Love this. Very informative. Since I dont have a horse this wasn't much use to me but you never know others might need it so great video. Keep it up! (:
I recently started horse riding and at first although i wanted to keep doing it i was thinking of quitting it because it was quite hard to get the hang of and then i came across your videos and you have really taught me a lot of tips and im still going and i love it more than ever now thank you for making these videos ❤❤
Only just watching your vids today Again saying how good and how shows that being involved with horses need not break the bank but the care is still top care x
taffy is a very cute horse you are very lucky to have him i have a question when you were holding taffy's mane at the top and saying that he wouldnt feel pain because they way you were holding his mane but i thought horses had no nerves where ther mane was i am not telling you that your doing it wrong cause you seem very very very experienced i am just asking please respond and tell me if that is true :)
I have a Kaimanawa (New Zealand wild horse 😊) and she is in her paddock all year round? Do you think I should put a rug on her? She normally gets really, really fluffy so I'm not sure...
Amazing! I am going to get a horse soon hopefully! :) Quick tip, when you brush the tail, you should stand on the side and brush, that way, if he gets spooked, he would not buck you! :) -Nicole
Nicole N thats great :) ye I know in theory standing to the side is safer however having owned taffy for over 7 years I know all his quirks and generally when he spooks when tied up he swings to the side and he's never kicked in the time I've owned him. Each horse has to be dealt with individually for example my other horse I would never stand directly behind for long as he is a kicker x
lilpetchannel I understand what you mean about knowing your horse and all thier quirks But I believe that when you are doing a video to show others that you should be showing us the correct way of doung thibgs To stsnd on the side of the horse while grooming its tail is absolutely the correct way Regardless of how well we may know our horse accidents do happen Just my opunion ☺
Your horse is pretty fat.... But ur tip was really helpful cause I'm starting horse back riding on Saturday and we groom our horses by our selfs so thanks so much

She should be fine without one😊
She doesn't need one, none of mine wear them.
I have a three year old gypsy cob and I only have 2 rugs and she only wire them like 5 times last year xx

Anna Rapp yes but by you're picture it looks like you are in America not England
how many horses do you have
Hi! Do you have your horses' mane and tail pulled? My horse riding friends have been talking about getting their horse's mane and tail pulled.
Sarah Mckendry Danny and Archies mane and tails are pulled but taffy (in this video) and lucy don't have theirs pulled
when cleaning the horse tail do you ever get scared of him kicking you in the face???
MSJ Gaming you ment to stand to one side when doing it
Nope
Where abouts in gb do u live? 😊
Someone told me Leeds I don't know tho soz
If your pony has many nodes in his hair kan you braid it
Do u live in GB
+Mackensey Kennedy yes I do
You should stand on the side of the horse when you brush the tail, so then, just in case if the horse rears or bucks you won't get kicked.
she obviously knows Taffy won't kick otherwise she wouldn't do it I stand behind my horse because I know he won't do anything
I thougt you may not brush his head and legs with a curry comb because theyvare really sensitive
could u plz do more videos on riding I just don't really ever see you riding
i used to have two house but one died beacause when the doctor had to check him she
got scared and broke her leg and bit her touge
When you do the tail your suppose to stand to the side
Yh but she knows Taffy and trusts him not to kick her I stand behind my horses because I trust them
Great video
