On the road from Whitehorse to Dawson City we stopped at a place that advertised the world's largest cinnamon buns. They were the size of a dinner plate and oh so good!
You just raised my administration to your postings with Night to Shine. I've been to a few of Tim Tebow's charity fundraisers and collected way too much stuff from his silent auctions. It was a shock to our community when he passed away. Thank you for sharing Shine Tallahassee. God Bless you.
This is funny to watch. We literally were just at all the places you’re stopping. We went up the 99 from Vancouver to Squamish, to Whistler, Pemberton, 100-Mile House, then to the 16, to the 37 and then turned off to the 37A to go see Bear & Salmon Glaciers by Stewart BC & Hyder Alaska. We continued North to the Alaska highway to the Yukon, and Watson Lake. We left 2 license plates at the Sign Post Forest, then headed down the Alaska highway to Liard Hot Springs, which was awesome. That same bear you had at your site, was at ours too (overflow parking at Liard) apparently he’s a regular. Our dogs kept him away..lol. We’re almost to Dawson Creek now and thought the drive was amazing. All of it, absolutely LOVED it! We’re headed to Jasper & Banff, then slowly headed to Baja for the winter. Enjoy your trip. 🙌 PS..those cinnamon buns were the best we’ve ever eaten, she’s quite the baker

Hot springs were a bargain at that cost, water was so clear that was amazing. Very good information in this video! We just got back from Alaska and I honestly don’t know how you do it with editing and keeping up with the videos. We got a GoPro just for the trip and even used the Quik app to edit short videos for us but gave up half way through our trip. Thanks for all the effort that goes into your channel. Enjoy your trip! For years we have been doing production work for a nonprofit in San Diego that helps with intellectually and developmentally disabled folks. It's amazing how much they can enhance the lives of these people. Goodonya, both of you, for doing this!!! Safe travels and yes, more people are injured by moose each year than bears. So tell that kooky wife of yours to stop running around taking pictures of them in the wild!!! 🙂

I like both of the signs ... and a nice recovery on the FLORIDA! I travel full-time in my Class A... and last week I was somewhat close to your hometown. I was at Lake Seminole right on the Georgia / Florida line. Now in Pensacola visiting daughter ... and then working my way up to where I'm originally from ... Indiana.
Check out the Dewalt battery operated tire inflator. We use it for our rig and it goes up to 120 PSI. Makes airing up all the tires a breeze with just setting the pressure you want and pressing go.
Funny thing......I was scrolling,,,,,,I found the friends you are traveling with, I noticed the bike on the front of the camper,,,,I said to myself, I've seen that truck w bike. ..........didn't take long after watching their newest video,,,,,,I saw your RV on their episode. 😊 I m following their journey next to you......😊 Safe travels.
Both signs look really great! Love the colors on them. It’s a tie. I doubt anyone would have noticed that Florida wasn’t spelt right, but the fix was really good as it made it more colorful. Enjoy your journey and time in Alaska, it really is beautiful. Do be more careful of the bears, take safety and shelter over pictures - I personally saw one break a little window on the trailer and get inside despite its large size. It shredded the fridge and made a huge mess. Luckily the owners weren’t there and just stayed in their vehicle until help came, rangers blasted really loud air horns to get the bear out and because it was a repeat offender, they shot and killed the bear. A person was killed / mauled by a bear in Liard hot springs and lots of trouble with bears there, hence the electric fence. 😊

There really is endless boondocking on the Alcan or 37 in BC if you have a smaller rig. Most BC hunters and fisherman prefer truck campers for this reason. Course they are not full time RVers. Thanks for posting
We stayed in the overflow RV parking on the south side of the road east of the café and we have free access to Menard Hot Springs whenever we want of us and Star link work perfect there
I feel ya on the towing, Craig. 44’ toy hauler… it’s mentally exhausting. I just drove every mile of the 1800 miles from Denver - Grand Junction - Great Basin NP - Cedar Breaks - Grand Staircase - Capitol Reef - Rifle Gap - Denver. It’s brutal behind the wheel that long.

If you drive through BC you have to stay at the Alice Lake camp ground for it's stunning big tree forest and amazing camp spots if you don't make the effort you are really missing out on the bast spot in BC. The area has many unique geological areas and every environment. Dunes to rain forest.
In June 1972, my parents transported their 3 children (aged 11 to 15) in a brand new Chevrolet Caprice, and pulled a tiny tent trailer with tiny wheels, up the Alaska Highway. It was all gravel in those days and at about Mile 105, the the trailer leaf springs gave up at three points, bending the axle 90 degrees in the process. A number of other travellers stopped to help, and when an unencumbered 4x4 pick-up truck appeared, it was waved down, and the driver was happy to drive into the ditch, while a dozen people literally lifted the trailer onto the back of the pick-up. It was then driven to the gas station at Wonowon (Mile 101) where the axle was straitened, the frame reinforced and the suspension welded back on. Being British, my parents decided to press on regardless, and at about MIle 485, we pulled into a pull out and checking under the trailer, we found both leaf spring's welds had failed at the front mountings. That was the furthest we travelled on the Alcan HIghway. We cut down a small tree, cut it to length, lashed it across the trailer frame, and lashed the springs to the tree. The now abandoned gas station at your boondocking site was where we had the springs reattached. I've never been back, unfortunately...
Rosie and I have been to Alaska for the summer three times now. We took our Montana fifth wheel the first time. our Reflection the second and last summer our Brinkley Z-3100. The first two trips we had flat tires, but the Brinkley was great! With the Brinkley we had solar and an inverter so we boondocked the entire summer. Burlington Bill busking on the road and on you tube. A couple videos on my you tube site from our last trip including one where I filmed a bear near Kluen Lake in the Yukon.
Craig, the yellow behind 'Florida' is to represent the sun as in The Sunshine State. It just needed sun rays around it. Loved the 'no sniveling' sign on the gas pump.

Hi guys signs were a tie.i love the sign for shine for Tallahassee. We live in Port charlotte Florida and we have 2 group homes for handicap adults and we go to night to shine here in are area we have been doing this work for 20 years now we take them to Gatlinburg Tennessee and they love it been there 3 times now they love going white water rafting, horse back riding, zip lining and so much more.thank you 2 for supporting this community

We Boondocks for 3 months in Alaska all over from Anchorage Fairbanks Valdese Homer Seward never had a problem finding a boondocking spot

Mp 700 is a spot where my dad and I caught some nice dolly varden trout when we were there in 1969. And there were fresh bear tracks everywhere.

Well done, folks; lots of good info. I think Craig gets the award for best sign, mostly because he found a way to remedy his mistake. I think "Florida" looks better with the highlight box. Victoria's sign looks good too. I think the blue mountains were a good choice! If we make it up that way, we'll certainly look for your sign. 🙂
