TO EVERYONE, when you do all the steps it does not save the configuration for these 2 reasons:
1. The Manufacturing Programming Mode Is In Unlock counter passed more than 10 and it was locked forever.
2. They blocked Manufacturing Programming Mode Is In Unlock, but they did not fill in the data, if you do it this way it will never save the information
Solution: Flash the bios again and do everything from the beginning.
I wasted a day by not paying attention to those details.
I am having this problem, configuration is not save. Any tutorial?
@@kashifraza1096 You have to start the whole process from scratch, re-flash the bios, on the first try put all the correct data. Don't try one by one, don't restart the computer with a save, do the whole process without omitting any data.
@@robertodonis588 I have Hp a ZBook Fury G8, had the Bios locked by a drunk person that cannot remember the psw, installed a programing version, now the counter is at 1. I do not have the report from the initial BIOS because being locked i could not enter the computer. Now the computer works fine but at every reboot i have to press space bar fast to bypass that. Is there a way to fix it permanently ??

Great tutorial Thanks! My question is why, if you didn't change the system board, did this happen? I have never seen this happen on any other brand of computer.
It gives me success messages, but does not show that it changed anything after running the command, after restart it's exactly the same. I swapped a motherboard in an x360 convertible, cannot get the SKU/Product ID system board error to go away

I had some problems to solve it, because the programming mode counter had reached 10, so it got automaticaly blocked... So I had to reprogram BIOS and make the procedure shown in the video, because I couldn't unblock it at any way.

Try any dummy value for CT board .. It might work..
look under or around memory simms
I did all the setps as in video, after setupconfig its showning any value update, also Manufacturing mode is already locked

I'm getting access denied when I run this? Logged into Administrator account and ran CMD "as an administrator".
Update: I disabled AV and now don't get "access denied", but changes do not get saved to BIOS file. When I do a getconfig to verify change...change was not saved. I even tried boot into repair consol, using Windows media. I got "access denied"?
There maybe another issue, these commands easily run with administrator access.

Is you or your adminstor set password on BIOS?

1. Shutdown Laptop
2. Remove CMOS battery from Motherboard for 1 min.
3. Insert CMOS back to motherboard
4. Power on the laptop, password will be removed from bios.

سلام برای لپ تاپ hp 8770w طبق آموزش بدون خطا انجام شد اما هیچ چیز ذخیره نمی شود و دوباره خطای سریال می دهد گویا bios قفل شده و اجازه تغییرات نمی دهد لازم به ذکر است ویندوز به راحتی بالا می آید و مشکلی ندارد و به تنظیمات bios نیز دسترسی دارم
