No i personally believe that sliding needs to be banned. It puts the qb in a very vulnerable and dangerous position . And is not fair for the defenders because it puts them in a awkward position . If your a qb and you run stay on your feet and be prepared to be hit or run toward the sidlene. If your a qb and your not comfortable running because your afraid to get hurt yhen dont run ! If im a coach i wud never tell my qb or any player to slide. It puts your head on a silver platter to get hit. Stay on your feet. This isnt baseball !
No one is celebrating it and I am pretty sure the entire FSU fanbase would've been pissed that it would've killed the drive and potentially the game. They are critical of the hit and anyone supporting lowering the crown as a guy gives himself up is an idiot.
I live in Gainesville FL but I don't like Florida Gators at all, when it comes to FSU playing against them at home or away, they always adding foul hits, unsportsmanlike conduct, taunting and don't have no respect.
