@@audioguru67BassCoverHe is referring to this th-cam.com/video/2U3zwTUbSxg/w-d-xo.html The bass player is dropping a B (the 7 in your tab) and adding a single E (0 in your tab) right before the A (5) instead of a muted B (X). This does NOT match the original album recording which you are tabbing out. To be clear you're phrasing is great. On the original recording the last B note before the A is actually a X muted B. But your tabs are fantastic and since the muted B(7) still has some tone ....listing it as a (7) instead of X is 100% acceptable. And thanks a million for posting this! Billy Idol has always had some great bass lines and music. Try to ignore the joeballs5669s of the world. The guy hasn't tabbed out anything or improved the internet in any manner whatsoever.
@@hdr96k ha ok… I was hearing A and B in the intro/verse didn’t really understand what the guy was saying… maybe he saw the bass player playing an open A on the 3rd string and didn’t knew there was other A on different positions that you can play… anyway has you said, that albums has so many hits and so many great bass lines, really fun to play.
@@audioguru67BassCover The live guy is just throwing a low E before the A and dropping the extra BX (muted). But you aren't tabbing the live version out. I forgot how cool of a bass line this tune has. So much room for it to breathe.
