastate him.
He still deserves to know the truth and he probably will in the end but Marinette saying the lie was her own desperate means of giving him some comfort, it's a flawed decision at the end of the day.

Chat noir was put in the dark again...marinette said to the kwamis that she will let them stay with their holder, and then the next scene she tells chat noir they will be a duo like before...like...wtf😭😭 we are going in circles again..

The Kwami's had to be with their holders season five ended with the whole team receiving their miraculous,the reason Ladybug said that to Cat Noir is despite everyone being there he's still the most important person to her out of the entire team she may not be able to tell him the truth at the moment but she still cares a lot about him he's still the person she trusts the most, it may sound hypocritic but she's still trying not to repeat the same mistakes in season four with the team,this time around she's assuring him they will be equals in the team they are both the leaders.

the way the writers said that a bully cant get redeemed like that because thats just not real life i think but a whole terrorist gets forgiven after basically destroying a place traumatizing a poor 14 yr old making her stressed cry be depressed and shit but chloe who pulled pranks though made her not want to come to school valid for marinette to not like her but honestly chloe should get redeemed imo
4:15 If I'm honest, (This will be long) I'd like one of three things if Adrien finds out the truth. Either he becomes a kind of Batman with trust issues and is the one in charge of everything (except purifying akumas because "Astruc rules") or he gets to kill as a hero, the second thing that is much more likely to happen is the return of Chat Blanc but it not being a "what if chapter". And the third is that he is the true final boss of the series after defeating Lila. I think Adrien has every right to become a villain, and I wouldn't mind if we saw Claw again and he gave him the talk to make him understand that he is wrong. Although let's be honest, he'll forgive her immediately because they haven't given us a character arc since the battle of the queens and I highly doubt they'll do it again.

Fair enough, but I honestly want two things to happen this season,
1. Adrien finds out the truth, breaks up with Marinette, and finally decides to cataclysm his father's statue in a pit of rage.
2. Ceris/Iris befriending Marinette to keep a close eye on her.

Unlike, his mother who loved him no matter what... Adrien had an abusive relationship with his father so, him having an epiphany wouldn't make as much sense to me?

I’m literally so upset abt the animation style change 😭 Most of the audience is now in their mid to late teens (or maybe even early adulthood) because the show has been running for so long and the new animation style looks so childish??? I KNOW ITS A CHILDRENS SHOW but like I said the audience has grown along with the show. I hope that makes sense 😭
Nathalie Stan here🙌🏻 She always been there for Adrien, take a look at chat blanc. Listen to her voice, look at her eyes when she found out adrien is chat noir. She wanted him to pull movie Gabriel but it Gabriel ofc he wouldn’t care. I feel like in the early season she probably still miss Emilie just like Gabriel. Oh and I did feel like there probably something other than what I’ve said to make Nathalie work for the Agreste unconditionally.

I just hated the praise Marionette was given. Her speech about only ladybugs having the “truth” just pissed me off to no end.
Lila doesn't really give me anything to go off of, she doesn't interest me at all to consider her a threat (not now at least).
I hated all the secret-keeping, it was too hard to watch literally Adrien goes through this. The two of them both seem so toxic to me. Marionette having all control while Adiren literally has NO AGENCY in the major decisions if his own life. It horrible, I mean like marionette it a monster for keeping that to herself, god the rehearsed lies are awful.
The new animation style downs really phase me, personally, they look better to me. I never really liked Adrien in the first style but in the new style he actually looks better on the eyes. I might be the only one in the world who like the new styled Adrien 😂
I expected more. It was just Evolution part 2. Special Londo was like 3 minutes in London. I hoped that the Villain was from the future and Ladybug should have gone from the Future in London to find out who is the villain. The part of dealing with Gabriel and Adrien is perfect and super realistic. This special was just to end the Gabriel Arc and Starting the Cerise one. But there are many things still uncovered: what happened when Cerise in the finale of re-creation saw a blue light behind there? It can't be herself traveling through time. When did she get the Butterfly Miraculous? When Ladybug and Nathalie went to the kwamis? If Bunnix still stay in the burrow why she is in the finale of re-creation?
What was so great about dealing with Gabriel and Adrien?

I mean if they brushed it all aside and acted like it didn't happen that would be stupid but this special did have Marinette go through an internal dilemma constantly asking others if she made the right choice, it's her burden and the way the story plays out she is still going to have to face it, Adrien will find out that's inevitable but for good story progress certain means of conflict are necessary,you aren't meant to believe Marinette is in the right for hiding it from Adrien that's the thing her decision is inherently flawed, she chose to lie for everyone's peace of mind instead of telling the truth is it still wrong? obviously but it is still understandable why she did it.
I'm still Hoping it does develop into a storyline,it could provide charecter development for everyone if that secret gets out

I don’t care on the animation style the only part I care about is being able to watch the shows.
Im desperate to find out Lila’s wish and motives but I bet it won’t be revealed for a while (like how Gabriel’s wish and motives were revealed in the final episode of season 1). Also she’s going to be the butterfly holder for over a decade since time tagger happens 10 years later (get ready for the reveal to happen in season 25 😒).
Only up to season eight has been planned so far so ....either they change the timeline or defeat her early or timeskip I guess
@@ishashifar well they said they have plans for up to 12 seasons and even more, but it depends on how the show does in the future. If it starts to flop then they do up to season 8, but it’s doing good at the moment so I think they might extend it to 10+ seasons.
Season 6 is a time jump too I don’t think they’d do a huge time jump in season 7-8, and I think they did say once that they had no plans to do one (this was said in 2021 however)

I loved this special, but not as much as the Paris special. That one is still my favorite. The absence of Cat Noir in this episode made it feel kinda dry. Chronobug’s outfit was okay but the yellow was just such a random decision that the episode never explained, probably because she was wearing a hi-vis jacket or whatever. I love the glow-in-the-dark effect tho, that was really cool but not so effective as a stealth suit which I think they were going for. Anyways this comment is getting too long. All in all, love this special, and great video as always 💖

Throughout pretty much the entirety of season 5 Natalie had turned on Gabriel. She gave him a way to prevent his wife from having died, and he wasted it going after Ladybug instead. After that, the two argued constantly and she refused to help him in his nefarious schemes.
I loved this special it was AMAZING
I am SUPER conflicted with season six, mainly because I have negative hope for it. I wanted to watch seasons one and two, but the more I hear about the show's getting more convoluted and melodramatic (probably too melodramatic for a kidshow), the more I want to stray away from the show altogether. I will never understand why the writers would make such decisions like Adrien never becoming his own character, or Lila becoming a full-fledged supervillain in a weird way, or even "damning" Chloé's character.
Many of you are free to enjoy the show and hope for the best, but for me, I'll just be standing in the dark background, being utterly melancholic about the show's story quality.

i absolutely LOVED this special and i do agree with you that adrinette should break up like they arent it for me. also i LOVE ladynoir and i cannot deal with the fact that this is the last time i would be seeing them with his animation 😭. i dont like the new animation style so idk if i would watch s6 bc of this.
I enjoy Miraculous Ladybug & Cat Noir but I'm also critical of it for certain choices but this definitely was a step in the right direction taking a more mature & dark turn by finally having Marinette look inward to confront herself to face the mistakes she made while trying to deal with the weight of her guilt it definitely felt sort of like a really good Spider-Man story line.

What I really wish for is that a miraculous special for Africa was introduced
It would show case some unique things in Africa in relation to the series especially the ancient gods and powers which were used in the past by Africans I think that would be a great idea
