As far as I remember with my new year experiences; I had it once in Canada, once in the UK, at least 5 times in the Philippines and most of my life in the US, but I must agree with Tom that PH new year is incomparable to anywhere I've been. Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year to all! I totally agree, you will never see fireworks display in other countries like that in Manila. Most major countries or almost all countries show their fireworks only in specific areas, like major landmark areas (and their fireworks display is unquestionably beautiful and top notch like that in Dubai NYE2024 Firework Disolay), but in the Philippines you will see fireworks display all over Metro Manila like 360° of Manila, a beautiful random fireworks display show which is unique. And the City Lights at night if you are seeing it on the top floor is like "Wow," and I compared it to other countries, on bird's eye view at night, Metro Manila looks like a Milky Way, with those lively city lights at night. Thank you TKF for showing us the different side of Manila 👍💖💐🎉🎉🎉
Not just manila. I mean literally evry frkn neighborhood every houses, villages from north to south of the country. Literally every family household owns atleast some firecrackers/fireworks! And they all go kaboom as long as it last. We dont care about countdown as long as its just thestart of the year!
Yes, there is nothing like the Philippines when it comes to fireworks on New Year's eve😊 So proud, watching from Australia. There are also beautiful fireworks here but it’s just posh to me… I knew what it’s like in my country🇵🇭 I love the noise of my country yearly❤️

i grew up in Manila in the early 80’s at a time when both Christmas and New Year where literally greeted with the same amount of fireworks and noise and you cannot distinguish which is the loudest and smokiest😂..if there were people globally who makes documentaries on NYE celebration they missed out Manila’s own version…it’s definitely ‘grander’ than NY’s ball drop and Australia’s NYE bridge fireworks…we do it the hard headed way and it’s a feast for the eye and senses😂😂😂

Firecrackers, fireworks, amazing food, street party, concerts, booze everywhere. Every neighborhood, every city. This is what makes Philippines NYE festive, unique, loud, colorful and beautiful. It's beautiful and epic. it is part of our Filipino tradition. Every family household lights up firecrackers and fireworks. Even other companies or LGU sponsors fireworks display. We spend tens of thousands some hundreds of thousands of pesos even millions for fireworks and firecrackers for NYE. Philippines is the capital of New Years eve celebration. No other place comes close. It is totally epic. This is what makes our NYE celebration unique. It's more fun in the Philippines. Philippines is indeed the place to be. 2025 NYE onwards will be more epic that's for sure.
